Our outpatient APPs also work collaboratively with our inpatient APPs to ensure excellent hospital follow-up for patients needing our services. While inpatient, the APP will see hospitalized patients in collaboration with the gastroenterology attending physicians. The inpatient GI service is primarily a consultation service offering recommendations to the primary team (general pediatrics, PICU, Cardiology, NICU or hematology/oncology), but at times it has primary patients. The candidate will have excellent mentorship from current experienced GI APP's and supportive supervising physicians.
