Job Description:
Location: Southridge Clinics
The Senior Practice Manager provides effective leadership and creates a culture of accountability for ambulatory care operations including excellence in patient and caregiver safety, quality assurance of care, patient experience, equity, patient access to care, financial stewardship including budget management, caregiver engagement, and growth. The Senior Practice Manager makes employment decisions including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action decisions. This role also supports ancillary services such as human resources and information systems.
Complexity of Scope – Primary Determinant
This position is typically responsible for and collaborates with 10-30 Physicians and/or APPs and 23-60 Caregivers and oversees approximately 3-7 clinics. They could potentially manage multiple specialties across a market which may require some to moderate travel. The Senior Practice Manager role may have oversight of up to 1-4 direct leader reports of which they will be required to lead and foster their development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others to create a culture of accountability and teaming
- Develops vision for practice and executes plans to achieve vision.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization and demonstrated ability to influence non-direct reports to meet department goals
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Demonstrated ability to direct, supervise, and coach front office staff.
- Demonstrated strong computer skills, including proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet, and advanced computer applications (i.e. database or presentations).
- Ability to problem solve and address issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- 5 years leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- 2 years leadership experience over multiple departments, budgets, and leaders

Performs a variety of routine procedures with the collection, receiving, triaging and/or processing of laboratory requisitions and specimens involving technical and data entry duties.Major Responsibilities:
- Receives specimens from couriers and checks manifests to verify appropriate count.
- Logs and assigns accession numbers to specimens and requisitions received.
- Sorts and triages requisitions and specimens to appropriate workstation; completes and files manifests.
- Answers telephones and communicates pertinent information. Send specimens and carriers to various sites using pneumatic tube or dumbwaiter. Performs minor troubleshooting of pneumatic tube through computer.
- Processes specimens including centrifugation, pour-off, aliquoting, and labeling.
- Registers short form outreach specimens received from clients.
- Performs a variety of routine duties to assist in laboratory processes, such as: Preparing reagents and stains, preparing slides and specimens, drawing blood, autoclaving and washing of glass wear, disposal of biohazardous waste, collecting occasional specimens from outreach patients at Biotech I.
- Performs assigned duties to assist in ensuring, an adequate inventory of supplies for assigned area. Monitors inventory levels and stores equipment and supplies in a neat and orderly manner.
- Maintains accurate records of processes performed, using manual and computer-based systems.
- Logs in error book specimens that are received without proper tubes or requisitions.
- Complies with all laboratory quality, health and safety policies, regulations and requirements and with established departmental policies, procedures and objectives.

The 8th floor Med/Surg specializes in caring for a variety of both medical and surgical patients. We provide inpatient care to patients with multiple diagnoses including sepsis, diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, gastrointestinal, respiratory, cardiac-tele monitored, infectious, kidney, and liver diseases. We also offer surgical care for pre/ post orthopedic surgeries, general surgeries such as bowel resections/ ostomies, pre/post laparoscopic procedure, bladder surgeries, and plastics. Caregivers utilize the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

- Participates in admission, transfer and discharge process under supervision of RN including room set up, orientation to room, removing linen, and proper management of patient belongings. Ensures patient call light is always in reach of patient and answers call-lights promptly.

Schedule and position requirements include:

- Apply ionizing radiation to patients according to physician prescription, noting any changes to prescription during course of Rx.

- Explain treatment procedures to patients in a sensitive manner.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. Goals for patient are realistic, measurable and developed in conjunction with the patient/family. Considers the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age specific and educational needs of the patient in the plan of are. Plans care in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team. Reviews and revises the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs based on evaluation of the patient’s status.
3. Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of the activities of the health care team. Provides care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements. Delegates appropriately, and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for whom care is provided.
4. Evaluates the patient's and family's response to care and teaching, and revises the plan of care as needed. Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other health care team members. Evaluates patient's response and the effectiveness of patient teaching.
5. Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record. Documentation is legible, timely and in accordance with policy. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. The Pharmacy Technician demonstrates consistent application of knowledge and skills in assisting the pharmacist in execution of appropriate, safe, efficacious, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care. Position Summary:
This position requires prior medical scheduling and high-volume call experience.
Holy Cross Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and customer-service–driven Call Center Representative to support our physician practices through efficient and accurate appointment scheduling. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive patient experience while meeting performance goals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This is a full-time position Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M EST. We offer excellent benefits starting your first day of employment.

What you will do:
Answer high-volume inbound calls with professionalism, empathy, and outstanding phone etiquette.
Schedule medical appointments across multiple specialties using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical office scheduling protocols.
Perform comprehensive patient registration, including demographic updates, insurance details, and verification of coverage and benefits.
Utilize medical terminology accurately during patient interactions and when communicating with clinical teams.
Verify insurance benefits and document eligibility to ensure accurate billing and seamless patient flow.
Maintain and meet call center KPIs such as call handling time, quality scores, accuracy, and service-level metrics.
Provide exceptional customer service by handling patient questions, concerns, and requests with courtesy and efficiency.
Use Microsoft 365 and other digital tools to manage daily tasks, communications, and documentation.
Collaborate with department management (manager, team lead, supervisor) to support patient needs and appropriate scheduling.
What you will need:
High school diploma required or higher level of education preferred.
1–2 years of call center experience in a high-volume environment with measurable KPIs.
Medical office or healthcare call center experience (previous work in a medical group or large healthcare system preferred).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
Experience with medical appointment scheduling and patient access workflows.
Proficiency in patient registration processes.
Demonstrated ability with insurance verification of benefits (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid).
High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft 365 applications.
Excellent interpersonal communication and exceptional phone etiquette.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., EPIC, NextGen, or similar).
Call Center Agent certification a plus
Working Conditions:
Requires long periods of sitting in a cubicle answering phones in Call Center environment.
