Summary:
The Clinical Exercise Physiologist provides exercise and fitness screening, testing, and counseling and develops and implements exercise prescriptions for patients with chronic diseases. This role demonstrates skill in assessing patient response to exercise, modifies exercise plans to meet individual needs, and generates clinical documentation that meets all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates patient progress in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Medical Fitness programs. Recommends appropriate modifications to exercise prescriptions. Reassesses and documents 30-day patient progress and medical fitness reports in compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) time requirements.Conducts and evaluates clinical stress tests, performing continuous patient assessment through electrocardiogram monitoring and observation of physiological responses, including symptoms, appearance, heart rate, and blood pressure.Develops and documents discharge treatment plan with patient (and his/her family), physician and rehab staff.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.Delivers high-quality patient care by assessing goals and needs through intake evaluations and test result interpretation, developing safe and effective exercise prescriptions, and creating and documenting individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders, medical history, patient limitations, and goals.Delivers inpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services by assessing patient eligibility, providing education, and developing and implementing individualized exercise prescriptions as appropriate. Facilitates referrals for enrollment in outpatient cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation and medical fitness programs.Supports patients in executing individualized treatment plans and exercise prescriptions by instructing, motivating, and assisting them with prescribed physical activities.Provides inpatient exercise physiology services in collaboration with physicians and clinical staff.

Minimum Job Requirements Education:
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Certification / Registration / License:
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.
- Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services

Clinical Health Psychologist - Parkinson's and Movement Disorders SpecialtyThe Division of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The University of Kansas Health System is seeking applications for a Clinical Health Psychologist – Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Specialty to serve individuals as part of our interdisciplinary Parkinson’s and movement disorders team, which includes neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, dietetics, research, social work, physical therapy, and speech & language pathology. The individual selected for this position will join a rapidly growing, 24-member Psychology Division at the Assistant Professor level.
Key Responsibilities:
This position includes assessment, treatment, psychoeducation, and triage of outpatients with mental health needs; presurgical psychological evaluations for patients preparing for neurosurgical procedures, including deep brain stimulation (DBS); and the provision of evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy targeting physical symptoms and medical condition management.
The successful candidate will participate in the education and supervision of psychology interns within our APA-accredited training program and provide additional didactic instruction and supervision to medical fellows, residents, and students. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with faculty on scholarly activities and providing health education and outreach to the local Parkinson's disease community.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program (with an APA approved clinical internship)
- One-year of relevant post-doctoral experience in health psychology
- Must be fully licensed or licensable in the State of Kansas (primary) and Missouri by the time of the appointment

- Experience working on a multidisciplinary team

Hospice RNs position summary
Our Hospice RNs provides professional nursing care to the organization’s hospice clients as prescribed by the physician, and/or requested by the client/family, and in compliance with the state’s Nurse Practice Act, any applicable licensure/certification requirements, and the organization’s policies and procedures. The RN is fully responsible for the client assessment, care planning, therapeutic intervention, and overall supervision of client care and outcomes, is designated as the case manager for hospice patients. The Hospice RN in collaboration with the physician and other Hospice team members anticipates and manages patient’s symptoms, assists in identifying pt/family/caregiver grief/loss issues and assists in implementing the Hospice plan of care. Provides functional support to Hospice Aides and LPN/LVNs as needed.

Minimum qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a professional acute care nurse.
- Home healthcare/hospice experience preferred.
- Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a special emphasis on grief/loss management.
- Must have current Driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work site.

Join the experienced Neurosurgery team at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, a nationally recognized community-based teaching hospital serving the western suburbs of Chicago. The hospital is known for its advanced neuroscience services, multidisciplinary approach to patient care, and commitment to clinical excellence. APPs work closely with neurosurgeons, specialty physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse neurosurgical patient population, including cranial, spinal, trauma, and complex neurological cases in a inpatient and consultative settings. APPs are supported by a highly skilled team and have the opportunity to develop advanced clinical expertise while caring for patients throughout the continuum of neurosurgical care.

$54.90 - $82.35MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical responsibilities:
Assesses, diagnoses, and determines/alters treatment and management plans appropriate for age, acuity and clinical condition. This includes ordering, performing, and interpreting appropriate diagnostic studies and prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions and therapies.
Manages conditions based on clinical indication, evidence-based care, cost effectiveness, and assessment of risks/benefits and alternatives.
Provides health promotion, disease prevention and disease management counseling and education of patients and families.
Manages patients as part of an interdisciplinary team and within scope of practice. Seeks physician or other healthcare team member consultation or referrals as appropriate. Escalates need for more emergent or specialized care when necessary.
Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Substantiates and submits professional services consistent with compliant coding and billing practices.

- Responsible for directing the operations of stroke center(s) including integrating operational and clinical management, providing a full continuum of stroke care. Develop service strategies to achieve and maintain national benchmarks and best practices for stroke patients.
- Maintains and promotes effective relationships with and between each stroke center. Acts as a liaison between stroke coordinators and administrative and medical leadership. Facilitates and coordinates local stroke committees.
- Oversee the Comprehensive/Primary Stroke Center certification in collaboration with the Director, Stroke Quality staff, and Stroke Program Medical Director. This includes oversight of submission of applications, reports, action plans and coordination of onsite certification visits.
- Ensures current clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) are incorporated into the care of the acute stroke patient. Partners with the Stroke Program Medical Director, nursing leadership and other hospital leaders to incorporate CPGs into refinement of acute stroke response algorithms, review of order sets, care plans and policy/procedures. Establishes annual stroke program goals, in collaboration with the Stroke Program Medical Director and the Core Stroke Committee. This includes development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies to achieve the annual goals.
- Co-chairs site-based stroke committees with key stroke team members. Supports and ensures committees complete all assignments. Coordinates and facilitates quarterly site stroke steering committees. Participates and supports system stroke Practice and System Stroke Education committees. Acts as a liaison between the stat/stroke responders, ED personnel, Inpatient units, stroke NPs, Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute clinic and hospital- based stroke program.
- Collaborates with Stroke Program Medical Director and Stroke Quality team to establish the quality improvement plans. Oversee improvements in stroke quality outcomes/measures. Reports quality data to the Quality and Safety Council annually. Analyzes stroke data and facilitates corrective action. This includes reviewing and revising tools used for rounding, concurrent review and tracers.
- Provides input, direction and expertise in the development, application, and evaluation of orientation and continuing education programs. Coaches staff to assist in identification of their goals to advance practice and career advancement. Develop a plan with employees for achievement of identified goals. Assists personnel in areas where deficits are identified. Assists personnel in identification of areas of growth.
- Coordinates/manages all resources necessary to optimally provide care. This includes the availability of staff resources, patient educational supplies, and stroke office supplies. Registered Nurse ( RN ) - Emergency Department ( ED ) - Full-time 12D (7a-7p)Under general supervision and in accordance with the policies, procedures and guidelines established within the organization, the unit, and the Michigan Public Health Code, the registered nurse manages the care delivery for patients in the organization throughout the length of stay to achieve quality outcomes and timely discharge by the following: utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, diagnosing, implementation and evaluation; coordinating the care provided by other professionals; delegating selected acts, tasks or functions that fall within the scope of professional nursing practice and the abilities of patient care assistants and universal service assistants; providing selected aspects of physical care within the scope of professional nursing practice as appropriate given the patient's level of acuity and complexity of care required; and documenting and communicating during each tour of duty the patient's response to care provided, consumption of resources and anticipated needs. Emergency Department: SALT triage, ESI Triage, and NIH Stroke Scale to be completed within 90 days of hire date. Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC only required for FT and part -time nurses) within 6 months of hire date. Special Care Unit: All nurses in department will need to have Pediatric Advance Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
RNs in Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby/Antepartum at BMH & BBC Specific: The Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification through PQF or NCC is required within 6 months of completing intermediate fetal monitoring

Bronson South Haven Hospital and Bronson Lakeview Hospital employees who are approved to work in a Swing Bed Facility only: Employees may be expected to cover shifts at Bronson Lakeview Hospital and/or Bronson South Haven Hospital depending on patient acuity and staffing needs.
Virtual Registered Nurse (VRN) Role: The virtual registered nurse leverages technology to deliver patient care remotely, collaborating with bedside staff and the broader care team to ensure quality outcomes and timely discharge. Core responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Conducting admission screening, patient/family education, discharge planning, and medication dual acknowledgments via secure digital platforms.
- Completing diagnostic testing questionnaires and supporting patient safety initiatives.
