We’re looking for someone *Part Time (1-3 days)* with interest/experience in the medical field who is dependable and ready to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

We provide unique patient care and offer exposure to a broad scope of medicine, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking clinical hours for PA school or hands-on experience before pursuing Medical, PA, or Nursing school.*

We are small private practice located in Wells right near the beach! We truly are a family that believes healthcare should feel personal, welcoming, and fun! We work hard, support one another, and genuinely enjoy what we do.

Duties include:

* Compassionate and respectful with patients of all ages
* Dependable, organized, and able to multitask
* A positive team player who enjoys working in a close-knit office
* Room patients and obtain vital signs, medication history, allergies, chief complaints, and other relevant health information.
* Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture, including blood collection, proper tube selection, labeling, and specimen handling *(we will train on the job!)*
* Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and routine patient care.
* Process medication refill requests, verify medication information, and communicate with pharmacies and providers as needed.
* Complete and follow up on prior authorizations for medications, referrals and imaging *(will train!)*

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
