In collaboration with Monongalia EMS Duty supervisor, this position will provide comprehensive coordination of non-emergency medical transport services. In addition to primary duties, this position will provide administrative and operational support in patient care documentation, logistics, supply chain, facilities and other administrative and operational areas.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid Driver’s License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Certified Dispatcher.
2. Current or previous medical certification or license (EMT, Paramedic, Clinical Associate, Medical Assistant, RN, etc.)
EXPERIENCE:
1. At least Two (2) years of experience as a dispatcher.
2. At least Two (2) years as a medical provider (EMT, Paramedic, Clinical Associate, Medical Assistant, RN, etc.)
3. Experience in the EMS industry.
4. Experience in Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems (Zoll and/or Zeurcher).
5. Experience in EMS billing, coding, and compliance.

They must also meet the required years of nursing experience, degree, and certification to apply for the next level. In addition, nurses who are approved for levels 3, 4, 5, or 6 must complete and submit five competencies on an annual basis to maintain their current level.

This position has the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. The incumbent accepts accountability, applies competent clinical knowledge skills, and uses independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by health care providers to whom care is delegated to achieve quality patient care outcomes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The CAPE program is a system-wide clinical advancement program (clinical ladder) to enhance professional development, provide a reward system for quality clinical performance, promote quality nursing, and improve job satisfaction for inpatient direct care nurses.
To apply for the next level, the CAPE nurse must meet the requirements of their current level. They must also meet the required years of nursing experience, degree, and certification to apply for the next level. In addition, nurses who are approved for levels 3, 4, 5, or 6 must complete and submit five competencies on an annual basis to maintain their current level.

- No experience required
- All graduate nurses with less than 12 months of experience enter at Level one with a diploma, ADN, BSN, or higher

14. Participates in program quality improvement initiatives for SP program and STEPS.
· Monitor SPs in real time and provide immediate feedback as appropriate.
· Provide SPs timely feedback on performance and remediation of SPs as needed under the guidance of the ADE.
· Collect student evaluations of SP sessions from course coordinators.
· Assist ADE in evaluating and ensuring program quality and determining areas of improvement. This includes reviewing video recordings for the purpose of quality assurance.
· Assists in collecting data for research purposes.
15. Participate in appropriate conferences and seminars for professional development.
16. Schedules or ensures scheduling of SPs according to required demographic and experience level.
17. Maintain SP database and scheduling software to ensure proper match of SPs to activities.
18. Works with Simulation Information Specialists to develop materials in LMS (LearningSpace) in preparation for activities.
19. Participates in the electronic recording of training sessions and examinations.
20. Manages the Gynecological Teaching Associates (GTA) and the Male Urological Teaching Associates (MUTA). and the Standardized Physical Exam Teaching Associates (SPETA) programs.
21. Manages program’s quality improvement initiatives.
22. Serves as recruiter and ambassador for the SP program housed within STEPS.
23. Oversees and operationalized the various aspects of the SP program.
24. Assists with budget development for SP program and oversee expenditures.
