WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Breast Imaging Radiologist for a Full-time position. The successful candidate will practice at Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of breast imaging to include interpretation of screening and diagnostic exams and performance of image-guided breast procedures
.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed Radiology residency program, as well as Breast Imaging fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Radiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

8. Prepares and/or transports patients and performs courier duties for the department. (i.e. interunit transfers)
9. Restocks and ensures adequate supplies for patient care such as isolation supplies, linen, etc. per unit.
10. Monitors and records temperature logs according to unit.
11. Maintains a neat and orderly nursing unit, hallway and utility room.

1. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations to limit drug diversion, including collecting prescription hard copies, reviewing government issued photo ID’ etc.
2. Assists and delivers packaged pharmaceuticals, supplies and equipment in a timely, safe and accountable manner.
3. Cooperates with other pharmacy staff members when planning and organizing daily delivery services.
4. Collects patient information to include: verification of person delivered to, signature and collection of payment information.
5. Maintains patient privacy at all times according to HIPAA and ensures security of Protected Health Information and Medications that are couriered.
6. Collaborates with pharmacy staff to collect appropriate prescription and patient information prior to dispensing medication.
7. Ensures patient’s prescription order is complete prior to delivery.
8. Ensures proper handling and storage of all medications (i.e. refrigeration).
9. Meets expectations for customer satisfaction and anticipates customer needs.
10. Follows up with Director or Manager on issues that cannot be resolved by coworkers or that require immediate attention. (i.e. inclement weather, company vehicle issues).
11. Handles customer complaints in a fair and empathetic manner.
12. Restocks delivery and shipping supplies in the AHS warehouse.
13. Notifies purchasing personnel when supplies are needed.
14. Performs on daily basis routine cleaning of vehicle and transport carriers.
15. Relays offer to counseling and additional information to patient/patient representative and have same validate acceptance/declination of offer.
16. Maintains records for items delivered and mailed from pharmacy including, but not limited to, prescriptions, supplies, and non-prescription medications; maintains logs for medication owed to patients in order to track correct disposition of owed medications.
17. Ensures that anyone not employed by the Pharmacy does not have access to nor is allowed in company vehicle during any delivery or in the presence of medications that have not been delivered to patients. (Exception for Vehicle Maintenance Staff).
18. Weekend call may be required as needed.
19. Certain duties cannot be assigned to the Courier because these duties or privileges can only be performed by pharmacists, interns, and technicians. These restrictions are regulated at state and federal levels and must be followed closely:
- Only pharmacists can receive oral prescriptions from prescribers or prescribers’ authorized designees.
(This refers primarily to new telephone prescriptions).
- Only pharmacists can consult with prescribers or prescribers’ designees about patients’ prescriptions.
- Only pharmacists can provide confidential patient information to other health professionals or insurance companies.
- Only pharmacists can check medications before dispensing them to patients. (In states where technicians can prepare or package prescriptions, they do so under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.)
- Only pharmacists can consult with patients about prescribed medication use and other health issues.
- Only pharmacist, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy interns may directly handle, count, and label medications
- Courier may only enter the pharmacy proper if accompanied by a pharmacist

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year experience in a long term care facility or hospital kitchen.

1. Prepares and delivers food trays in accordance with established diet therapy protocols
2. Fulfills daily/weekly cleaning duties as defined in daily job descriptions and weekly cleaning schedules.
3. Uses and handles chemicals according to present vendor guidelines. (Never mixes chemicals. Labels spray bottles and proper label.
4. Interprets patient enteral fee order and delivers appropriate product and tubing.
5. Adheres to Food Service polices for Infection Prevention, i.e., hand washing, hair covers, gloves, etc.
6. Works with Director and manager to standardize work methods.Communicates with dietitian regarding patient nutrition issues.
7. Assures dishes, pots and pans, silverware, etc. are properly cleaned and sanitized when working in the dishroom.
8. Visit patients for meal selections following diet order and patient preference.
9. Works with nursing to distribute patient meal trays assuring all patent are fed according to the most current diet prescription.
10. Assembles trays that are neat and appealing.
11. Assembles and distributes patient snacks.
12. Stocks work station/galley appropriately
13. Completes dishroom duties per protocol including weekly cleaning.

1. Must have ability to handle (lift and transport) cases of product such as multiple 20 pound cases of meat, frozen vegetables and #10 cans of product.
2. Visual acuity must be unimpaired.
3. Hearing within normal range is required.
4. Frequent walking, standing, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping are necessary body movements in Kitchen work.

1. Exposure to heat and humidity as well as cold.
2. Potential for burns from using ovens, fryers and hot pans of food.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Must have ability to follow oral and written instructions and to read and follow standardized recipes.
2. Must have basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
3. Must have working knowledge of table of measure.
4. Basic computer skills.
5 Concentrated mental activity is required to organize the work.
6. Must be able to respond to changes in work volume throughout the shift.
7. Must be able to work some holidays.
8. Must be able to adapt to sudden and frequent changes in work schedule.
