Position Summary

The Imaging Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of pediatric and adult patients for all Imaging outpatient services and procedures. This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment. Work situations require a service-oriented individual with the ability to respond to physicians, patients and families with sympathy, respect and understanding. Contacts include patients, families and referring physicians and their office staff, Radiologists, Nursing, and all Imaging Modality Technologists.

Requirements

• Post high school clerical vocational training or college course work preferred
• Medical Terminology certification preferred
• Experience in a medical setting, preferably in imaging and scheduling exp a plus
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with EMR or RIS

Position Summary

The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. The Surgical Technologist has responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures. Work situations are primarily routine but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, and may require both directed and independent decision-making depending on the nature of the situation.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience

The Certified Transporter is an excellent opportunity for supporting comprehensive health care services. Position Summary

The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. The Surgical Technologist has responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures. Work situations are primarily routine but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, and may require both directed and independent decision-making depending on the nature of the situation.

• Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience

Responsible for safely transporting patients and clinical equipment throughout all service areas of the hospital. • You will provide safe and timely transport of patients, beds, oxygen, supplies and equipment throughout the facility.
• Responsible for assisting clinical personnel in transferring patients to and or from beds, chairs, wheelchairs, stretchers, gurneys and all other patient transport equipment.
• Responsible to respond to patient fall codes by transporting patient lift equipment and assisting nursing staff, as required.
• Maintains clinical equipment by adhering to manufacturers recommended cleaning protocols.

• Effectively prioritize and apply organization and flexibility to your work duties.
• Delivers supplies and equipment to requesting departments, obtaining confirmation of receipt for item delivered, and assist the department with unloading of items.

The Supervisor-Pharmacy Practice is a working supervisor position and, in addition to duties as a pharmacist, will be responsible for the oversight of pharmacy activities in their area of responsibility. Position Summary

Nurse Practitioner (NP) provider will be responsible for initial diagnostic evaluation and treatment plan and progressive care of the patients till they are stabilized for discharge back to recommended level of follow up care.

Responsibilities

• NP will be responsible for care of maximum of 8-9 pts a day.
• NP will be responsible each day for a maximum of two new intake evaluations and treatment plan for new patients each day. These evaluations will be attested by medication director at completion of each assessment documentation.
• NP will be responsible for treatment plan and reviewing all collateral information and communication with the families and outpatient teams for each patient day of or within the first 24-48 hours.
• NP will also be responsible for at least 1-3 discharges a day of any patients deemed appropriate for discharge or other circumstances i.e. parent or patient withdrawing from treatment and will be responsible for communicating the stature of discharge i.e. voluntary discharge, discharge against medical advice or administrative discharge.
• NP will be responsible for following up on all the remainder of their patients on their case load for the day and document the progress updates.
• All efforts to be made by NPs to reach out and communicate with families, care givers and outpatient teams at the start and during the treatment course up until discharge.
• NP will put in admission orders or review and make corrections as per their evaluations, will order baseline and follow up laboratory blood work as deemed necessary and follow up on reports and communicate with patient and family.
• NPs are expected to attend daily team rounding meetings on the unit in person Mon-Fri.
• NP’s will provide at least 1 to 2 nights of call coverage on pager depending on the weekend that they may be on call.
• NP’s will provide in person 24 coverage on Sat and Sun at least once every 5th week and will have the same responsibilities however the case load on the weekend will be a maximum of 12-13 patients and the rest of expectations for admissions, progress follow ups and discharges will remain the same as on weekdays.
• NP’s will be responsible for collaborating with ancillary staff members involved in their patients care ie nursing, social workers and mental health technicians.
• NP’s will be responsible for keeping up with all licensure requirements and update on their workday profile.
• All annual mandatory trainings as directed by the system will have to be maintained and reported to MD.
• NP will be responsible for providing PTO requests at least 2-4 weeks in advance to Medical Director for approval and be responsible for formal request on UKG.

Requirements

• Certification in psychiatric ARNP/D-ARNP.
• Licensed in WA state by time of employment.
• Minimum of 1-3 years clinical experience providing direct patient care
• DEA, NPI and prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for health care providers certification by the American Heart Association
• Maintain valid WA state Motor vehicle license

As part of an interdisciplinary team, and to promote optimal health outcomes, the MHC-SW completes comprehensive assessment and provides support and resources to identify and intervene regarding patient/family needs related to: mental health, trauma, environmental and caregiver safety; child abuse and neglect; trauma; grief and loss; adjustment to injury/illness; food, shelter and other basic needs; education and developmental needs, and parenting resource needs.

The MHC-SW joins with patients and their families in identifying solutions to problems that serve barriers as to disease management. The PHP-SW partners with physicians, schools, law enforcement, Children’s Administration, community mental health providers and other service providers in the community to ensure well-coordinated care across the health care continuum.

Requirements:

• Licensed in the State of Washington as a Social Worker Associated Independent Clinical License (LSWAIC)
• Social Work experience in behavioral health and\or child abuse preferred
• Health industry knowledge preferred
• Leadership experience preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $34.80 - $50.10 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.

This per diem Medical Assistant position would primarily support our Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic in Gig Harbor, but would also allow you to pick up additional shifts and support our Pediatric Urgent Care Clinics in Tacoma and Olympia.  Additional information about these three clinics can be found here:

Position Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. The MA-C has continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients and their families/caregivers.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include:
  • Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
  • Interviewing patients
  • Obtaining vital signs
  • Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
  • Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
  • Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
  • Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
• Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include:
  • Sending and receiving of patient medical records
  • Facilitating patient referrals
  • Preparing forms for patients

Requirements:

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Current BLS certification
