Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Clinical Support Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will provide assistance with intake of patients at the clinic level by collecting and tracking certain patient information, documentation to the medical record and serving as a liaison between patients and providers.
What You'll Do:
- Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
- Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
- Works collaboratively with other clinical and office staff.
- Schedules patient appointments in accordance with office protocols.
- Shares patient information with providers.
- Maintains medical supply inventory in clinical areas.
- Assists with lifting of patients and medical equipment when required.
General Requirements:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED or between the ages of 15-17 with a valid work permit from their high school.
CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Successful completion of a related program and/of current C.N.A, EMT, PCT, etc preferred. Valid CPR certification.

Position Purpose:
Provides patient focused customer service within the Emergency Department. Performs outpatient & / or inpatient registration & insurance verification functions; collects patient financial liability payments & ensures that patients meet financial requirements including Medicare medical necessity, payer pre-certifications & referrals. Provides general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire.
Preferred Experience:

Position Purpose:

Performs a variety of clerical, registration, cashier functions as well as laboratory phlebotomy procedures. Maintains logs and records. Maintains inventory and orders supplies. Reconciles billing on AS400 and error batch. Works with Warde send outs including follow up with procedures and Warde billing.
What Lab Assistant will do:
- Obtains registration information from patients and patient signatures as outlined according to procedure.
- Explains health care policies and procedures to patients.
- Obtains and interprets physician orders and diagnoses and performs the clerical functions related to ordering of ancillary services.
- Distribute laboratory reports and retrieve patient results.
Employment Type: Casual/PRN
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate required. Associates preferred.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral. Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Department operation provides 24-hour coverage, 365 days per year, which may require working a variety of shifts and days of the week.
- Must be able to be reached at home by telephone.

POSITION PURPOSE
To perform the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our community and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or Director, to assure our community is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Mission, Vision, Values and Guiding Behaviors of Trinity Health and Trinity Senior Living Communities in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
2. Consistently demonstrate (leads by example) Sanctuary Values to all internal and external customers (residents, visitors, volunteers, and associates.) Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, propagating a calm environment throughout the community.
3. Execute assignments in a culture that is shared and collaborative across all divisions within TSLC.
4. Follow established safety precautions, including fire safety, when performing tasks, using equipment and supplies.
5. Ensure assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, sanitary and attractive manner. Ensure established infection control and universal precautions practices are maintained when performing environmental services procedures.
6. Ensure adequate supplies are available and maintained in order to perform daily tasks. Ensure equipment and supplies are cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
7. Report extinguished light bulbs, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, malfunctions, breakdowns, etc., to your supervisor/designee as soon as practical. Change and install light bulbs as needed.
8. Clean and polish the community including windows and mirrors, walls and ceilings, furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating and cooling units and floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping.
9. Floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting, etc., daily.
10. May be required to paint and refinish the community and its furnishings and fixtures as assigned.
11. Respect resident rights, including maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information, knocking before entering a resident's room, honoring the residents' personal and property rights, informing the resident when it is necessary to move his/her personal possessions during cleaning procedures and reporting complaints of missing property to your Director.
12. Complete deep thorough clean of entire room as needed including prior to admission or after discharge,

Position Summary:
Respiratory Care Associates perform routine Respiratory Care procedures according to established standards in General Patient Care areas and under direct supervision of a therapist in the Adult Critical Care Units, Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Units and the Emergency Department. Therapists are required to direct and oversee the activities of associates who may be assigned to work with them while performing advanced procedures such as mechanical ventilation. Unit Overview:
This 30-bed unit is a blend of PCU/Telemetry and Medical/Surgical patients that are Inpatient, Observation, or Outpatient in a Bed (OIB) status.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
2. Formulates a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family and health team input. Initiates a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data and the medical plan of care. Goals for patient are realistic, measurable and developed in conjunction with the patient/family. Considers the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age specific and educational needs of the patient in the plan of are. Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team. Reviews and revises the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient’s status.
3. Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of the activities of the health care team. Provides care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements. Delegates appropriately, and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for whom care is provided.
4. Evaluates the patient's and family's response to care and teaching, and revises the plan of care as needed. Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other health care team members. Evaluates patient's response and the effectiveness of patient teaching.
5. Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record. Documentation is legible, timely and in accordance with policy. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.

Regularly inspect all plant machinery to detect malfunctions and ensure optimal running conditions. Adjust and/or repair equipment through hands on involvement, either independently or with assistance of coworkers or contractors.
Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory agencies.
Monitor Multi-facility management system (Metasys) to respond, dispatch and/or assist others with alarm-generated conditions.
Maintain/ monitor Medical Air compressors and Control Air compressors located in the Central Plant.

The Imaging Tech Assistant contributes to workflow efficiency, patient comfort, and quality outcomes by assisting with exam preparation, patient positioning, and departmental operations in alignment with Trinity Health’s commitment to relationship-centered care.
What the Imaging Tech Assistant will do:
Patient Care & Support
- Assist with direct patient care under supervision, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding procedures, delays, and expectations to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation
- Verify patient identity using standard protocols (name, DOB, MRN) and confirm the ordered exam
- Prepare patients for imaging exams, including positioning and assisting with transfers
- Perform delegated clinical tasks, which may include:
- Venipuncture, IV start/discontinuation
- Point-of-care testing (POCT)
- MRI screening and completion of required forms (e.g., contrast, history)
- Monitor patient status and promptly escalate concerns to technologists, nurses, or radiologists
Workflow & Clinical Operations
- Assist with patient transport and flow throughout the department
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for procedures
- Obtain and review relevant patient information (e.g., history, labs, allergies, prior imaging, implants)
- Accurately document patient data in systems such as PACS, RIS, and electronic health records
- Ensure specimens are properly labeled and delivered to the laboratory (if applicable)
Environment, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
- Follow infection prevention protocols, including appropriate use of PPE
- Adhere to MRI safety and/or radiation safety standards as applicable
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Report safety concerns, near misses, or incidents per organizational policy
Professional Development
- Participate in required training, including:
- MRI and/or radiation safety
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Annual mandatory education
- Engage in ongoing learning to maintain and enhance skills
What the Imaging Tech Assistant will need:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, caregiving, or support role involving direct interaction with individuals.
- Basic computer proficiency, including use of email, internet browsers, and standard workplace applications. Ability to learn and navigate electronic health record (EHR) systems and imaging software (e.g., RIS, PACS) with training.
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), EMT, or equivalent healthcare certification; or Enrollment in or completion of a healthcare-related training program (e.g., Radiologic Technology, Nursing, Medical Assistant, or similar)
- Preferred: At least Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare or patient-facing environment; experience assisting with basic patient care activities; exposure to hospital or clinical settings; familiarity with electronic health record systems

Position Summary:
Oversees the shift operations of a single patient care department; supervises employees directly and is responsible for solving most of the problems arising for assigned shift or clinical specialty (surgery). Supervises the planning,
directing, and evaluating of clinical operations in collaboration with Manager and/or Clinical Service Director, including but not limited to staff development, daily staff assignment of patient care, ensuring adequate equipment

What the Nursing Supervisor Operating Room will need:
Education
- Minimum: For Nursing areas - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). For other clinical areas – Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a clinical discipline appropriate to the clinical area.
- Preferred: For Nursing areas - Masters in Nursing (MSN) or plan to complete Master’s degree strongly preferred.
Credentials/Licensure
- Minimum: Licensed Registered Nurse in state of Michigan.
- Preferred: Certified in Specialty; ACLS/PALS/NALS as per specialty.
Related Experience
- Minimum: Three years acute care nursing experience for similar patient populations. Progressive experience in health care including involvement in direct patient care, educating staff, supervising personnel and problem solving of unit or organizational issues.
What the Nursing Supervisor Operating Room will do:
- Communicates and collaborates with staff, clinical managers/directors, medical staff, clinical resource coordinators and other hospital personnel regarding clinical operations, patient flow and staff development opportunities.
- Manages day-to-day operations of a single clinical area, specialty or shift or oversees the operations across units. Resolves problems within area of specialty.

- Facilitates scheduling, staffing and daily adjustments based on patient needs, budgetary parameters, and resources available.

Position Purpose:
Responsible for the coordination and on-time delivery of complete case carts to the operating room. In collaboration with the Surgery Team Leader and Sterile Processing Shift Coordinator, monitors the OR schedule for changes in scheduled cases, added cases and emergency cases.
What the Surgical Technologist Case Coordinator Will Do:
- Provides a quality control check for completeness and accuracy of case carts based on pick-list
- Assists in troubleshooting and problem solving instrument conflicts
- Ensures that case carts are properly staged and delivered to the appropriate OR prior to the scheduled start time for the case
- Ensures that OR Staff is aware of missing items, shortages and circumstances requiring the completion of case cart after it has been received in the surgical suite
- Coordinates room turnover by monitoring OR Assistant assignments, working in conjunction with OR Staff
- Communicates with OR to facilitate the availability of urgent and emergent carts
- Checks emergency case cart stored in the OR for completeness
- Develops and recommends new or revised procedures to enhance overall effectiveness and accuracy of the surgical supply system
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of surgical supplies and instruments, medical terminology, policies and procedures and instrument identification and aseptic techniques
- Active physical exertion at least 66% of the time. Ability to push and pull carts that may exceed 100 pounds, unassisted at times. Ability to lift objects weighing 50 pounds or more; ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop and bend without restrictions

What the Surgical Technologist Will Do:
- Provides assistance as necessary to surgeons and residents by selecting, organizing, anticipating and passing surgical instruments, medical supplies, equipment, and provides retraction under the direction of the surgeon.
