What You’ll Do:
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am - 5pm and Wednesday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.
As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:
- Patient Services: Provides efficient, high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments or who telephone or visit in person to request appointments or information on tests and procedures, bills and charges, referrals, and other matters.
- Billing Services: Ensures entry at time of service of billing information on the patient and payer and accurate follow-up on missing information.
- Medical Record Services: Upholds standards of the practice and of the medical group for accurate and timely medical records.

At Aurora Podiatry in Sheboygan, WI, our podiatrists diagnose and treat a range of foot, ankle and lower leg problems. If you’re dealing with pain while walking, heel pain or ankle weakness, or if you’re experiencing other foot and ankle symptoms, our team of podiatry specialists can help. From common problems like bunions and ingrown toenails to more complex conditions such as fractures, arthritis and diabetic foot complications, our podiatry team is ready to help. As experts in foot, ankle and lower leg care, we collaborate closely with orthopedic specialists to ensure comprehensive care. We offer conservative treatments, including custom orthotics, physical therapy and rehabilitation, along with the most advanced surgical techniques and technologies available. We’ll also help you avoid future issues by offering guidance on proper foot and ankle care.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to function in a high volume, multiple-task environment, and in a crowded or closely shared workspace.
- Exposure to ill patients.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers.
- Must lift up to 35 pounds without help. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

This position has the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The CAPE program is a system-wide clinical advancement program (clinical ladder) to enhance professional development, provide a reward system for quality clinical performance, promote quality nursing, and improve job satisfaction for inpatient direct care nurses.
To apply for the next level, the CAPE nurse must meet the requirements of their current level. They must also meet the required years of nursing experience, degree, and certification to apply for the next level. In addition, nurses who are approved for levels 3, 4, 5, or 6 must complete and submit five competencies on an annual basis to maintain their current level.
Level 1
- No experience required
- All graduate nurses with less than 12 months of experience enter at Level one with a diploma, ADN, BSN, or higher
Level 2
- Meets requirements for previous level
- One year of experience.

Banner Estrella Observation Unit Description:
The Observation PCU Unit at Banner Estrella Medical Center strives to provide a highly coordinated experience for our patients; consistent care in providing ongoing short-term treatment, assessment and reassessment while a decision is being made whether further treatment is needed as a hospital inpatient. Seeing 50% of the patients from the ED, this is a fast pace unit where nurses and physicians work collaboratively to meet the needs of our patients. Up to 60 bed unit with monitored and un-monitored patients.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. This is a 31 bed Progressive Care Telemetry unit. We care for patients with various primary cardiac issues or stroke as well as patients with any primary issue that has a secondary cardiac issue that requires closer monitoring. - Monitor Cardiac Rhythms: Continuously observe patient cardiac rhythms and ensure accurate ECG readings are maintained.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the daily maintenance of all aspects of the Anesthesia team scheduling process to ensure availability of providers and resources. Serves as a liaison between facility departments and the Anesthesia team. This includes planning, strategizing, maintaining labor/staffing mix awareness, escalation of critical cases and problem solving. Ensures efficiency, accuracy, and quality customer service. This position is responsible for contributing to improved workflow processes, communications, and standards.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Understands and analyzes contract requirements to identify available clinical resources for a site. Demonstrates a sense of urgency, flexibility and a positive approach to problem solving within a fast-paced environment.
2. Works with site leadership directly or indirectly to compose a standard number of clinician schedules based on assigned contracts and needs to meet schedule requirements while minimizing excess compensation. Enters schedules into necessary systems and distributes as necessary within established guidelines. Escalates and coordinates excess clinical compensation requests to leadership and Provider Compensation as needed.
3. Keeps scheduling leadership, operations and site leadership apprised of schedule status on a regular basis, engaging their support as needed. Provides various reports to leadership as requested, on a timely basis. Communicates and escalates problems or concerns as appropriate.
4. Exhibits problem solving skills with scheduling team members to brainstorm issues, establish best practices, new approaches and provide support in filling shifts.
5. Coordinates, assigns, and executes lunches and breaks for all providers and CRNAs, ensuring seamless coverage and minimal disruptions to patient care.
6. Develops strong relationships with clinicians using various forms of communication to understand their needs and gain commitments to fill needed shifts. Communicates with providers, CRNAs, and support staff to ensure awareness of schedules, changes, and updates.
7. Establishes strong relationships with internal and external team members. Collaborates with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
8. Collaborates closely with Credentialing, enrollment, recruiting, payroll, and client administration to communicate schedules, communicate schedule status and/or escalate issues. Verifies new providers have completed the new hire/on-boarding process before scheduling for the first shift.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree in healthcare related field or equivalent working knowledge.
Requires skills and abilities typically attained by 4 years of surgery scheduling experience.

The Banner Health New Nurse Experience Program is a full-time Registered Nurse position that assists you in transitioning from a new graduate to a fully competent, professional nurse at Banner Health. Successful candidates will be placed in specific units at Banner Health facilities to be clinically mentored by unit staff and educators. Unit Overview:
In your role as a Progressive Care RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide care to patients within a three inpatient cardiac monitored unit, totaling 84 PCU beds. Bring your passion for patient care to this busy and fast-paced PCU unit that has a diverse demographic of higher acuity patients.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
2. Formulates a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family and health team input. Initiates a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data and the medical plan of care. Goals for patient are realistic, measurable and developed in conjunction with the patient/family. Considers the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age specific and educational needs of the patient in the plan of are. Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team. Reviews and revises the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient’s status.
3. Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of the activities of the health care team. Provides care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements. Delegates appropriately, and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for whom care is provided.
4. Evaluates the patient's and family's response to care and teaching, and revises the plan of care as needed. Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other health care team members. Evaluates patient's response and the effectiveness of patient teaching.
5. Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record. Documentation is legible, timely and in accordance with policy. Documentation reflects objective/subjective data, nursing interventions and patient's response to treatment. Notes physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Provides care based on the best evidence available and may participate in research activities within clinical practice. Participates in unit or facility shared leadership. Interacts and participates in the education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel, patients, students, families and visitors. Promotes/supports growth of others through precepting and mentoring when appropriate.
7. Contributes to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and safe care. Actively participates in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes. Such activities may include participating in professional organizations.
8. In some roles, this position may supervise staff and work flow of the department.
9.Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Interacts with other health care providers in numerous settings in order to report and ask for or clarify information. Also works with clergy to provide spiritual support. Synthesizes and prioritizes data from multiple sources to provide support for the human response of the patient and family to changes in health status.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations. Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. The position works to ensure an effective clinic flow, often interacting with patients to gather information that is used by others for their treatment and maintains complete and timely medical records and reports. They correspond with patients, their families, insurance providers, etc. in a professional and effective manner and demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with physician(s), utilizing the chain of command appropriately as needed. - Creates the initial electronic health record that serves as the foundation of the patient medical record that is utilized by all members of the healthcare team. Prevents creation of duplicate medical records that can cause treatment safety issues and billing problems. · Evaluates technical quality of images and consults with a Radiologist if needed. Recognizes abnormal anatomy and processes any additional, reconstructed images, and/or measurements as instructed.
· Performs basic patient care functions. Informs appropriate nursing personnel of any changes in the patient's condition. Initiates life support measures for patients when necessary. Assists in “code blue” procedures during medical emergencies.
· Performs MRI scanning and assists Physicians/PA during invasive procedures. Practices proper sterile technique in the preparation of necessary supplies. Performs all invasive procedures in accordance with bloodborne pathogens, isolation, and infection control policies and procedures.
· Is authorized to obtain medication or contrast material as directed for administration by a licensed practitioner.
·Practices principle of radiation safety for self, employees, patients and family members. Follows appropriate radiation safety standards
· Reports malfunctioning equipment to the department director/manager/supervisor and clinical engineering/radiology engineer.

· Operates radiology computer system to include entering orders and charging procedures/supplies. Documents contrast administration in the MAR.

Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies. Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation. Frequently may be required to stretch, bend twist, squat or kneel in the daily operation of the MRI department. May be exposed to various physical conditions throughout the day such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, being near moving equipment. Required to use radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure to ionizing radiation.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligible program required. ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI required within one year of hire. BLS required.
