Schedule: Weekend coverage and PTO for inpatient Therapy
Department: Speech Therapy
Join a compassionate and mission-driven team dedicated to helping patients regain communication and swallowing abilities. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll evaluate, treat, and support patients through personalized therapy plans, collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough clinical evaluations tailored to patient diagnoses.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with functional, measurable goals.
- Deliver effective therapy interventions and adjust plans based on patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, prognosis, and home exercises.
- Monitor for adverse responses and modify treatment accordingly.
- Plan and execute timely discharges with appropriate recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billing.
- Participate in team meetings, staffing's, and family conferences.
- Collaborate with other professionals and make referrals as needed.
- Provide guidance to rehab techs, volunteers, and students.
- Support departmental initiatives including CARF, JCAHO, and performance improvement.
- Attend and contribute to in-services and maintain required competencies.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Indiana
- Current CPR certification
Experience:
- Preferred: Clinical experience in a Speech Therapy setting
- Acceptable: New graduates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Skills:

Position Purpose

The Manager, Finance for Mount Carmel College of Nursing (MCCN) serves as the senior financial leader for the College, providing strategic oversight of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, business intelligence, student financial services, and operational performance management. This role partners closely with College leadership, Mount Carmel Health System Finance, and Trinity Health stakeholders to support sound financial stewardship, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and long-term organizational success.
The Manager, Finance is responsible for translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, leading process improvement initiatives, overseeing business office operations, and ensuring the integrity of financial and student account information while supporting the College's mission of educating future healthcare professionals.
Essential Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
- Lead the College's budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
- Develop and communicate financial analyses, forecasts, and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and develop action plans to optimize results.
- Oversee month-end close activities, annual audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure effective stewardship of departmental and institutional financial resources.
- Partner with College and Health System leadership to support strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
Student Financial Services & Business Operations
- Provide oversight of student financial services, including cashiering, accounts receivable, student billing, collections, payment processing, refunds, and institutional loan administration.
- Ensure accurate assessment and collection of tuition, fees, and other student-related revenues.
- Oversee compliance with applicable regulations related to student accounts, institutional loans, IRS Form 1098-T reporting, and related financial requirements.
- Collaborate with Financial Aid, Registrar, Enrollment Services, and other College departments to support effective student financial processes and customer service.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure the accuracy and integrity of student financial records.
Analytics, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Lead the development and enhancement of financial reports, dashboards, forecasting tools, and business intelligence resources.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across financial and operational systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting, and increase operational efficiency.
- Partner with Information Technology and organizational leaders to support system enhancements, implementations, and reporting initiatives.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support resource planning and decision-making.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop Finance and Business Office staff.
- Establish departmental goals, monitor performance, and promote accountability and professional growth.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, service excellence, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
- Ensure effective workload management, cross-training, and business continuity planning.
- Recognize and support employee contributions through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
Relationship Management & Service Excellence
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor and resource to College leadership and key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Higher Education Administration, or related field required.
- Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or related discipline) preferred.
Licensure / Certification
- CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
Experience
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, higher education finance, or related areas.
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience within healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, or complex matrix organizations preferred.
- Experience overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit coordination, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and process improvement initiatives preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and performance management.
- Understanding of higher education financial operations, student billing, accounts receivable, and institutional loan administration.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including student financial aid processes and IRS Form 1098-T reporting.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, financial systems, and reporting tools.
- Experience developing dashboards, financial models, and executive-level presentations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

About the job:
The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for implementation, monitor and appropriate documentation of all regulatory agency (i.e. ODHHS, ODM, OIG) and other Mount Carmel Health System requirements related to credentialing of Mount Carmel Health Partners. Administrative functions include primary source verification of credentialing applications to include critical analysis of a provider's competence through assessment education and specific training. Serves as a credentialing liaison for Health Partners with all internal and external credentialing entities.
What we are looking for:
- Education: Associate degree in administration, health or behavioral science field preferred.
- Licensure / Certification: Certified Professional Credentialing Services (CPCS) and/or
- Certified Professional Medical Staff Services Management (CPMSM) certification preferred;
- (National Association of Medical Staff Services)
- Experience: Minimum of two years experience performing administrative duties.
- Experience working with physicians preferred. Credentialing experience preferred.
- Effective Communication Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Knowledge of basic and credentialing computer software including internet use and
- spreadsheets preferred.
- Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Cares for and monitors patients enrolled on both early and late phase clinical trials. Administers investigational products and standard chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic agents, and supportive care medication according to protocol, institutional policy, and safety guidelines. Manages patients based upon acuity utilizing the research acuity scale. Supports additional clinical research functions which include but are not limited to, attending Site Initiation Visits (SIV), collaborating with clinical research coordination team on clinical nursing reference sheets, clinical research support, and protocol implementation planning (PIP) meeting when there is no conflict with daily research infusions.
2. Performs protocol-specific assessments and monitor for adverse events, infusion reactions, and clinical changes. Reports findings per protocol and regulatory requirements. Collaborates closely with Principal Investigators, Clinical Research Coordinators, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate implementation of clinical trial protocols. Maintains thorough and accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and protocol specific activities in the electronic medical record (EMR) and research source documents. Participates in study startup activities such as infusion feasibility review, protocol education, and development of treatment orders and workflows. Collaborates with Clinical Research Coordination team on developing clinical nursing reference sheets/clinical research support to be used in tandem with the EMR for clinical documentation, protocol monitoring, and data collection.
3. Manages infusion-related logistic including scheduling, pre-medication administration, lab draws, IV access, and post-infusion monitoring. Maintains working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and institutional SOPs related to clinical trials. Educates patients and caregivers about clinical trials, treatment plans, potential side effects, and symptom management. Assists in protocol audits and data queries as needed.
4. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
5. Formulates a plan of care, including the timeliness of blood pharmacokinetics time points, monitoring parameters indicated per schedule of events and accuracy of the delivery of investigational products needed per clinical research protocol. Initiates a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data and the medical/research plan of care. Ensures goals for patient are realistic, measurable and developed in conjunction with the patient/family. Considers the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age specific and educational needs of the patient in the plan of are. Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team.
6. Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of the activities of the health care team. Provides care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements. Delegates appropriately and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for whom care is provided. Evaluates the patient's and family's response to care and effectiveness of teaching. Revises the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient’s status as needed. Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other health care team members.
7. Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record. Documentation on additional source documents will be required per clinical research protocols for extra level of monitoring for early phase clinical trials. Confirms documentation is legible, timely and in accordance with policy. Ensures documentation reflects objective/subjective data, nursing interventions and patient's response to treatment. Notes physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Provides care based on the best evidence available and may participate in research activities within clinical practice. Participates in unit or facility shared leadership. Interacts and participates in the education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel, patients, students, families and visitors. Promotes/supports growth of others through precepting and mentoring when appropriate. Contributes to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and safe care. Actively participates in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes. Such activities may include participating in professional organizations.
9.Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, including physicians, clinical research coordinators, patients, families, and external Sponsor contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, and agencies concerning the health care of the patient. Interacts with other health care providers in numerous settings to report and ask for or clarify information. Works with clergy to provide spiritual support. Synthesizes and prioritizes data from multiple sources to provide support for the human response of the patient and family to changes in health status.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
Must have 2-3 years of nursing or research experience in oncology, cardiology, neurology and in the acute care setting.
Knowledge of medical and clinical terminology. Excellent organizational and task management skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and study information. Pharmacists play a visible and impactful role in improving patient outcomes and reducing readmissions.
Administer immunizations and provide vaccine education to eligible patients, helping improve community health outcomes while expanding pharmacist-led preventive care services.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through medication therapy management, antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetic dosing, adverse drug event prevention, and evidence-based therapeutic recommendations.

The Sr. Director of Physician/Medical Group Financial Operations oversees and ensures the enhancement and development of accurate financial data and information in order to improve the organization's financial performance. Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Position Purpose:
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Patient Transporter transports patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility.
What you will do:
- Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested, including patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors and other equipment.
- Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department. Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
- Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Or attending High School
- Licensure / Certification: CPR “HeartSaver” Required by the end of orientation.
- Experience: Prior work experience in the health care field preferred.
- Effective Communication Skills
- Ability to lift and transport patients.
- Ability to withstand frequent to prolonged walking, standing, pushing and pulling.

Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care in an ambulatory setting, addressing the comprehensive needs of a diverse patient population. The RN collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to implement appropriate nursing interventions and patient education aligned with the overall plan of care.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN, diploma, or BSN)
Licensure:
- Current Indiana RN license or active RN license from another state with endorsement in progress
- CPR certification required upon hire or within 60 days
Experience:
- Minimum of six months of recent experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
- Experience across multiple clinical areas is also preferred
