Position Summary

The Clinical Director has administrative responsibility and accountability for the planning and direction of clinical, financial, and operational activities of a defined clinical unit/department. The incumbent designs, facilitates and directs the delivery of care and service to customers including patients, staff, physicians, family members and community representatives. The Clinical Director is responsible for the interpretation and development of unit/department patient care standards, provisions of quality health services, resource allocation and fiscal management. The Clinical Director defines and monitors the standards of nursing practice, assures availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources, supports collaboration within Patient Services and among other divisions and disciplines for desired patient outcomes, provides positive timely customer service, and participates in efforts to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
• Current BLS Certification
• Eight (8) years clinical experience and mastery of professional or technical role/function
• Five (5) years progressive experience in managerial or supervisory capacity

Position Summary

The Residential Case Aide – Luckett House is responsible for providing direct services for residential care to all clients. Duties include, but not limited to: resident support for bathing, shopping, transporting clients to medical or dental appointments or to local businesses, medication supervision, monitoring and meal service and other personal care needs. This role acts as a resource regarding front end workflows, authorizations, and insurance plan guidelines; secures financial resources and ensures financial clearance for healthcare services provided to patients; communicates Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) issues to referring providers; works with referring providers to resolve pre-service authorization denials; and serves as a functional expert for peers across Patient Access and clinical areas as it relates to financial clearance.
This position requires the ability to interpret medical guidelines, benefits, policies, and procedures to ensure financial clearance and the efficient operation of patient healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Secure pre-authorizations from insurance companies for a broad range of services, including office visits, in-office procedures and injections, diagnostic and advanced imaging studies, and therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to clinical standards, policies, and procedures across clinic settings.
• Partner with the clinical education team to create and deliver clinical training and education programs.

Position Summary

The AR Analyst Support Specialist organizes, analyzes and interprets data to support the revenue cycle and registration functions and serves as a key contact and knowledge authority on operations and/or Epic module related to front office registrations and POS collection processes.

The duties include assisting with identifying, reviewing, researching, analyzing and resolving registration problems for the system applications. Work situations require system identification and problem-solving techniques, interpretation of information from a variety of sources, researching problems, data analyses, and the use of discretion and good judgment in decision making. External contacts include third party and private insurance payers. Internal partnerships include clinic Leaders, registration staff, billing and customer service teams, Information systems and partner with billing to provide users with targeted and general training classes.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Three (3) years relevant healthcare systems and analytical experience including work in research and analysis of registration problems
• One (1) year experience developing, implementing, operating, maintaining or using EPIC information systems in hospital and/or clinic settings

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines. This role utilizes fixed imaging equipment, portable radiography, and fluoroscopic systems to support, trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic exams. The Radiologic Technologist functions as a clinical role model and resource within the hospital, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
• May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
• Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team

Requirements:

• Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
• X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health within the (3) three months of hiring.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
• BLS Certification

Position Summary

The Central Service Technician works as a team member and is responsible for providing support to the total health care team at MultiCare Health System by cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies and equipment. This position is a team member requiring a cooperative manner, working under direct supervision. Work situations are basically routine in nature yet require a service-oriented individual, organization of time and equipment, independent decision making in the execution of daily routine duties, and prioritization of multiple tasks. Internal contacts occur on a daily basis and may include patient care providers and Materials Management staff. External contacts are limited but may include patients, vendors, rental companies/agencies, other health care facilities, and physicians.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or completion of healthcare organization training program; military training or experience satisfies this requirement for WA state employees, per Title 18 RCW
• In lieu of formal training, candidates with a nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) and/or a minimum of one (1) year of recent sterile processing experience preferred
• Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location
• Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred

Position Summary

The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. The Surgical Technologist has responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures. Work situations are primarily routine but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, and may require both directed and independent decision-making depending on the nature of the situation.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
• National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $34.32 - $56.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.

About MultiCare Cancer Institute 

MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led, multi-specialty group within MultiCare Health System, delivering integrated hematology, oncology, radiation, surgical and supportive care across Washington state. Each year, we diagnose and treat more than 6,000 new cancer cases across Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma and Yakima. 

We bring together advanced pathology, imaging and evidence-based treatment with holistic supportive services to provide personalized, high-quality cancer care. As we continue to grow, we are building the Pacific Northwest’s most comprehensive and high-value oncology network—projected to double in volume over the next five years. 

FTE: 1 Shift: Day Schedule: Clinic hours

Position Summary

The Scheduling Coordinator-Specialty Clinic is responsible for providing coordination of the provider’s surgery and clinic schedules. This is a clerical position which is the first line representative to the hospitals and surgery centers and is responsible for scheduling appointments and operative procedures. This position works as a team member of the clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the scheduling of appointments and surgical procedures accurately, recognizing the importance and relationship to patient care
• Verifies insurance benefits
• Obtains insurance pre-certification and authorization as required
• Coordinates and schedules patient appointments to include pre-op, pre-admit and post-op appointments
• Schedules all meetings for provider, including attorney and vendor meetings
• Maintains, coordinates and manipulates provider clinic schedule to accommodate surgical cases, CME, vacation, court appearance, attorney depositions and all other meetings for the provider, using both Epic and MS Outlook programs

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Two (2) years of clerical experience in a medical environment (preferred)

Pay and Benefit Expectations

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
