Occupational Therapy Assistant will assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care, under the supervision of licensed therapists. OTA will document all services provided to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services. The OTA assures that patient care follows the OT Plan of Care, the organization’s guidelines, meets professional standards, community needs and is in compliance with Federal and State guidelines.
Job Duties:
* Provides Therapy services established by the Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the patient Plan of Care.
* Provides therapy services under the supervision of an OTR as determined by the Registered Therapist and in compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
* Consults with OTR regarding changes in treatment or condition in a timely manner.
* Appropriately and effectively completes documentation including daily notes and assisting the OTR to create progress notes, discharge summaries, or monthly reports as needed.
* Submits billing, payroll, and expense documentation in a timely manner.
* Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians and other members of the team.
* Attends continuing education seminars/workshops to keep abreast of new clinical skills, programs or techniques.
* Participates in care planning meetings, rehab meetings and family training in order to communicate patient progress as requested by OTR, Director of Rehab or Rehab Resource Consultant.
* Follows organizational and facility policies and procedures to ensure employee and patient safety.
* Ensures equipment is in good working order prior to providing care to patients. Follows procedures for reporting damaged equipment.
* Maintains a clean environment.
* Attends required meetings, in-services and functions as designated by the Director of Rehab and /or the Rehab Resource Consultant.
* Coordinates treatment goals with other team members.
* Maintains valid licensure, certification or equivalent as requested by appropriate state agency.

* 1 year Occupational Therapy Assistant experience preferred.
* 1-2 years experience in a residential/ assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred.
* Graduates in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program will be considered.

* Administer formal and informal speech and language assessments. Score and interpret results and write evaluation reports with recommendations and treatment goals.

Responsibilities:
The diagnostic medical Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound for patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. The diagnostic medical Sonographer works independently and with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to pregnant women. They work closely with perinatologists, providing preliminary reports and assisting with procedures. Provide a brief description of the job’s primary purpose and responsibility within the organization.
Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets. Acquires anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician.
Assists physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
Accurately documents exam findings, measurements, images, and procedural details in the ultrasound reporting and image archiving systems.
Records patient history, indications, and pertinent observations in accordance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
Generates clear, comprehensive preliminary reports for interpreting physician review, and final signature.
Reviews completed studies with interpreting physicians to communicate findings, address questions, and support diagnostic accuracy.
Ensures documentation is complete, timely, and compliant with organizational policies, accreditation requirements, and patient safety standards
Selects and assigns appropriate exam types, procedures, and indication (diagnosis) codes based on services performed, clinical documentation, and provider orders to support accurate reporting, interpretation, and billing.
Escorts patients and accompanying family members to and from the examination room in a courteous and professional manner.
Prepares patients for ultrasound examinations by verifying identity, reviewing relevant history, and ensuring comfort and privacy.
Explains complex procedures and examinations to patients and family.
Provides reassurance and clear communication throughout the exam to support patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction
Ensures the appropriate consent and/or declinations are obtained.
Maintains proper operation of the ultrasound equipment. Recognizes equipment malfunctions and takes appropriate corrective action.
Maintains laundry for examination rooms.
Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of ultrasound supplies
Follows the accredited laboratory protocols for obtaining two-dimensional images, color flow, Doppler, and m-mode where applicable.
Follows and complies with universal precautions and OSHA standards. Follows and complies with safety and security training.
Rotates to other locations as needed to cover Sonographer absences.
Performs related and other assigned duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Satisfactory completion of one of the following; graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent, at least two (2) years in Allied Health Educational Program and one (1) year on-the-job- training in ultrasonography, or graduate from an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent
Maintain or be eligible for certification as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo (FE) certified or eligible to obtain within 12 months of hire.
Must provide evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
NT experience or certification preferred.
CPR certification preferred
Experience
Minimum six months experience as an ultrasound technician working in OB/GYN and/or MFM setting preferred.

* Provide individual, triadic, and group clinical supervision to ASWs and AMFTs in compliance with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements, including all required supervision ratios, documentation, and supervision agreements.

From your first week, you’ll be paired with a direct supervisor who will help you navigate your new role, answer questions, and support your ongoing clinical development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide brief, intensive in-home therapeutic services to families identified and referred by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (NE DHHS).
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and design tailored treatment plans.
Execute clinical interventions and facilitate ongoing discharge and aftercare planning.
Collaborate closely with NE DHHS caseworkers and GLFS Skillbuilders to assist families in developing and implementing healthier habits, relationships, and lifestyles.
Maintain timely, streamlined communication and precise clinical documentation.
Manage a flexible schedule and maintain autonomy while meeting assigned case hours and client needs.
Participate in agency meetings, consultations, and professional development opportunities to further your therapeutic expertise.
Work Schedule
Schedules are flexible and self-managed based on client availability and caseload needs. Therapists maintain autonomy over their calendar while ensuring consistent support for assigned families.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Pay: $40–$60 / hour (based on experience and licensure)
Drive Time Pay: $30.00 / hour
Mileage Reimbursement: Paid for client-related travel and community transitions
Bonus Opportunity: Earn up to $5,000.00 within your first 9 months! ($3,000.00 awarded at 6 months, and an additional $2,000.00 awarded for tenure based on carrying a minimum caseload of 3 cases for 9 months).

Requirements:
Licensure: Minimum of an LMHP, PLMHP, or a Master’s level intern within one semester of graduation required.
Vehicle: Must provide a reliable personal vehicle to travel as part of daily work (GLFS reimburses drive time and mileage).
Technology: Must provide your own cell phone and internet service with daily access to GLFS work email and GLFS Computer Systems. A personal computer, iPad, or tablet is optional but highly encouraged.
Communication: Highly developed skills in timeliness and streamlined communication are necessary for success.
