*Position Overview:*

We are currently seeking an experienced Acute Care APRN / PA to join our Hospitalist Group in Midwest City, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care, be committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is a nocturnist position, providing coverage during overnight hours.

*Responsibilities:*

*Patient Care:*

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in the hospital setting.
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

*Nocturnist Coverage:*

* Provide 7am-7pm coverage during daytime hours, ensuring continuous and effective patient care.
* Manage and coordinate admissions consultations as needed.
* Manage all acute care Patients oversighting their care and Plans.

*Collaboration and Communication:*

* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to deliver seamless patient care.
* Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and addressing concerns.

*Quality Improvement:*

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
* Stay updated on current medical literature and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

*Qualifications:*

* Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification.
* Current and unrestricted APRN or PA license in the state of Oklahoma.
* Minimum of 1 years of experience in acute care or hospitalist settings preferred but not required.
* Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*Job Type: *Full Time *– *12 Hours Shift
*Schedule Type: *7 days ON and 7 days OFF (7AM-7PM)
