At GumCare & Implant Specialists LLC, we’re not just about excellent clinical outcomes, we’re about personalized, compassionate care that transforms lives. Every treatment plan is tailored. Every patient is treated with empathy and clarity. And every team member is empowered to grow in a culture of excellence and collaboration.
*About the Role:*
We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate *Dental Hygienist* to join our established, high-performing periodontal team. If you thrive in a professional, patient-centered environment and enjoy building meaningful relationships while providing exceptional clinical care, you’ll feel right at home here.
Our hygienist of *14 years is retiring*, creating an opportunity for a new team member to join our established private practice and become an important part of our team.
We believe in providing excellent patient care without sacrificing the quality of the hygienist’s workday. *We do not push for production.* Our hygienists are given the time they need to provide thorough, personalized care, including *one patient per hour*.
We also offer *assisted hygiene*, allowing our clinical team to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Our practice is primarily focused on *periodontal maintenance and long-term patient care*, with *minimal SRP procedures performed*. This allows our hygienists to spend more time building relationships with patients, providing individualized preventive and periodontal maintenance care, and helping patients maintain their oral health.
This is an opportunity to use your hygiene skills at a high level while working alongside experienced periodontists and a dedicated clinical team.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide comprehensive periodontal hygiene care, including periodontal maintenance, limited scaling and root planing, and preventive services.
* Provide primarily *periodontal maintenance care*, with minimal SRP procedures.
* Work closely with periodontists to support patients throughout their periodontal treatment.
* Perform thorough periodontal assessments and document findings accurately.
* Capture dental X-rays and assist with digital imaging and clinical documentation as needed.
* Utilize *Airflow polishing and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT)* as part of our modern approach to patient care.
* Educate patients on periodontal health, home care, and the importance of maintaining optimal oral health.
* Monitor and communicate changes in patients’ periodontal conditions to the doctor.
* Participate in an *assisted hygiene* model to support an efficient and organized clinical workflow.
* Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
* Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
* Utilize *updated technology and digital systems* to enhance patient care and clinical efficiency.
* Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit.
* Work collaboratively with the doctors and clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience.
*What We’re Looking For:*
* Dental Hygiene license in good standing.
* Experience in periodontal hygiene is preferred.
* Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and patient education skills.
* A calm, confident, and compassionate presence with patients.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team.
* Comfortable with digital technology, radiography, electronic charting, and other dental technology.
* Willingness to learn and utilize *Airflow polishing and Guided Biofilm Therapy*.
* Experience with Dentrix is ideal, but not required.
* A positive attitude and genuine commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
* Candidates who are eager to grow their periodontal knowledge and clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
*What You Can Expect from Us:*
* *One patient per hour, *allowing you to provide thorough, personalized care.
* *Minimal SRP, * primarily periodontal maintenance and preventive care.
* *No production pressure, *our focus is on quality patient care, not pushing production.
* *Assisted hygiene* to support an efficient, well-organized clinical environment.
* *Updated technology* and modern clinical techniques.
* *Airflow polishing & Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT).*
* An established *private practice* with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
* *No weekends and no late nights.*
* *Continuing education provided* to support your professional growth.
* Competitive compensation based on your skills and experience.
* Paid time off and retirement plans (401k).
* A respectful, team-based environment where your contribution is valued.
* The opportunity to work closely with experienced periodontists and a dedicated clinical team.
* A supportive environment where you can build long-term relationships with your patients and coworkers.
* The opportunity to step into a well-established hygiene position following the retirement of our hygienist of 14 years.
*Why Join Us?*
If you’re looking for a hygiene position where you can *focus on your patients, practice quality dentistry, and enjoy a healthy work-life balance*, we’d love to meet you.
You’ll have the time to provide excellent care, the technology to support you, and a team that values what you bring to the practice.
*Ready to join a practice where your skills matter and patient care comes first? We’d love to hear from you!*

Practice Type: On-site
About the Opportunity
Alpaca Health partners with experienced BCBAs to build and grow their own independent ABA practices.
Instead of working for a traditional ABA company, you become the owner and clinical leader of your practice—with control over your clinical care, caseload, schedule, team, and growth.
Alpaca provides the infrastructure and support needed to get your practice up and running, including payer contracting, technology, billing, credentialing, and administrative support.
You focus on what matters most: providing exceptional care to clients and families while building a practice of your own.
What You'll Do
Provide high-quality, individualized ABA services to clients and families.
Conduct assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Monitor client progress and use data to guide clinical decisions.
Provide clinical oversight and supervision to your team as your practice grows.
Collaborate with caregivers and other professionals involved in client care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Build and grow your practice while maintaining high standards of clinical care.
What Alpaca Provides
Support getting your practice in-network with major insurance payers.
AI-powered technology for scheduling, documentation, data collection, and practice management.
Billing, credentialing, and administrative support.
Support with building and scaling your clinical team.
Operational infrastructure so you can spend more time focused on clients and your practice.
Who This Is For
This opportunity is a strong fit for BCBAs who:
Are ready for greater clinical and professional autonomy.
Have considered starting their own ABA practice but aren't sure where to begin.
Want to choose their clients, schedule, caseload, and team.
Want to build a practice they own rather than work for someone else's.
Have the clinical experience and entrepreneurial mindset to lead a practice.
Qualifications
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license, where required.
Experience providing ABA services and working with clients and families.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Commitment to ethical, evidence-based ABA practice.
Why Alpaca Health?
You shouldn't have to choose between being a great clinician and building something of your own.
With Alpaca, you remain the owner and clinical leader while we handle much of the infrastructure behind the scenes. You decide how you want to practice and how you want to grow.
If you're ready to build an ABA practice that's truly yours, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today to learn more about building your practice with Alpaca Health.

_*TherAnnu Restorative Spa — Odenton, Maryland*_
TherAnnu is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist who wants to practice differently.
_*This is not a high-volume, insurance-driven clinic.*_TherAnnu is a restorative wellness spa where physical therapy, manual therapy, dry needling, massage, stretch therapy, recovery services, and wellness memberships come together under one brand. We are looking for a skilled, personable PT who wants to help build something meaningful at our new Odenton location.
The ideal candidate is a strong manual therapist who enjoys hands-on care, values clinical autonomy, and understands that people are looking for more than a quick exercise sheet. Our clients come to TherAnnu because they want to feel better, move better, recover better, and be guided by providers who truly listen.
*About the Role*
The Physical Therapist will provide one-on-one evaluation and treatment for clients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, pain, mobility, and performance-related concerns. This position is ideal for a PT who appreciates the value of skilled manual therapy, individualized care, and a wellness-focused environment.
You will have the opportunity to work with clients *outside the limitations of traditional insurance-based care* while collaborating with a team of massage therapists, stretch providers, wellness staff, and spa leadership.
*What Makes This Position Different*
At TherAnnu, physical therapy is not treated as a separate, clinical afterthought. It is part of a larger *restorative wellness model.*
You will be able to combine your clinical expertise with services and tools that support recovery and whole-body wellness, including infrared sauna, cryotherapy, compression therapy, red light therapy, BioMat, massage, stretch therapy, and other restorative services.
*This is a strong fit for a PT who wants to:*
* Spend meaningful one-on-one time with clients
* Use manual therapy as a core part of treatment
* Work in a calm, beautiful, wellness-centered environment
* Help clients bridge the gap between pain relief, recovery, and long-term wellness
* Be part of a growing brand with a strong mission and future opportunity
* Practice in a setting that feels elevated, personal, and client-centered
*Responsibilities*
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for:
* Performing initial evaluations and follow-up treatment sessions
* Providing skilled manual therapy and individualized therapeutic exercise
* Developing treatment plans based on client goals, impairments, and functional needs
* Performing dry needling if certified, or pursuing dry needling training if not yet certified
* Educating clients on movement, recovery, pain management, and self-care strategies
* Recommending appropriate TherAnnu services, packages, and wellness options when clinically appropriate
* Collaborating with massage therapists, stretch providers, and other team members to support the client experience
* Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
* Helping establish physical therapy as a strong service line at the Odenton location
* Representing the TherAnnu brand with professionalism, warmth, and clinical excellence
*Ideal Candidate*
We are looking for someone who:
* Has strong manual therapy skills
* Enjoys hands-on, one-on-one patient care
* Is certified in dry needling or willing to become certified
* Has an interest in restorative wellness, recovery, and integrative care
* Communicates clearly and confidently with clients
* Can build trust and long-term client relationships
* Is comfortable working in a cash-based / out-of-network environment
* Feels aligned with a more thoughtful, elevated approach to care and is excited to be part of building it
* Is professional, dependable, warm, and team-oriented
* Wants more than a traditional PT job
*Requirements*
* Current Maryland Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for Maryland licensure
* Strong orthopedic and musculoskeletal evaluation skills
* Manual therapy experience
* Dry needling certification preferred, but not required if willing to train
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Interest in wellness, recovery, and client-centered care
*Preferred Experience*
* Manual therapy-focused outpatient orthopedics
* Dry needling
* Sports, spine, chronic pain, postural, or mobility-related treatment
* Cash-based, concierge, wellness, or hybrid care models
* Collaboration with massage therapy, wellness, or recovery services
*Compensation and Schedule*
This is a full-time position at TherAnnu’s new Odenton location. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, schedule, and qualifications.
*Why TherAnnu*
TherAnnu was created to offer a better way to restore, recover, and feel well. *We believe clients should have access to skilled providers, hands-on care, and restorative services in one welcoming place.*
For the right Physical Therapist, this is an opportunity to help shape the physical therapy program inside a growing wellness brand — not just fill a schedule.
