Position Summary
The Security Officer is a key position on our Security Services team. In this role, you provide protection over MultiCare Health System properties and facilities. You will own the responsibility for the security and safety of MultiCare patients, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general security in the protection of people and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations.
- Deter criminal activity and misconduct utilizing tactical techniques.
- Utilize Management of Aggressive Behavior skills both verbally and physically as required.
- Apply the concepts of Awareness, Vigilance, Avoidance, Defense, and Escape to effectively protect and serve facility campus.
- Utilize weapons detection devices to monitor patients/visitors and ensuring the removal of contraband from facility.
- Apply appropriate techniques with assistive devices when engaging with combative/aggressive individuals.
- Effectively operate/leverage required security equipment and tools.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Current Washington or Idaho state driver’s license (driving is not required for this position at Navos Hospital).
- IAHSS basic certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire date.
- Minimum six (6) months of experience in police, military, or security, preferable in a health care setting.
- Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state. (Not required at Navos Hospital)
- BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- First Aid training within 30 days of hire.

Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician Specialist Haz Compound assists in performing manipulative and non-discretionary functions associated with the practice of pharmacy. The technician works with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care to oncology and non-oncology infusion patients. Responsibilities may include coordination of equipment and supplies. The technician will have additional knowledge and skill in the ability to follow mixing formulations and the use of specialized compounding equipment, mixing techniques, and hazardous chemicals. Knowledgeable in the rules and regulations specific to the practice of sterile extemporaneous compounding is required.
Requirements
- Successful completion of WA Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program
- Current Washington State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
- Experience in IV sterile compounding, both hazardous and non-hazardous
- Hospital experience preferred

- In lieu of formal training, candidates with a nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) and/or a minimum of one (1) year of recent sterile processing experience preferred

Position Summary
MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner (ARNP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our Mary Bridge Emergency Department (ED) team: Our hospital serves as one of the two level 2 pediatric trauma centers in the State of Washington and is staffed by fellowship trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine attendings, APPs and dedicated pediatric nurses. (Resident physicians and APPs trainees also rotate through the MBH ED.) The APP candidate should be someone who works well in a fast paced, busy and somewhat unpredictable clinical environment and who can act independently as well as with a team. The APP will function as a physician dyad working collaboratively with our emergency team to evaluate and treat ill and injured children.Responsibilities • Provide medical care to the full complement of pediatric patient ages 0 days to 21 years with diverse medical and traumatic chief complaints • Serve as a member of the team supervised by a PEM physician assessing, initiating care and providing treatment for all patients from low to complex, higher acuity patients including acting as a member of the ED trauma team • Perform procedures including but not limited to laceration repair, abscess incision & drainage, lumbar puncture, splint and/or cast application, airway management • Participate in department meetings, education and quality and performance improvement activities as needed Requirements • 2 years of experience as a licensed ARNP/PA in pediatric health care • Washington State Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

- Deter criminal activity and misconduct utilizing tactical techniques.

- Utilize weapons detection devices to monitor patients/visitors and ensuring the removal of contraband from facility.

- Effectively operate/leverage required security equipment and tools.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Current Washington or Idaho state driver’s license (driving is not required for this position at Navos Hospital).
- IAHSS basic certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire date.
- Minimum six (6) months of experience in police, military, or security, preferable in a health care setting.
- Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state. (Not required at Navos Hospital)
- BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Provides clinical leadership and oversight of the MCI Urologic Oncology program. This person ensures high standards of care and compliance with medical guidelines. They work closely with the operational director in developing and implementing the overall services, operations and objectives. Position Summary
The Nurse Navigator RN is a multi-faceted opportunity providing comprehensive services to patients throughout our health care continuum. Working within hybrid roles of registered nurse, case manager and patient liaison, this dynamic role offers you the room to self-direct and prioritize.
As Nurse Navigator RN at MultiCare, you will utilize your advanced knowledge and specialized skill sets to oversee the clinical, quality and cost-effective outcomes of our patient population.
Responsibilities
- You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing

- You will engage your critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, including knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data

Requirements

- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Certification specific to area of hiring, highly desirable. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Certified Case Manager (CCMC), Accredited Case Manager (ACMA), Care Coordination and Transition Management (AAACN), Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN), or similar.
- Three to five (3-5) years of recent clinical experience in area of specialty required
- Current BLS certification

- Utilize weapons detection devices to monitor patients/visitors and ensuring the removal of contraband from facility.
- Apply appropriate techniques with assistive devices when engaging with combative/aggressive individuals.
- Effectively operate/leverage required security equipment and tools.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Current Washington or Idaho state driver’s license (driving is not required for this position at Navos Hospital).
- IAHSS basic certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire date.
- Minimum six (6) months of experience in police, military, or security, preferable in a health care setting.
- Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state. (Not required at Navos Hospital)
- BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- First Aid training within 30 days of hire.
