Schedule medical tests and procedures for patients. (i.e. - interventional invasive cardiology procedures, electrophysiology, etc.)
Discuss patient instructions for procedures with patient so patient has clear understanding of what is expected.
Calls patients to schedule procedures and give instructions over phone with follow-up letter with instructions.
Use Allscripts, Centricity Business, online paging systems. Retrieve information from other hospital systems.
Holds in confidence all matters concerning patients according to HIPAA guidelines.
Exhibits friendly and helpful behavior.
Other duties as assigned.
Other Functions:
Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct
Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times

Position Summary and Purpose
The Front Office Lead is responsible for overseeing the duties of staff at the front office including check-in, check-out, scanning and filing electronic medical records, appointment scheduling, referral process to specialist (if applicable) and appropriate release of medical records. The lead will ensure that responsibilities are carried out with accuracy and timeliness.
Essential Functions:
Under the direct supervision of a Practice Manager, this position provides coordination and administration of front office activities, and:
• Supervises front office staff responsible for check-in and check-out of patients including scheduling of appointments, collecting payment and benefit verification on all patients in accordance with practice policies
• Supervises staff handling appointment request calls and assure staff is trained in answering phones appropriately and following all scheduling protocols
• Enters physician schedules into EPIC and create templates, as needed
• Assists practice manager with monthly and ad hoc meetings with staff
• Ensures adherence to HIPAA guidelines and ensures compliance from all front office; ensures all front office staff members read, acknowledge and follow updates to policies and procedures
Other Functions:
• Works with practice manager to facilitate training of new hires and complete other training initiatives
• Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct

Job Description:
The Clinical Assistant provides clinical patient care support in a caring, safe, and efficient manner, under the supervision and delegation of the Registered Nurse. In collaboration with patients and families (as defined by the patient) the Clinical Assistant is responsible for the care of the patient. - May perform skills, within scope of practice for unlicensed assistive personnel. These skills include, but are not limited to, the collection of specimens, use of specialized equipment, restraint monitoring and patient elimination procedures. - Performs functional assignments per unit standards of care, including such activities as patient admission and discharge procedures, unit environmental organizational tasks, and others as appropriate to service

Summary
The primary purpose of the Pharmacy Technician is to assist the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager with serving customers and maintaining the Community Pharmacy at Baptist Health. This position requires taking responsibility within appropriate guidelines under the supervision of the pharmacist for many of the medication preparation and distribution duties. The Community Pharmacy Technician will assist the Community Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists in prescription fulfillment, playing a key role in pharmacy operations and providing excellent patient service. The Community Pharmacy Technician is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with Baptist Health System policies, federal, and state pharmacy regulations. The Community Pharmacy Technician functions in a multi-skilled environment, which requires the application of teamwork, leadership and flexibility. Baptist Health is looking for a part-time, weekdays, 16 hours per week Retail / Community Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Baptist Health Hamburg, 3000 Baptist Health Blvd, Lexington, KY! No weekends!
- Performs all functions and duties with the patient at the center, ensuring prompt and friendly service in the Community Pharmacy.
- Performs all tasks associated with the filling and dispensing of community prescriptions, including computer order entry, updating patient information, filling and labeling prescriptions, and completing transactions at the point of sale.
- Delivery of medications to discharging patients per Pharmacist’s requests.
- Completes prescriber outreach for prescription refills under direct pharmacist supervision.
- Assists with scheduling and coordinating home delivery for prescriptions.
- Assists in inventory management processes, including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.
- Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
- Ability to prioritize workflow by patient impact and ensure that all assigned tasks are completed at the end of the shift. All identified problems, if they cannot be corrected by the employee, will be reported to the Pharmacist.
- Performs simple nonsterile compounding per current USP<795> guidelines and as permitted by state law under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Assists in training new staff when assigned.
- Escalates all identified problems or patient complaints, if they cannot be corrected by the employee, resolution.
- Attends and contributes to the content of meetings and committees as assigned.
- Completes other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist or Community Pharmacy Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
- Previous retail pharmacy work experience preferred.
- National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) preferred.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or RN with 15+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement (Employees hired before 11/30/2025 will be exempt from this requirement)
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Certification specific to area of hiring, highly desirable. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Certified Case Manager (CCMC), Accredited Case Manager (ACMA), Care Coordination and Transition Management (AAACN), Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN), or similar.
- Three to five (3-5) years of recent clinical experience in area of specialty required
- Current BLS certification
