Education and Experience:
Required - Board certified or eligible for certification in physician’s primary specialty
Licensed Practicing Provider MD/DO
Credentialed and willing to maintain clinical practice
Job Duties
Examine the health of a patient to help make proper diagnosis of clinical conditions and prescribing medication, treatments, and follow-up care as required.
Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions
Provide care directly and indirectly by working with other members of an interdisciplinary team to formulate treatment plans.
Timely record patient encounters in Electronic Health Record
Request further medical evaluations and make referrals, as necessary.
Understand and commit to the highest standards of professionalism; willingness to hold others to those standards.
Commit to collaboration with all members of the department to provide quality patient care.
Ensure accurate coding of all patient visits.
Comply with policies, procedures, bylaws, processes of privileging/credentialing, and standards of care that are conducive to the provision of high-quality medical services consistent with accreditation standards, state and federal licensure or regulations, Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulations, guidelines, requirements, and statutes as applicable.

Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. Position Summary

Responsibilities

- You will deliver and execute upon daily routine care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups utilizing your strong interpersonal skills
- You will assist the Registered Nurse or care team in implementing the nursing process
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS certification
- License to pass medications may be required
- Previous LPN experience in an acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred
- Experience in assigned specialty, or successful completion of a specialty focused residency post hire
- Successful completion of appropriate competencies for assigned specialty

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $35.03 - $53.31 USD. At Houston Methodist, the Registered Nurse (RN) II position is a licensed staff nurse, an experienced clinician, functions at the Competent to Proficient stage of Benner's model of clinical practice. The RN II position provides professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. The RN II position provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently which may include patients with varied and complex needs. 3K Medical Observation is a 22-bed observation unit. Our patients are here for a variety of behavioral health reasons requiring hospitalization. On 3K we do cohort most of the children at Levine Children's Hospital with a mental/behavioral health diagnosis. However, because we are a medical observation unit, we can also care for patients with a 1-2 day stay in the hospital. Majority of these diagnosis include IV hydration, rule out sepsis, ortho observation, and surgical observation.

About our program:
The Banner Health New Nurse Experience is a full-time Registered Nurse position that assists you in transitioning from a new graduate to a fully competent, professional nurse at Banner Health. This program provides a collaborative learning environment in which you can refine your nursing skills, enhance your knowledge, and develop new personal and professional relationships.
Successful candidates will be placed in specific units at Banner Health facilities to be clinically mentored by unit staff and educators. We offer all of our New Grads multiple Career Pathways and development opportunities to achieve your long-term career goals. POSITION SUMMARY

6. Routinely monitors service schedules. Adjusts appropriately to maximize effective, efficient patient flow through intradepartmental lab, clinic or infusion center.
7. Attends inpatient /discharge rounds, tumor boards, etc., as appropriate to obtain necessary information for communication with other departments/agencies regarding patient status and health care needs.
8. Coordinates long- term follow up of patients with their local/referring physicians.
9. Maintains a retrievable patient list that includes key information such as, but not limited to name, DOB, patient status, treatment plan status.
10. Maintains written/verbal communication with referring institutions and physicians.

Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist provides diagnostic imaging services using radiographic and fluoroscopic technology to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. This role performs imaging procedures, image processing, and related techniques to produce high-quality images for interpretation by a radiologist or licensed independent practitioner. The Radiologic Technologist applies professional judgment, upholds high ethical standards, and adapts to varying patient conditions to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality exams.
- Executes ionizing radiation to patients to take x-ray images in the safest manner possible.
- Prepares room, equipment, and materials as needed for patients daily.
- Participates in CQI activities and provides input for improvement.
- Provides directions to patients regarding radiologic exams. Provides education to patients regarding their ordered exams.
- Cleans and disinfects x-ray room and equipment after each exam.
- Maintains adequate and proper records.
- Prepares barium and other chemical mixtures for x-rays.
- Must pass initial competency test and yearly competency testing thereafter.
- Will assume other duties applicable to the operation of the Radiology Department as needed. Demonstrates flexibility of working hours to assure 24-hour departmental coverage, which may include on-call duty.
- Must maintain current BLS.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registration or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current Radiation Operators Certification with the Kentucky Department of Human Resources
- BLS required.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.18 - $31.68 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. This job evaluates patients and provides inpatient occupational therapy treatment programs based upon physician orders from inpatient providers. 4 Tower is a Hematology Oncology and Oncology ICU at Carolinas Medical Center. We have 30 beds, 8 of which are ICU capable. We care for patients with Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma, during initial diagnosis, chemotherapy administration, neutropenic fevers, and complications that result in hospital admission. In our ICU beds, we care for any oncology patient that needs a higher level of care, hematology, solid tumor, and post stem cell transplants. Our patients tend to have multiple admissions for chemotherapy or stay inpatient for an extended period, as a result, the patients and their families build relationships and show appreciation for the care the nurses provide during this incredibly difficult time in their lives. 4 Tower is known for incredible teamwork, empathetic nursing staff, and opportunities to grow and learn from experienced nurses and providers (APPs and Physicians).
We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 6 months of RN experience
