Pediatric Physical Therapist
Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy | Pooler, Georgia
*ROOTED IN OUR COMMUNITY*
15 Years of Growing With Savannah-Area Families
Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy was founded in 2011 by pediatric speech-language pathologist Beth Fleming.
What began as a small pediatric therapy practice has grown into a multidisciplinary team providing Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy to children and young adults throughout the Savannah-area community.
Over the years, we've grown, adapted, weathered challenges, and continued to invest in the children, families, and professionals who make this community special.
_We're not trying to be the biggest clinic in town._
We're focused on building a practice that provides excellent care, supports families, develops great clinicians, and remains a dependable part of our community for years to come.
*Help shape a pediatric PT program with clinical resources and the support of an established practice.*
Chatterbox is recruiting a physical therapist to help reestablish PT services alongside our speech-language pathology and occupational therapy team.
This opportunity offers a role in developing care that connects movement and mobility with children’s everyday participation.
*Resources for movement, mobility, and play*
You’ll have access to DMI equipment, a LiteGait system, and a large sensory gym.
Partner with leadership to develop PT workflows and use available resources to support individualized care, purposeful play, and caregiver priorities.
*Leadership with complementary clinical experience*
Chatterbox is led by Beth Fleming, M.S., CCC-SLP, CEO and Clinical & Executive Director, alongside her husband, Tim Fleming, Finance Director and licensed Orthotist/Prosthetist.
Beth has practiced as an SLP since 2009, founded Chatterbox in 2011, and remains involved in pediatric patient care. Tim continues to provide cranial helmet remolding services alongside Dr. Kumar in Savannah.
Together, they bring clinical and operational perspectives to practice leadership. You’ll collaborate with SLP and OT colleagues in a clinic that also provides feeding services.
*Paid work beyond face-to-face treatment*
We pay for actual direct-care hours and administrative work, including documentation, planning, caregiver communication, care coordination, and other assigned responsibilities.
*PT tier*
New graduate: $23.46/hour - $27.60/hour (Applies to Direct Clinical Care)
Experienced: $27.06/hour - $31.86/hour (Applies to Direct Clinical Care)
Administrative work: $18/hour (Applies to Documentation, Planning, Intedisciplinary Collaboration, etc)
Designated onboarding training: $15/hour
*How to Compare Our Compensation*
At Chatterbox, we pay for the whole job—not just treatment time.
We believe clinicians deserve to be compensated for the important work that happens both during and outside of therapy sessions.
Unlike positions that may advertise higher hourly rates exclusively for direct patient care, our compensation structure includes separate hourly rates for clinical treatment and administrative responsibilities.
What does that mean for you?
* *Direct clinical care:* $26–$38/hour, depending on experience and clinical competencies.
* *Paid administrative time: *$18/hour for documentation, treatment planning, collaboration and other administrative responsibilities.
* *Sustainable productivity:* Our full-time baseline is approximately 28 direct patient-care hours within a 40-hour workweek.
* *Additional earning potential:* Clinicians who choose heavier caseloads and meet established productivity expectations have opportunities to increase their earnings.
* *Generous paid time off: *Three weeks of PTO, nine paid holidays and one paid continuing education day.
* *Additional earning opportunity:* Eligible unused PTO may be cashed out at an enhanced rate, according to company policy.
_Lower initial onboarding rates may apply. Actual compensation depends on experience, clinical competencies, hours worked and applicable compensation policies._
*We encourage you to compare more than the advertised hourly rate.* Consider paid administrative time, productivity expectations, benefits and the total hours required to earn your compensation.
_Our goal isn't to advertise the highest rates in town. Instead, we strive to provide competitive compensation alongside realistic expectations, professional support and the opportunity to enjoy life outside of work._
*Build with practical support*
This is a W-2 employee opportunity with scheduling, referral coordination, billing, and administrative support.
During hiring, we will discuss the restart timeline, anticipated hours, caseload development, program responsibilities, and available discipline-specific clinical support. New graduate candidates will review proposed PT mentorship arrangements before accepting the position.
*Benefits for eligible employees include *QSEHRA health reimbursement, 401(k) matching up to 4% after one year, paid time off and holidays, and continuing education and licensure reimbursement. Technology and EMR access are provided. Eligibility and plan details are reviewed during hiring.
*Meaningful participation guides care*
We value relationships, regulation, purposeful play, and caregiver partnership. We support autonomy and goals that matter to children and families—from accessing a favorite toy to exploring a playground or participating in daily routines.
*Qualifications:* Degree from an accredited physical therapy program and Georgia licensure or eligibility. Pediatric experience, sound clinical judgment, collaboration, and interest in program development are valued.
*Get to Know Chatterbox: Our Story, Our Purpose & Our People*
We believe where you work matters just as much as the work you do.
Chatterbox was built on the belief that children deserve exceptional, individualized care, families deserve a true partner, and therapists deserve an environment where they feel valued, supported and inspired to grow.
But don't just take our word for it.
