Impact Learning & Development is a BCBA and military family-owned ABA therapy center serving children and families in Rapid City, South Dakota. We are growing and seeking 1–2 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join our team.

*Position Overview*
The BCBA will be responsible for overseeing ABA programming for pediatric clients, supervising RBTs, collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring clinical excellence across services.
This role is ideal for a BCBA who values clinical integrity, professional growth, and meaningful relationships with families and staff.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills assessments
* Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
* Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship to RBTs
* Monitor client progress using data-driven decision making
* Collaborate with families, schools, and related professionals
* Ensure services meet BACB ethical and professional standards
* Participate in team meetings and clinical collaboration
* Contribute to a positive, supportive workplace culture
*What We’re Looking For*
*Required:*
* Active BCBA certification in good standing
* Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
* Experience working with children with autism or related developmental needs
* Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Preferred (but not required):
* Experience supervising RBTs or trainees
* Interest in leadership, mentorship, or program development
* Experience in clinic-based or educational ABA settings

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating Nursing and Clinical education programs, training programs, development programs, and assigned special training projects of the WVU Medicine System and West Virginia University Hospitals. Establishes direction of strategic programs and services, and manages the budget associated with programming and service, policies, and practices of the function. Partners with contacts to ensure orientation, competency and education of nursing areas of the organization. Provides support and service at WVU Hospitals by providing staff development expertise as a Learning facilitator, Change agent, Mentor, Leader, Champion for scientific Inquiry, Advocate for the NPD specialty, and Partner for Practice Transitions. Provides expert level internal consultation to all levels of management and work groups related to clinical education.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
2. Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
EXPERIENCE:
1. Five (5) years nursing experience with at least two (2) years of which provided experience with teaching/learning methodologies is required.
2. Three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Doctorate Degree in Nursing or related field.
2. Certification in Nursing Professional Development or specialty.

1. Works in collaboration with the Leadership to ensure harmonization of practice, competence, development and across the WVU System and WVU Hospitals.
2. Oversees the planning, development, management, and evaluation of clinical education training programs and curriculum for employees of WVU Hospitals.
3. Develops, plans and implements nursing learning needs assessment, disseminates results to leadership and develops educational plans utilizing multiple modalities to impact learning needs.
4. Implements a standardized hire and annual competency model.
5. Facilitates the professional development of all staff and ensures competence by providing tools and templates for orientation, initial/hire and ongoing competence.
6. Guides planning and execution of Nursing Services Orientation/onboarding for new clinical employees, including a formal mentoring program.
7. Develops plans to ensure nursing leadership development and competency.
8. Ensures consistent documentation of education, competency and training in the Learning Management System
9. Guides planning and execution of American Heart Association courses.
10. Serves as a consultant and mentor to system hospital education departments and leadership by providing resources and developing education plans.
11. Acts as a consultant to leaders to guide planning and execution of educational needs, implementing new practices, designing processes and implementing organizational strategies.
12. Serves as a consultant to the nursing shared governance councils.
13. Oversees the Continuing Education Provider Unit to offer ANCC nursing continuing education credits.
14. Engages in strategic and performance improvement planning and responsible for the execution of that plan that impacts Nursing and Clinical education.
15. Facilitates a plan for nursing academic experiences.
16. Engages in fiscal activities in order to ensure the availability of supplies, equipment, and human resources to meet clinical education needs in a timely cost effective manner.
17. Determines strategic direction of clinical programs and services to ensure alignment with organizational needs and goals.
18. Supports an environment for innovation, creativity and empowerment with patient care delivery based on current best practice, literature and research.
19. Serves as a consultant to other departments within WVUH and other health care institutions, agencies, professional organizational colleagues in matters related to orientation, continuing education, staff development, competency validation and education.
20. Participates in planning and implementing changes to improve productivity and decrease costs, through participating in meetings, task forces and committees.
21. Collaborates in designing educational plans and providing specialized expertise in the application of teaching/learning principles within the organization.
22. Identifies current and anticipates future educational needs and develops strategic sustainable plans.
23. Serves as a change agent in effecting appropriate changes within the health care delivery system.
24. Builds and expands personal and professional expertise by contributing to the growth of knowledge in the field of nursing, education and development.
