RN Liaison - St. Peter's Hospital
Eddy Visiting Nurse and Rehab Association has a rewarding opportunity for a fulltime position to be a part of EVNRA team as a liaison based out of St. Peter's Hospital campus!
This candidate would assist with homecare referrals and discharge planning and work closely with the community providers to obtain necessary documents. This position would participate in rounds and status of patients who are preparing to return home. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and organization a must, along with an understanding of homecare regulations.

Requirements:
- NYS Registered Nurse license
- 1 year of RN experience
- Valid NYS driver's license

Pay Range: $38.00 - $50.18

$20.80 - $31.20MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Posseses knowledge of monitoring system and camera controls.
- Alerts physician, nursing and/or clinical staff when clinical seizures or other paroxysmal events occur.
- Communicates with patients and clinical staff to obtain information when events occur.
- Documents observations on patient’s EEG recording as well as in patient’s electronic medical record (EMR).
- Completes hospital training to alert supervisor and or activate hospital systems such as rapid response, cardiac arrest, etc. per etablished protocols when encountering patient issues.
- Assists neurodiagnostic technologists as needed (restocking supplies, electrode removal and disinfection, etc.)
- Performs procedures according to the laboratory standards and implements alternative methods and/or adjusts controls to obtain optimal recordings. This may include appropriate control setting changes on the equipment and use of activation procedures.
- Recognizes patient or environmental artifact on the study. Documents, eliminates or takes proper measure to monitor the artifact.
- Troubleshoots equipment problems and communicates with biomed, manufacturer tech support or supervisor.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
License/Registration/Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
Education Required: High School Graduate.
Successful completion of LTM 100 Introduction to LTM for EMU personnel offered in-house within the first 90 days of employment.
Experience Required: No Experience Required.
Will be trained in-house with a minimum 20 clinical observation hours under the direction of a credentialed Neurodiagnostic Technologist (R. EEG T., or CLTM) and successful completion of didactic course (LTM 100) and competency assessments to be completed within the first 90 days of employment, including but not limited to recognition of clinical seizures and other clinical paroxsymal events, ictal testing procedures, measures to reduce risk of fall, and seizure first aid.

- Strong and effective communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and patient service skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including use of the electronic medical record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Must sit, stand, walk, twist, and lift throughout the workday.
- Perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Work environment may contain potential for exposure to blood and body fluids or other unpleasant fumes or hazards and, therefore, must have ability to work in that type of environment and wear protective clothing as necessary.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

This job coaches all levels from novice to senior athletes. Organizes and instructs individual athletes and small groups in athletic lessons and safety. Education

Job Duties
Coaches lower level programs, monitors the work area to prevent emergency situations, and responds effectively in an emergency situation.
Explains and enforces safety rules and regulations governing sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment.
Assesses the needs of clients and prepares workout regime based on the requirements.
Offers alternatives during classes to accommodate different levels of fitness.
Keeps track of client progress and accurately documents the results.
Administers basic first aid to clients in case of injuries.
Maintains exercise equipment, replaces damaged materials, and orders supplies to maintain inventory levels.
Follows guidelines as directed by Assistant and Head Coach.
Communicates athlete’s progress to supervisor and parents.
Performs other duties as needed.

What You Will Do:

Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Patient Care Technician.
As a Patient Care Technician at MercyOne, you will be support the professional clinical staff by providing direct patient care and performing studies and tests as assigned. These duties may vary by shift or may be unit-specific.
Schedule:
- 12-hours Days 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; rotating weekends and holidays
General Requirements:
- Delivers assigned patient care and treatment as delegated by an RN or LPN.
- Performs or assists patients with activities including personal hygiene, bathing, ambulation, transporting, range of motion exercises, dressing/undressing, feeding, changing bandages, elimination needs, and emptying drainage devices.
- Responds to patient calls and anticipates patient needs. Assures patient safety and comfort through use of safe patient handling techniques, regular rounding, environmental maintenance, equipment maintenance, and other appropriate safety measures.
- Calculates intake and output (excluding IVs). Measures vital signs. Performs bedside blood glucose testing. Makes entries to patient health records as consistent with scope of job duties and in compliance with company policy.
- Initiates or assists with emergency support measures (i.e., cardiopulmonary resuscitation, protecting patient from injury).
- Performs post-mortem care.
- Sets up equipment and supplies for procedures. Prepares patients and rooms for procedures, admissions, and transfers. Discharges patients from the system.
- Observes and reports information regarding any change in physical/mental condition, behavior, or status of the patient to the nurse.
- Collects and labels specimens.
- Sets up, operates, and maintains selected pieces of equipment.
Education:
- Must be 16 years of age.
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certified within six (6) weeks of hire.

Position Summary
The Dietary Aide III is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.
Responsibilities:
- You will process meal orders and monitor diet orders for appropriate menu modifications
- You will maintain accuracy between patient trays, visiting patients, delivery, and pick-up of patient meal trays
- You will collaborate with a team of Nursing staff, Doctors, Clinical Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, and other department staff to provide optimal nutrition care for patients
- You will engage in a variety of consistent and routine functions with excellent customer service
- You will utilize an understanding of special dietary needs
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Two-year degree in Nutrition preferred
- Current Washington State Food Handlers Card
- Minimum six (6) months experience in a customer service oriented position preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.43 - $32.60 USD.
