Job Summary:
As a Nurse Manager, you provide leadership and oversee the daily operations of the patient care area at ProMedica.
In this role, you work with leadership and staff to plan and provide quality, consistent patient care and services. You will manage the unit organization and ensure compliance, integrate safety and quality measures, and promote evidence-based and ethical care.
You will interview and hire new employees and coordinate their orientation with the Unit Clinical Educator.

A Patient Care Tech (PCT) at ProMedica plays a vital role in the health and safety of our patients every day. From caring for patients to performing clerical services, a PCT helps all members of the
ProMedica health care team while complying with standards, procedures and policies. A PCT is a genuine ambassador for ProMedica as they interact with patients, visitors and co-workers.
The PCT assists the patient care team with exams, procedures, obtaining patient data and other processes related to direct patient care. The PCT also ensures an appropriate stock of supplies and equipment is available and functioning properly.
In this role, you will perform tasks related to scheduling procedures, coordinating admission as well as discharge and transfer processes. PCTs answer phones, take messages and direct calls. You will also pick up and delivers specimens, documents and other items to contribute to operational efficiency.

The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS
- Current State license as a Registered Nurse
Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
