POSITION SUMMARY
Performs all general maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, testing and monitoring of the hospital’s electrical
systems and wiring, including high, medium and low voltage systems and communication (voice and data) wiring. Performs other
duties as assigned to assist in achieving overall division and hospital goals. Safety and regulatory compliance are a condition of
employment. May be required to work other shifts as well as rotating schedules and overtime.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
High school graduate or equivalent. (5) years minimum experience, preferably hospital setting. General knowledge of NEC, NFPA and local code requirements. Previously completed apprenticeship program highly desirable but not required. Participates in orientation and continuing education in order to maintain knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Working knowledge and ability to utilize standard electrical testing equipment including but not limited to VOM, ammeters, circuit
tracers, meggers, ground fault detection equipment, etc. Experience with high voltage switch gear, low voltage circuitry, emergency
power systems, UPS power systems and emergency generators. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Ability to calculate material requirements from drawing and schematics. See General Performance Criteria section for additional

The Medical Imaging team at Albany Memorial is searching for a professional, organized individual to join their team in a Per Diem Administrative Liaison Role! The Per Diem position is an as-needed basis with the current primary need being weekend day shift hours.
The Administrative Liaison provides administrative and secretarial support for the department, which involves handling of patient medical records and working within multiple computer systems. Daily tasks include:
- Fielding phone calls from patient and provider offices
- Obtaining outside imaging records
- Sending internal imaging records to other sites
- Other duties as assigned
What you will need:
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, excel, graphics.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
- HS Diploma / GED Required
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Part Time Senior Administrative Assistant
As a member of the Hospice team, the Senior Administrative Assistant will support the mission of Hospice.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answering multi-line phones, sending calls to field staff, greeting guests to our office, sorting mail, maintaining incoming faxes, chart audits, ordering office supplies, data entry and use of computer software.

The Associate Director of Cath Lab is an integral part of the leadership team and is responsible for many duties in the Cath lab including, quality, safety, finance, and committee meetings and reporting. This position provides 24 hour managerial and clinical support to patients and staff. Uses depth and breadth of clinical management knowledge to ensure the provision of high quality, safe, and cost effective patient care. Demonstrates clinical expertise and oversees the leadership of clinical, financial, and personnel management of the assigned areas.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Manages and facilitates patient centered care for designated patient populations. Serves as a resource and provides leadership assistance to achieve optimal clinical, operational, financial, and satisfaction outcomes. Collaborates with all departments to assist with patient flow and process improvement. Manages the operations of the unit to ensure smooth and efficient patient care management and resource utilization.
2. Leads change by developing, implementing and evaluating quality and process improvement initiatives of the department in conjunction with the director. Seeks and utilizes input from staff and oversees change implementation. Ensures compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
3. Facilitates communication of system, regional, facility and department initiatives.
4. Manages and develops the operational and capital budgets and use of associated resources. May analyze data and healthcare trends to gain efficiencies and improve patient outcomes.
5. Assures the development of staff leadership through the design of effective shared leadership models and supports career advancement opportunities. Functions as a role model and encourages staff to participate in their own development.
6. Responsible for selection, orientation, on-boarding, and retention. Demonstrates leadership through coaching, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and development opportunities to create a culture of learning.
7. Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to department practices. This includes maintaining confidentiality of all work information. Adheres to safety policies.
Manages large single unit or multiple clinical units to ensure excellent patient care. Actively develops leadership of entry level manager(s) while leading clinical improvement initiatives. Internal customers include patients, staff, and physicians. External customers include patient family.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3 years related experience.
Requires clinical experience and certification as: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with advance certification in Cardiac/Vascular. Licensure by state regulatory agency required, if applicable. Requires ACLS certification.
Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of clinical care management.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills of specialty area. Requires critical thinking, communication, influence, decision-making, analytical, and flexibility skills to make optimal decisions based on multiple variables and desired outcomes. Must have the ability to practice skills according to department and professional standards and quality requirements.

What you will do:
- The PPS coordinator is responsible for planning, developing and overall coordination of activities that support the Prospective Payment System (PPS) and Quality Reporting Program (QRP) processes for the inpatient rehabilitation units.
Responsibilities:
- Assures compliance with all State and Federal requirements related to and oversees the accuracy and timely completion/transmission of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI).
- Coordinates staff education and training related to scoring and documenting observations of CMG and Quality Measures.
- Completes and transmits the IRF-PAI to iQies within specified timeframes dictated by CMS.
- Collaborates with rehab liaison and admitting physician to determine the anticipated case mix group (CMG) to be assigned to each patient admitted
- Collects pertinent demographic, clinical and quality data and enters it on the IRF-PAI.
- Communicates with coders within 4 days of admission to determine etiologic diagnosis and co-morbid conditions present on admission.
- Communicates estimated length of stay to case manager for discharge planning and discussion at case conference.
- Participates in all case conferences and reviews documentation concurrently throughout the stay to ensure accurate documentation of team conference discussion.
- Reviews codes as provided by health information management for capture of documented conditions.
- Tracks and reports regularly on 60% rule compliance.

Personnel Resource Management
- Utilizes call center management tools to monitor and manage real time call queues, wait times, service levels, abandonment rates, and other call statistics.

4 Palm is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team on the GI, Colorectal Surgical Floor. Our unit specializes in providing exceptional post-operative care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal (GI)colorectal surgeries. The patients have a variety of medical diagnoses such as Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, gallstones, irritable bowel syndrome, and general post-surgery with a focus on abdominal. Expectations We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do:
Works closely with the Nurse Case Managers and Social Workers in making referrals as directed by attending physicians to private home care agencies regarding chemotherapy administration and necessary blood draws. 2. Remains current with changes in policies or procedures, as they are written or revised. 3. Coordinates lab work, growth factors and transfusions that need to be arranged prior to the next treatment, whether it is returning to the Hematology and Oncology Clinic, by home health, or at an outside physicians office and call/fax orders accordingly. 4. Consults with Oncology Pharmacists regarding dose adjustments, drug interactions and treatment orders, especially in relation to patients lab work if there are abnormal values. 5. Consults with the Attending Physician regarding patient toxicities and dose adjustments, and interim labs in between scheduled treatments. 6. Schedules various outpatient procedures. Coordinates necessary outpatient CT scans, MRIs, PET Scans, schedule Lumbar Punctures under fluoro when necessary for Intrathecal Chemo. 7. Responsible for scheduling and arranging follow up to the Hematology and Oncology Clinic for continuation of outpatient chemotherapy treatments initiated in the hospital. 8. Establishes local Hematology and Oncology follow up for patients referred from outlying areas when needing or requesting care coordinated closer to their hometown. 9. Utilizes assessment skills to gauge patient's physical and emotional needs. 10. Determines discharge needs of the patient and family. Communicates plan of care effectively to health care team while ensuring complete, accurate, and timely written documentation of patient information. 11. Ensures adequate staffing at all times. Directs, organizes and plans day-to-day operations of the department to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency. 12. Provides leadership to staff to ensure short and long-term goals are met by developing standards of performance and capitalizing on employee strengths. 13. Manages staff through recruitment, orientation, training on policies and procedures, and conducting 90 Day and Annual Employee Reviews. 14. Maintains a safe work environment, ensuring staff complete annual training, following polices regarding infection control and safety. 15. Ensures compliance with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposure to blood and other potentially infections body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation, asbestos and other hazardous substances. 16. Coordinates operational aspects of systems including revising workflows, forms and procedures, identifying and designing reports required for operations and monitoring implementation timeliness. 17. Conducts customer evaluations using departmental visits, surveys and questionnaires to measure quality and satisfaction of programs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with five years' nursing experience, one year of which should be in a related field, acute care or a specialty area required. BSN preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of applicable state and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) may be required within one year in select clinical areas.
