*About Us*

Speechful Therapy Services provides pediatric speech and language therapy services to children and families in the Long Beach area.

*Contract Opportunity*

We are seeking a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech and language services on an independent contract basis.

The clinician will exercise independent professional and clinical judgment in the delivery of services and will have flexibility in determining their availability and accepting assignments consistent with the terms of the independent contractor agreement.

*Scope of Services*

Contracted services may include:

* Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings.
* Developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and client needs.
* Providing speech and language therapy within the clinician's professional scope of practice.
* Monitoring client progress and modifying treatment recommendations as clinically appropriate.
* Providing education and recommendations to parents and caregivers.
* Completing required clinical documentation.
* Communicating with families and other professionals when clinically appropriate.

*Contractor Qualifications*

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
* Current and unrestricted California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
* Professional liability insurance.
* Experience providing pediatric speech and language services preferred.
* Ability to exercise independent clinical judgment.
* Ability to maintain required professional documentation and records.
* Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

*Availability*

There is a current need for services during weekday mornings /afternoons.

Contractors provide their own availability and may accept services based on their availability and the terms of the contractor agreement.

Hybrid service opportunities may be available depending on client needs and applicable requirements.

*Compensation*

$65.00–$72.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and contracted services.

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity and not an employee position.

Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licenses, and other business expenses and obligations associated with their independent practice.

Base Pay: $65.00 - $72.00 per hour
