Company: Therapy Solutions – Neurological & Cognitive Rehabilitation
Location: Petoskey, MI (Emmet County)
An easy commute from Gaylord, Charlevoix, Boyne City or Cheboygan.
Caseload: Primarily Adult Neuro & Cognitive Rehab (approx. 80%) with a selective Pediatric population (approx. 20%)
Setting: Private Practice Clinic
*About the Role: Escape the Burnout Grid*
Are you tired of chasing 85–90% productivity metrics in a rigid corporate environment? Are you looking for a role where you can actually spend quality, one-on-one time with your patients?
Our established, since 2003, private practice in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan, is seeking a passionate, versatile full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Unlike regional corporations, we reject the assembly-line model of care. We believe that true rehabilitation requires deep connection, creative autonomy, and reasonable schedules.
In this role, your primary focus will be on meaningful adult neurological and cognitive rehabilitation, making up approximately 80% of your caseload. You will work directly with individuals experiencing stroke recovery, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), dysphasia, cognitive decline and more. The remaining 20% allows you to shift gears into rewarding, play-based pediatric articulation and developmental therapy, giving you a uniquely diverse yet focused clinical experience right here in Northern Michigan.
*Why Choose Our Private Practice?*
True Work-Life Balance: Always paid for an 8-hour day with absolutely zero unrealistic productivity standard pressures.
Built-In Catch Up Time: Every full-time schedule includes at least 1 hour of fully paid documentation time daily, ensuring timely note completion.
Clinical Autonomy: Complete freedom to design personalized, play-based pediatric sessions or functional adult rehab programs using our extensive suite of creative testing and therapy resources. We have a great selection of over 6 cognitive assessments and large selection of treatment materials pre-made and ready to use.
Community Connection: Work in a supportive, collaborative team environment right in the heart of Northern Michigan.
*Key Responsibilities*
Provide functional rehabilitation for adult patients recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), or managing dysphasia and cognitive decline.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement evidence-based treatment plans for a select pediatric caseload (language delays, feeding, autism spectrum disorders).
Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation using our streamlined EMR system during your dedicated daily paperwork hour.
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and our internal multidisciplinary therapy team to maximize patient outcomes.
*Compensation & Premium Benefits Package*
Competitive Pay tailored to clinical experience and insurance-model market rates.
Health Insurance options.
Paid Time Off (PTO) plus paid holidays to ensure you can enjoy the Petoskey lifestyle.
*To Apply*
If you are ready to transition your clinical expertise into a setting that values your sanity as much as your skills, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience with pediatric and/or adult populations. Come live, work, and thrive "Up North"!
_New grads are welcome to apply, as we appreciate their current knowledge and experiences._
[email protected]
Benefits:
* Health insurance
* Paid time off

At Woven Care, we're a multidisciplinary pediatric outpatient practice dedicated to helping children and families thrive. We're looking to hire clinicians who want to collaborate with a strong team and are ready to grow. To attract and retain this kind of team, we do things a bit differently: prioritizing manageable caseloads to cut back on burnout, providing administrative task support so clients remain the focus, and supporting our team with mentorship, learning opportunities and real career growth.
What Your Day Looks Like
You will join a team who loves what they do and are excited to learn and grow alongside you. Our multidisciplinary model means you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with Speech, OT, and ABA, gaining new perspectives and building a richer understanding of every child you serve.
Day to day, you can expect 30-60 minute one- to- one sessions that foster strong client and caregiver relationships, up to two evaluations per week that keep the work varied and engaging and built in documentation time so your evenings and weekends are yours to recharge. Teammates can expect a productivity of 72.50% of their day.
What We're Offering
Schedule that fits your life
Four- or five-day work weeks, part-time options, flex days. Autonomy for you to build a schedule around your life!
Student loan repayment
Partnering with SoFi, we provide you with $200/month right to the heart of your principal loan amount! Added over your tenure with Woven Care, this benefit can save tens of thousands of dollars and years off your loan.
Growth opportunities from the start
We want to hire clinicians who never stop learning; that's why we've built a program that prioritizes professional growth and learning opportunities throughout your career. You'll have access to:
$250 CEU reimbursement, increasing up to $1,500 annually with tenure
Woven's Clinical Advancement Program, where eligible clinicians receive full funding for specialty certifications, including PTO, travel, and lodging
Compensation flexibility
Choose a model that works for you! Salary ($83,000–$88,000) or pay-per-billed-visit ($70-$72/hour, $90/eval). We'll explain both models clearly so you can choose what makes sense for how you want to work. Bilingual? Enjoy an additional 2% on top of your compensation!
Performance-based monthly bonus
We reward your hard work! Earn $250 or $750 per month or up to $9,000 in annual performance incentives!
Sign-on bonus
Up to $7,000 in bonus.
Benefits options

Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Colorado DORA PT license, or eligible to obtain
2-5 years of experience

We offer real flexibility and manageable workloads for our team, while supporting our mission through collaboration and connection. We think this is what makes Woven Care such a special place to work and why such special people choose to work with us!
