5. Minimizes radiation exposure to self, patients and other staff by the use of shielding, collimation, application of the inverse square law, and minimizing repeat exposures.
6. Maintains an expertise in anatomy, physiology, and pathology relative to imaging in order to optimize the procedure and ensure patient care / safety.
7. Assesses patient’s needs and provides imaging related to comfort, hygiene, range of motion, and provides support accordingly.

The Clinical Quality Specialist will be an integral member of the Peak Health’s quality team. This position is responsible for overseeing performance improvement activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and other initiatives that lead to effective improvements in quality.In this role you will support the HEDIS program by assisting with medical record retrieval and abstraction, working closely with providers to ensure accurate and complete documentation and collaborating with the HEDIS Program Manager and Quality Manager to implement performance improvement initiatives. A Forensic Nurse (or SANE Nurse) is a registered nurse who is specially-trained to provide care for victims of sexual assault. The SANE documents the patient’s account of the assault, performs necessary medical exams and collects forensic samples that may be used in prosecution of the crime.SANEs are trained in both the physical and emotional aspects of caring for victims of sexual assault. SANEs collaborate with advocates from the local rape crisis centers who are available to provide resources and support to victims.
The SANE becomes an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and should be knowledgeable in the nursing process, forensic sample collection, victim’s needs and legal responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

To ensure accurate and appropriate gathering of information into the coding classification systems to meet departmental, hospital and outside agency requirements.
