Job Purpose:

• Registered Nurse (RN) renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.
• Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
Job Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Additional certifications as required by department (ACLS/NRP)
Related Work Experience and Other Skills:
• Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards and utilizes these when providing nursing care.

The Office Manger will supervise the daily operations of the facility to ensure a smooth, efficient operations process is carried out daily. You will work closely with Physicians to ensure that quality patient care is maintained.

Supervise and perform front end revenue cycle workflows to achieve key practice indicators for practice revenue cycle, including but not limited to the management of provider performance against MMG initiatives
Round with staff at assigned practice daily; ensure assigned practice maintain MMG standards of performance for huddles, staff meetings, and one on one meetings, supporting employee engagement and employee development goals
Ensure assigned practice maintain MMG standards for practice performance meetings and operating reports
Coordinate with MMG leadership in the initial preparation and development of an annual operating budget and monitor performance to budget Manage and oversee the business affairs of assigned practice
Utilize data to make informed decisions on practice operations and to provide updates to MMG leadership
Manage and report to Supervisor the patient experience and access at assigned practice
Hire, train, monitor and retain staff
Monitor performance of direct reports continually, provide additional training as needed, and conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports
Manage work schedules and ensure appropriate staffing
Supervise the management of inventory for medications and medical equipment and organize for resupply and maintenance
Manage security and occupational health and safety at assigned practice
Interact with patients and assist in patient complaint resolution; manage patient grievances per MMG policy

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Bachelors degree in health care administration, public health, health information management or business administration is preferred. Three years of experience in a position with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software
Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills

The Referral Specialist will provide support to all Med-Health clinics and referral services which may include processing all incoming referrals from providers and clinical support staff. Furthermore, the specialists serve as a reserve point of contact into the Med-Health clinics as it relates to incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and follow up calls related to coordination of care. You will serve as a liaison between patients and clinical support staff.
Your Job Requirements:
• High School Graduation or GED required.
• 2+ years of professional medical knowledge in a practice setting is preferred. Bilingual a plus.
• Diploma from an accredited medical assist program preferred.
• Individual must be able to work on discrete tasks in a high volume, high-pressured environment.
• Good judgment and professional demeanor is a must.
• Current National Medical Assistant Registration/Certification preferred.
Your Job Responsibilities:
• Offers exceptional customer service while performing tasks professionally and with a positive attitude. Has the ability to handle multiple tasks. • Demonstrates the ability to complete Non-Urgent referrals process. This includes but is not limited to a good working knowledge of the workflow processes required to complete non urgent referrals.
• Ensures all requested patient referrals are timely completed within the established department time-frame criteria. Interacts with office management, specialist staff, and insurance companies in order to accurately and efficiently process physician referral requests in an effort to provide high quality patient care.
• Coordinates the efforts of the referral management department, verifies patients have scheduled appointments with the specialty providers, and provides patient addresses, phone numbers, and authorization referral forms to specialists as necessary.
• Faxes (eFax) completed specialist referral form, lab results, patient demographics, test data and primary care notes to other physicians and patient service consultants as necessary and directed.
• Documents all encounters with patients and physicians within EMR system. Logs all referrals into EMR system and monitors status to ensure timely completion.
• Makes outbound calls as needed to complete assigned tasks related to referrals.
• Serves as reserve point of contact into the Methodist Family Health Centers and Methodist Medical Group as it relates to incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and follow up calls related to coordination of care.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality while attempting to provide first call resolution.
• Screens calls, takes messages when applicable, and conveys information to appropriate parties in accordance with department workflows.
• Complies with all administrative workflows of the referral department. Maintains and follows all policies and procedures of organization and those specific to Med-Health.
• Communicates to management any issues or delays that may directly impact patients quality of care and customer service.
• Willingly participates in continuing education and other applicable activities to maintain professional competence.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the department to cultivate a team approach focused at achieving the highest quality of patient care and staff cooperation.

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
