The CT Technologist will perform a variety of procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for multiple diagnosis or intervention. Responsible for performing CT and X-Ray examinations according to protocol and age specific needs including patient preparation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Must work various shifts and take call on a rotating basis.
Performs CT and X-Ray procedures according to protocol.
Consistently provide images of optimal diagnostic quality on patients ranging from Neonatal to Geriatric age group; Follow established imaging and viewing protocols.
Operate imaging equipment in diagnostic radiology and CT procedures efficiently and effectively.
Complete quality imaging in a timely manner, effectively organizing and prioritizing work flow to meet STAT and urgent demands while continuing to meet patient standards.
Interact with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical implants, allergies, etc.
Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.
Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist. Serves as an expert resource for clinical, technical and process-related questions for other Technologists.
Reviews and optimizes scheduling to accommodate work-ins and ensures the proper protocol.
Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies. Coordinates annual testing and/or equipment inspections.
Transfers and properly positions patients for examination in order to obtain desired results according to physician’s specifications or protocols. Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients. Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress.
Practices sterile technique and prevents cross contamination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following.
· Possess a basic understanding of nursing principles.
· Participate in and receive the nursing report from licensed staff while maintaining the patient’s privacy and dignity assist with activities of daily living (DLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
· Help patients with mobility, transferring them safely in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
· Measure and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any abnormalities to the patient’s primary nurse.
· Monitor patients for changes in condition and report observations or any refusal in care directly to the primary nurse and charge nurse.
· Assist in documenting patient care activities and responses in medical records.
· Assist patients with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
· Help set up meal trays and help as needed during mealtimes.
· Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and free of hazards,
· Follow infection control protocols and ensure proper sanitation practices.

The Speech Language Pathologist is expected to work closely with the Evaluation Team and respond to the directives of the team supervisor and provide billing documentation to team supervisor as required.

The RN - Nursing House Supervisor provides oversight and makes decisions related to patient care and throughput/flow. Qualifications:
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
Review and interpret highly technical information; write technical materials; and/or speak persuasively to implement desired actions; and analyze situations to define core issues and draw conclusions.
Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include age-appropriate activities/behaviors; understanding of CPT codes/payor rules/regulations/policies; language grammar/punctuation/spelling/vocabulary; and research-based accepted treatment modalities and assessment.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, infrequent lifting to 50 pounds, frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, turning, twisting, bending, stooping, and squatting, walking, and climbing.
