Education
Required - Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
Work Experience
Required - None.
Preferred - Radiologic technology experience.
Certifications
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry eligible, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment, and temporary state license required.
Current unrestricted license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability) and travel throughout and between facilities.
Job Duties
Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol (may include placement of nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, and administration of contrast).
Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warranted.
Assists in the facilitation of departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance, etc.).
Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
Performs other related duties as required.

Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. The incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases.
Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.

Education
Required – High School diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Radiologic Technology program from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school
Work Experience
Required – Experience working with and maintaining confidential information including experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Preferred – Prior healthcare experience
Certifications
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed by the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
Job Duties
- Supports and ensures the patient is prepared for the visit by completing appropriate documentation, including patient registration as needed, explaining procedure to patient’s understanding and patient’s questions are answered prior to leaving. After patient leaves, prepares room for next appointment.
- Supports and ensures the provider is prepared for the visit by verifying physician orders and procedures for accuracy.

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join our practice of 6 physicians and 3 APPs. Ochsner Medical Center – Northshore and Slidell Memorial Hospital are in a joint partnership allowing for two independent organizations to collaborate and offer better, more cost-effective healthcare for the region.

- Team of providers include 3 APPs who provide coverage to outpatient clinics for follow-up appointments and patient overflow.
- Slidell Memorial Hospital has 28 Open ICU beds
- Call: 7-10 days per month (including 1 weekend every 5 weeks)
- Brand new space in the clinic that is attached to the main campus hospital.
- Robust pulmonary disease office practice and associated procedures, with wide referral base both local and regional to manage a comprehensive range of chronic pulmonary conditions.
- Practice is complemented by a 4-bed Sleep Lab and Pulmonary Rehab department.
- Growing diagnostic programs such as EBUS, Pulmonary Hypertension and Spirometry Testing in primary care clinics.

- Responsible for program design, development and implementation of Corporate/Comprehensive Wellness programs.
- Responsible for providing support and guidance to Corporate clients.
- Responsible for meeting with each Health Coordinator/Corporate clients as needed to provide guidance in the development of appropriate health initiatives and ongoing management of each Corporate client.
- Review quarterly engagement reports and identify areas of opportunity.
- Re-assess and adjust implementation strategies to meet company client’s expectations.
- Review quarterly summary reports written by the coordinators and provide feedback and guidance.
- Responsible for maintaining Corporate/Comprehensive Wellness clients and providing coordination of those programs to include program design, development and implementation (Number of clients is determined by manager).
- Coordinates program services including biometric screenings, Hello Health at work seminars, corporate challenges, Pathway to Results Weight Management and health coaching programs and any future program services.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and its business partners including all provider to provide excellent customer service and to foster new business
- Attend onsite client events.

Education

2 years of experience as an LPN in an acute care setting.

Certifications

Knowledge of pharmacology, laboratory tests and telemetry.

Receives patients, explains procedures, checks vital signs, and administers therapy.
Monitors reactions and reports to physicians.
Handles emergency situations.
Provides infusion treatments such as hydration, blood, and blood components, administering drugs and solutions.
Organizes, plans, supervises, and provides coordinated patient care within the unit.
Supervises, develops, and evaluates assigned departmental staff nurses and technicians.
Promotes the adoption of nursing protocols and clinical practice guidelines to support evidence-based practice.
Manages conflict on assigned shifts and collaborates with other supervisors and unit leadership if further action is needed.
Collaborates with patient quality, safety, and experience leadership and promotes patient quality, safety, and experience processes.
Supports daily clinical operations on the unit by ensuring effective scheduling, staffing, and appropriate clinical supplies and resources are available for patient care.
