*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. It is primarily centered in our flagship location in Lewistown, MT. That office sees patients T, W, Th. We also have a satellite office in Malta, MT that we work in 2 days per month, typically on a W/Th. We have minimum guaranteed hours, since our dentist travels extensively. We offer an additional $2600 a year in health insurance stipend after the probationery period has been exceeded.

*Duties*

* Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining patient comfort.
* Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
* Maintain accurate records and assist with coding as needed.
* Implement infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Utilize dental software systems for scheduling appointments and managing patient records. We use Eaglesoft.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

*Qualifications*

* Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a strong background in general dentistry.
* Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of dental coding and infection control practices is beneficial.
* Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft.
* Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and maintaining medical records.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
* A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
