*What You’ll Do as a Pharmacy Director*
* Provide strategic and operational leadership for the WMC Pharmacy department
* Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance
* Lead and develop pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment
* Partner with pharmacy and system leadership to achieve financial targets and key performance metrics
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance service delivery
* Support human resource functions including staffing, performance management, and team development
* Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Promote adherence to UNC Health Appalachian policies, procedures, and standards of behavior
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required
* PharmD preferred
*Experience:*
* Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience required
* Prior leadership experience within a pharmacy department required (hospital setting preferred)
*Licenses/Certifications:*
* Active Pharmacist license in the State of North Carolina required
*Skills & Abilities:*
* Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy operations and leadership practices
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization

What You’ll Do as an RN (Nurse) - Case Management
Coordinate patient care by reviewing admissions and continued stays for clinical appropriateness
Assess effective resource utilization while promoting quality, safety, and positive patient outcomes
Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated care
Monitor patient outcomes and help identify and resolve barriers to effective care

Qualifications/Licenses
Graduate of a nursing program - ADN required; BSN preferred
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina

Morganton lies in Burke County, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The city is surrounded by mountain peaks, rivers and lakes. The area is ideal for camping, hiking, fishing, mountain biking and kayaking.

About Morganton
Morganton lies in Burke County, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The city is surrounded by mountain peaks, rivers and lakes. The area is ideal for camping, hiking, fishing, mountain biking and kayaking.
In Morganton and the surrounding areas, there are several festivals, historic sites and wineries. Fine arts and regional crafts are abundant. Downtown, you’ll find local shops and restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and a nice movie theater. The Morganton Greenway System offers several access points with parking leading to miles of paved trails along the Catawba River for walking, jogging and biking.
There are eleven city parks for public use within the city. For great shows and music, visit CoMMA, the City of Morganton Municipal Auditorium. Where You Will Work:
At the Millis Center teammates have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by educating and engaging students from preschool through fifth grade. Our educators teach a variety of fun, interactive health education classes designed to help students build healthy habits and make positive choices. Working with children is both rewarding and energizing and educators can have opportunities to teach off-site classes and participate in community events.
We’re Looking For:
Education Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required
- REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Health Education, Health Promotion, Community Health or related field
Experience Required/Preferred
- Preferred: 2 years' experience in health education or early childhood education.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, educators, families and community partners. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapt to different learning environments, and create fun, engaging educational experiences for students.
Job Specific Duties
- Industry Research updated health information to insure that the latest information is available to the classes at the Millis Regional Health Education Center.
- Participant Feedback File comments stated by MRHEC participants or visitors during or after programs or tours and respond, when appropriate.
- Community Health Fairs
- Assist Health Education Coordinator in coordination and staffing of children or adult community health fairs to promote MRHEC.
- Post-Program Performance
- Maintains average on returned post-program evaluations.
- Teamwork Work with administrative assistant and/or volunteer to assure group visit goes smoothly (setting up lunchrooms, theaters, WDP, give-a-ways)
Exhibit Operation
- Become familiar with procedures for operating all the equipment, exhibits and displays at MRHEC.
- Make sure all exhibits & displays in theatre and Wellness Discovery Place are in working order before programs.
- Report all malfunctions of equipment to Health Education Coordinator for maintenance &/or repair.
- Financial Awareness Work with volunteer & MRHEC assistant to assure program monies have been received & documented from visiting groups according to procedures.
- Special Events Teaches or participates in after-school, evening, and/or week-end events annually as needed.
