*Position Overview*
We are seeking an *experienced and dependable Dental Assistant* who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. The right candidate will have strong chairside skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to anticipate the needs of both patients and providers.

*Practice Hours:*

* Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
* Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
* Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

*Key Responsibilities*

* Prepare and support patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
* Provide skilled chairside assistance, anticipating the needs of the dentist and patient.
* Capture and process dental X-rays.
* Maintain and sterilize instruments, strictly following infection control protocols.
* Accurately document patient records and treatment notes.
* Educate patients on oral health and post-procedure care.
* Manage supplies and ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked.
* Support occasional front office tasks such as scheduling and insurance verification.

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant certification.
* Current Ohio radiology certification (required).
* Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to anticipate needs, multitask, and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
* Familiarity with dental software and advanced technology is a plus.

*Job Description:* We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienists to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on oral health, and contributing to a positive patient experience.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth.
* Conduct periodontal assessments and charting.
* Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
* Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays).
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and strategies for maintaining oral health.

*Clinical Support:*

* Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized care plans for patients.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.

*Compliance and Safety:*

* Adhere to all OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control.
* Stay current with state and federal regulations, including those specific to Kentucky, governing dental hygiene practice.

*Qualifications:*

* Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Kentucky.
* Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.
* Anesthetic certificate preferred
* Laser certification preferred but not required.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
