We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our vibrant dental team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, patient education, and assisting with various clinical procedures. Your expertise will help ensure our patients enjoy optimal oral health in a welcoming and professional environment. *Duties*

* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient experience
* Take and develop medical imaging such as digital X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
* Monitor vital signs and assess patient health status prior to treatment, documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR systems)
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using clear dental terminology
* Review and update medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
* Maintain a sterile environment by following infection control standards and managing dental instruments with precision

*Qualifications*

* Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with current certification to practice
* Experience in general dentistry settings with a focus on patient care, assessment, and charting
* Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures in a dental clinic environment
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, demonstrating compassion and professionalism
