Provides nursing support to the physician and provides direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient setting.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Current Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Licensed Practical Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
3. State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year clinical experience.

1. Provides direct patient care, as outlined in the patient’s plan of care and/or as directed by the overseeing role , to promote comfort and/or return to functional health for the patient. Consults with the Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist to seek guidance in delivery of nursing care, as necessary.
2. Performs designated therapeutic procedures to assigned patients as needed.
3. Accurately observes, records and reports to the overseeing role, all patient concerns, symptoms, reactions and progress in a timely manner.
4. Assists physicians and the overseeing role with examinations and procedures, as assigned.
5. Contributes to the nursing assessment by collecting, reporting and recording objective and subjective data.
6. Observes the condition or change in condition of the patient, records signs and symptoms of deviation from normal health status and reports findings to the overseeing role.
7. Participates in the development of the patient’s plan of care by providing data, contributing to the identification of priorities and assisting in the identification of measures to maintain comfort and support human functions and responses.
8. Assists in assigned patient and family education and rehabilitation by reviewing patient needs with the overseeing role and following the teaching plan.
9. Documents nursing interventions and responses to care, communicating to appropriate members of the health care team.
10. Accurately and safely administers intramuscular, subcutaneous, IV, oral, nebulization and/or MDI delivered medications as assigned.
11. Obtains instruction and supervision as necessary from the overseeing role when implementing nursing technique or practices.

1. Completion of annual required education related to specialty accreditation as defined by accreditation standards. Training may be completed through CBLs, trainings, In-services, and competency validation.

1. Heavy/Hard work:Work requires strength and/or stamina, lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, positioning of patients, standing, walking; carrying of patients, materials and equipment weighing 40+lbs.This is performed on a daily basis.

Overview:
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
Department/Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for our Beacon Award winning 16 bed General Intensive Care Unit. The most common diagnosis on this unit are myocardial infarctions, life-threatening dysrhythmias, cardiac post-procedures, gastrointestinal bleeds, acute respiratory distress, vascular surgeries and general surgeries with complications.

This position will work in collaboration with the Advocate Chief Academic Officer (CAO) /Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Vice President, Medical Management (VPMM), and Executive Director of Medical Education (EDME) to assist with ensuring institutional (System) policies and procedures are carried out at the individual sites, help design and implement decisions of the Advocate Graduate Medical Education Committee (AGMEC), and assist the EDME with the operations and accreditation functions at the sites.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Graduate and Undergraduate Medical Education (GME/UME) programs, ensuring effective delivery of educational services across the site.
- Lead and supervise medical education staff, including program coordinators and UME coordinators, through performance management, coaching, resource allocation, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with ACGME, institutional, regulatory, and accreditation standards by overseeing program evaluations, accreditation activities, policies, reporting, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Direct resident and fellow recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, licensure, visa processing, orientation, advancement, graduation, and training verification processes.
- Collaborate with institutional leadership, program directors, faculty, and administrative stakeholders to support GMEC activities, accreditation reviews, resident engagement initiatives, and educational program success.
- Oversee resident and fellow administrative and human resource functions, including payroll monitoring, leave management, benefits administration, wellness referrals, due process procedures, and required training compliance.
- Manage program budgets, financial reporting, reimbursement processes, restricted funds, and resource planning to ensure fiscal responsibility and operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate affiliation agreements, contracts, and educational partnerships while ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary site resource for medical education matters, supporting students, residents, fellows, faculty, and leadership while promoting a positive learning environment and educational excellence.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education or health-related field. 5 years’ of supervisory or management experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong knowledge of graduate and/or undergraduate medical education principles, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements; experience with ACGME accreditation processes preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, including the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and lead teams in a complex healthcare environment.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills with the ability to coordinate competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information, make sound decisions, and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Job Description:
The Nurse Clinical Leader provides leadership and clinical expertise during their shift and within their department. They manage unit resources and supervise personnel to ensure appropriate staffing levels based on the unique needs of patients on the unit, both clinically and financially. They serve as clinical support for staff and exemplify competency and professionalism.
As a part of line management, this role will have significant leadership responsibilities, including several of the following: leading change, scheduling, maintenance of staff competencies, new employee selection / orientation, constructive discipline, and completion of annual employee performance reviews. The Nurse Clinical Leader provides leadership support for professional governance.
The Nurse Clinical Leader also works in a regularly scheduled bedside RN shift with the responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. The RN utilizes the nursing process with technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.
Essential Functions
- Conducts thorough evaluations of physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communication, and developmental skills when necessary. Gathers and assesses information from the interdisciplinary team: patient, family, physician, non-nursing professionals, support staff, and others.
- Models and fosters an environment of professionalism and employee engagement on the unit. Advocates for nursing teams in respective practice areas. Supports other members of nursing management with key messaging and priority initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. 4. Keeps equipment associated with the job, clean and orderly, and reports equipment failures or other mechanical issues to maintenance staff.

6. Attends all required in-service education and training classes including safety update programs to maintain technical knowledge.

$19.80 - $29.70Major Responsibilities:- Conducts regular interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property. Inspects exit doors, offices, storerooms, and departments for security and the absence of fire or other hazards. Monitors and reports suspicious activity on hospital property and surrounding area.

UMass Memorial Medical Center is the largest academic medical center in Central Massachusetts and the region’s only Level I Trauma Center. The Department of Cardiac Surgery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a high-performing, collaborative academic team.
Our Cardiac Surgery service includes 16 Advanced Practice Providers, 3 Cardiac Surgeons, and 7 Surgical Intensivists. This is a full-time position with a rotating day/night schedule, including weekends and holidays. The standard schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week.
Our team provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art cardiac surgical care to a diverse patient population, including:
Open and endovascular aortic repair
Coronary revascularization
Structural heart procedures
Mechanical circulatory support, including a destination VAD program
The clinical scope spans the full continuum of perioperative cardiac surgery care, from high-acuity tertiary and quaternary cases to routine surgical procedures. The program performs approximately 550 cases annually.
Advanced Practice Providers are integral to the service and serve as the first point of contact for patient care across the ICU, post-operative floor, and outpatient clinic. Surgically trained APPs provide operative first assisting and endoscopic vein harvesting in all cases.
Role Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of a physician, the Advanced Practice Provider will deliver comprehensive medical care, including but not limited to:
Performing and documenting complete histories and physical examinations, with thorough review of the medical record to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans
Ordering, interpreting, and reviewing laboratory tests and imaging studies
Participating in daily inpatient rounds; evaluating patients; reviewing diagnostic data; and documenting daily progress notes
Requesting consultations and communicating effectively with consulting services
Performing routine bedside and clinical procedures in accordance with approved Delineation of Privileges
Assisting in surgical and other invasive procedures, as applicable
Position Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program; board certification required
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC)
Current Massachusetts license
ACLS and BLS Certified
Preferred: 1–3 years of relevant clinical experience

The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit is a fast-paced 28 bed unit that cares for all cardiac related things. Our brand-new state-of-the-art unit focuses on providing amazing cardiac care to our critical patients but makes families aware that their loved ones are receiving the best in the Triad. This includes the medical and surgical patient population. These patients come with many challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as a nurse. You can expect to see patients with advanced heart failure, heart transplants, post arrest hypothermia, coronary bypass grafting and much more. The devices you will get to work with include: IABP (Intra-Aortic balloon pump), pacemaker/ICD, Impella, LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device), ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) and Advanced Hemodynamic Monitoring.
Expectations We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

MRI technologists performs magnetic resonance imaging and acquire and analyzes data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
Magnetic resonance technologists independently perform or assist the licensed practitioner in the completion of magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Magnetic resonance technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy.
Job Duties:
- Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality.
- Utilizes appropriate imaging protocol and optimizes technical factors while maximizing patient safety, optimizing patient care, and applying principles of ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable).
- Preparing and/or administering, as applicable, medications through new or existing vascular access site as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Evaluates images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality and verifies archival storage and/or transfer of data, post processing of data if applicable.
- Educating and monitoring students and other health care providers.
- Applying principles of magnetic resonance safety to minimize risk to patient, self, and others.
- Assisting the licensed practitioner with magnetic resonance interventional procedures.
- Performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Selecting appropriate pulse sequences with consideration given to established protocols and other factors influencing data acquisition parameters.

Oversees pharmaceutical care, including retrieving and evaluating biomedical literature and designing medication therapy regimens
Uses effective patient education techniques to provide counseling to patients and caregivers, including information on medication therapy, adverse effects, compliance, appropriate use, handling, and medication administration
Designs, recommends, monitors, and evaluates patient specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on relevant biomedical literature. Implements recommendations effectively and utilizes policies and procedures and documents in the appropriate format.
Reviews and accurately interprets medication orders and prescriptions
Participates in the management of medical emergencies when applicable
Actively supports department medication safety and quality improvement activities, including the reporting of events through appropriate channels
Performs quality assurance and performance improvement of the medication use system as appropriate
Collaborates with the healthcare team to manage formulary adherence and the medication-use process. Assists in the acquisition of non-formulary, compassionate use, and investigational medications.

Position Summary
The Security Officer is a key position on our Security Services team. In this role, you provide protection over MultiCare Health System properties and facilities. You will own the responsibility for the security and safety of MultiCare patients, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general security in the protection of people and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations.
- Deter criminal activity and misconduct utilizing tactical techniques.

What You'll Do
The Director Cardiovascular Service Line provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the full continuum of cardiovascular care across the health system, including inpatient and outpatient cardiology, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery and vascular medicine, interventional and structural cardiac programs, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular interventions, cardiac and vascular imaging, and cardiac rehabilitation. This role partners closely with physician leadership (Service Line Medical Director, often representing both cardiology and vascular/cardiac surgery), nursing leadership, and hospital administration in a dyad model to drive clinical quality, patient experience, growth, and financial performance across all sites of care. The Director is accountable for translating system strategy into an integrated service line plan that spans the inpatient, ambulatory, and post-acute cardiovascular care journey across cardiology and surgical/vascular disciplines.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the operating leader for the cardiology service line.
Partner in a physician-administrator dyad with the Service Line Medical Director to set and execute service line strategy.
Develop and execute multi-year service line growth plans, including program development (e.g., structural heart, advanced heart failure, electrophysiology, complex peripheral and vascular surgery), market expansion, and outreach clinic strategy.
Own the service line's annual operating and capital budgets; monitor volumes, revenue, expense, and productivity, and lead corrective action plans to meet financial targets.
Oversee daily operations of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and vascular labs, non-invasive cardiac and vascular imaging and diagnostics, cardiology and vascular surgery clinics, and cardiac rehabilitation programs.
Lead service line quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives in collaboration with clinical leaders, including registry participation, accreditation readiness, and core measure performance.
Drive physician engagement, recruitment planning, and alignment strategies across cardiology and cardiac/vascular surgery, in partnership with medical staff leadership.
Manage service line staffing strategy, workforce planning, and leadership development for direct and matrixed reports across multiple departments and sites.
Lead or support service line contracting strategy, including supply chain/value analysis for cardiovascular devices and implants, in partnership with supply chain and finance.
Represent the service line in payer strategy discussions, bundled payment and value-based care initiatives, and managed care contract negotiations as needed.
Ensure regulatory compliance across all cardiology sites, including CMS Conditions of Participation, and applicable state regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, community partners, and regional outreach sites to support network integration and patient access.
Lead change management and performance improvement initiatives.
Report service line performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to system leadership and the board as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field Master’s degree in MHA, MBA, or MSN preferred.
Minimum 5-10 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, including at least 3 years in cardiovascular, cardiac surgery, vascular, or a comparable complex procedural service line.
