Part-time (24 hours a pay period) NOC shift 1900-0730. Weekend and holiday rotation. Potential to increase FTE.
Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30Major Responsibilities:
- Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
- Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
- Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
- Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
- May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation.
- Pursues professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.
- Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics and practices ethical decision-making, respects interdisciplinary roles, and contributes to integrated, unbiased patient care.
- Appropriate delegation to other Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and unlicensed assistive personnel (i.e., nurse aides, credentialed medical assistants, etc.).
- Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
- May be required to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Minimum Job RequirementsÂ
Education
Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.Â
Certification / Registration / LicenseÂ
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.Â
- Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing servicesÂ
Note: Licensed nurses practicing via telehealth/telenursing/virtual modalities are required to be licensed or hold the privilege to practice in the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located. Licensed nurses are responsible and accountable for knowing, understanding, and practicing in compliance with the laws, rules, regulations, and standards of practice of the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located.Â
Experience

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.Â
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.Â
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.Â
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.Â
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.Â
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.Â
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.Â
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.Â
- Physical Abilities Testing may be required.Â

$38.20 - $57.30Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family care to support terminally ill patients and families in all hospice settings. Frequency of patient / family contacts will be at the discretion of the Case Manager and his/her assessment of need, but will be a minimum of every 15 days. The Case Manager utilizes teaching, assessment, and intervention skills to provide comfort care at end of life and maximize the quality of life for the patients and families.
Educates patients and families regarding disease processes and trajectory, disease management, hospice philosophies, signs and symptoms of decline and end of life. Updates the primary physician as indicated and according to agency, accreditation, state and federal requirements.
Responsible for continuous review of all aspects of every patient of her/his caseload to include appropriate utilization of services and the appropriate hospice level of care criteria are met. Makes referrals to other team members as appropriate.
Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
 Leads the interdisciplinary care group (IDG) specific to each patient and family on their caseload. Working within the IDG to develop, revise, and implement the patient’s Plan of Care. Coordinates all services and collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary team to provide consistent patient care. Arranges for and/or recommends equipment, medical supplies and other necessary items and services as indicated.
Enters, completes and updates documentation in the electronic health record as required according to agency/department standards and policies, accreditation, state and federal guidelines.
Documentation accurately records the patient’s experience with a combination of assessments and narrative  .
Provides on-going assessment of patient response to treatments, medications and teaching while making appropriate changes in interventions and follow-up to meet patient needs. Updates and revises POC as indicated with supportive documentation to changes. Communicates problems and changes in condition to physicians, supervisor and other members of the IDG. Enters verbal orders from the physician or APN into the Electronic Health Record.
Supervises and performs Home Health Aide and licensed practical nurse supervisory visits according to agency standards. Instructs paraprofessional staff on a timely basis and in accordance with agency, state and federal regulations.
Facilitates the discharge planning process according to agency standards and utilizes interagency/system and community resources to assure continuity of care after discharge.
WI ONLY: May conduct OASIS assessments for Palliative Care patient and establish and update the plan of care. May conduct hospice initial and comprehensive assessments and establish and update the plan of care. Ensures continued skilled nursing/home bound criteria are met. Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
Utilizes proper body mechanics, assistive devices and safety techniques when performing various patient positioning/repositioning and transporting duties, which require lifting, and pushing/pulling. Orients and mentors new staff as requested.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained upon hire unless department leader has determined it is not required, and
Driver license issued by the state of Wisconsin, or
Driver license issued by the state of Illinois.
Education Required:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 1-2 years of experience in nursing that includes experiences in home health, hospice, medical/surgical, long term care, emergency care/ICU or oncology or similar related experience. Â
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Competent in the principles of deformity prevention, normal range of motion, body mechanics and body alignment; and fundamental principles of human behavior and an understanding of the effects of stress upon individuals and groups.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting with orientation and training of new pharmacy technicians and students .
Assists with customer service and patient needs, including answering telephones, managing work queues and completing medication histories.
Maintains and supports medication distribution systems and distribution channels, including automated dispensing cabinets, code carts, trays and kits.
Prepares non-sterile compounded medications, including hazardous medications and cross trains in more advance functions when deem appropriate
Process medication charges/credits when applicable.

Prepares, fills, receives, delivers, stocks and restocks medication inventory and supplies for the pharmacy department and drug storage areas. Repackages bulk medications.

3CD is a 23 bed post-op surgical unit with 15 beds for Tele Patients. 75% of patients are admitted from PACU or as stepdown from Surgical ICU. This is a fast-paced, high acuity surgical unit specializing in Gastroenterology, Urology, Gynecology, and Plastic Surgery populations. This is a great unit for experienced Med-Surg nurses seeking to advance their skills and grow in their practice. It is also a great foundational unit for new graduate nurses who seek to eventually develop into more advanced clinical settings, such as ICU, ED, OR, and NP. We are a strong performing inpatient unit as measured by their Nurse Sensitive Indicators and Patient Experience scores. 3CD team members are committed to excellent clinical practice and patient outcomes. Where You Will Work:Â
The Same Day Interventional Surgery unit at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is a 41 bed cardiac patient-focused unit, with 33 beds primarily supporting post‑procedural care for Cath Lab, EP, and IR patients, and 8 beds designated for the Cardiac Observation Unit. Supporting patients undergoing scheduled interventional and procedural care who are expected to be discharged the same day. The unit focuses on pre‑procedure preparation, post‑procedure monitoring, and discharge coordination for patients receiving minimally invasive or image‑guided interventions. The unit operates 24 hours solely to support observation patients and secures overnight at 10:30 pm. Procedural patients are monitored following moderate sedation, with some requiring overnight stays.

As part of a collaborative team of 10 PAs, you’ll work on a rotating schedule designed to balance coverage and flexibility. While the schedule may vary based on service needs, the general expectation is three 12-hour shifts per week.
Within each 6-week period, you can anticipate:
- Weekend Coverage: 3–4 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday)
- Night Coverage: 4–5 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Clinical responsibilities:
Assesses, diagnoses, and determines/alters treatment and management plans appropriate for age, acuity and clinical condition. This includes ordering, performing, and interpreting appropriate diagnostic studies and prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions and therapies.
Manages conditions based on clinical indication, evidence-based care, cost effectiveness, and assessment of risks/benefits and alternatives.
Provides health promotion, disease prevention and disease management counseling and education of patients and families.
Manages patients as part of an interdisciplinary team and within scope of practice. Seeks physician or other healthcare team member consultation or referrals as appropriate. Escalates need for more emergent or specialized care when necessary.
Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Substantiates and submits professional services consistent with compliant coding and billing practices.

The unit specializes in the care of adult patients requiring pre- and post-operative management for general surgical procedures (e.g. urologic surgeries, abdominal surgeries, gynecologic surgeries etc.), as well as those with a wide range of medical conditions. Nurses and nursing assistants work 12-hour shifts, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, supporting consistent, team-based patient care delivery.
Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
- Uses the nursing process to assess the needs of the patient, plan and implement individualized interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care. Includes the patient and family in planning and implementing care and develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum.
- Anticipates and recognizes significant changes in the patient’s condition, status, and need for care. Provides ongoing assessment of the patient and takes appropriate actions when changes occur. Summary:
The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. The PFSR engages with the patient or guarantor to obtain pertinent information and answer any questions in an effort to ensure that all required demographic, financial, and insurance eligibility information is gathered and verified. Ensures all required notices and consent forms are signed accordingly.
Responsibilities:
Explains polices including all regulatory and financial consent forms; secures all required signatures.May perform patient discharge functions including, but not limited to, review of after visit summary (AVS), future appointment scheduling, and referrals.Interviews patients and guarantors at the workstation or bedside to obtain all necessary information, including a copy of the patient or guarantor identification card.Provides exceptional customer service and ensures all questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and courteous manner. May guide the patient to appropriate destination for services.May confirm physician and prescription orders ensuring accuracy.Obtains pre-certification and authorization.May schedule walk-in appointments for services offered.Collects patient out-of-pocket responsibility per collection guidelines. Provides patient estimates as requested. Prepares and balances a daily deposit of all payment collections.Verifies insurance benefits including obtaining insurance card(s) and confirms coverage is active.
