Middle River Regional Jail is currently accepting applications for Director of Medical. The Director of Medical position requires a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and is responsible for the supervision of staff and administrative duties in the medical department. The Director of Medical is responsible for providing medical care to inmates in the jail facility. Work is performed in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures.

1. License Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

2. Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

3. Must be a citizen of the United States or legally employable in the United States.

4. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor for Medical Professionals.

5. Must possess a Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) certification or the ability to obtain it within the first twelve months (12) of employment.
