$18.85 - $28.30EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school enrollment, diploma, or GED equivalent. Food service or customer service experience preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Monitors quality of product at stations, ensures recipe compliance, and adherence to departmental guidelines. 2. Ensures that productivity, delivery, and serving line start time schedules are met. 3. Minimizes product waste and controls cost. Follows portion control guidelines and manages food and supplies. 4. Oversees that all equipment and supplies are properly utilized, maintained, and handled to avoid breakage. Performs utility and dish room functions efficiently. Properly cleans items for use in department. 5. Contributes to overall positive patient and customer satisfaction striving to meet the highest service and quality standards. 6. Maintains a 97% or better sanitation rating from the Health Department by following sanitation policies and completing daily/weekly cleaning assignments. Maintains a double gold rating from NSF. Ensures that Sodexo standards are consistently being met. Department maintains a minimum average Gold Check score of silver. 7. Follows all workplace safety and sanitation rules and regulations helping to maintain a safe work environment. 8. Completes required in-service training, job specific training, annual Compliance and HIPAA training, and annual TJC/OSHA training. 9. Participates in department?s performance improvement initiatives. Works as a team player and ensures that duties are performed accurately and efficiently. Provides support to other Food and Nutrition Services departments as requested by management. 10. Delivers, serves, and retrieves food trays in a safe, efficient, sanitary, as well as courteous manner, following proper protocol. Follows fire code and regulatory standards. 11. Demonstrates responsibility by interacting with patients, visitors, and staff as deemed appropriate. Resolves issues or concerns, provides assistance as deemed necessary. 12. Adheres to the hospital and departmental policies and procedures promoting a cooperative work environment. Demonstrates a personal responsibility and commitment to customer service and satisfaction by utilizing communication skills to interact with patients, customers, and staff to develop interpersonal relationships and team building. Position Purpose:
Provides Planned Maintenance (PM), safety testing, repairs, calibration, installation, routine and emergency service to general diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment, as assigned by the Clinical Engineering (CE) Manager.

What the Biomedical Equipment Technician Will Do:
Performs PM procedures on multiple types of general and specialized clinical equipment.
Performs PM procedures using manufacturers' recommendations, standards or code requirements, as well as industry acceptable processes as guidelines.
Performs Corrective Maintenance (CM) procedures including diagnosing problems using thermodynamic, electronic/electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or other related sciences and documents results of activities performed to comply with all regulatory and standards requirements.
Notifies equipment users and Clinical Engineering Management of repair status and delays as necessary.
Interacts with clinical staff to understand and resolve operational problems in scheduling and completing PM procedures while minimizing interference to hospital departments.
Determines need for replacement parts and supplies, selects the most cost-effective source, and submits properly completed parts request using established policies and guidelines. Obtains Clinical Engineering Manager pre-approval if not selecting the lowest price source.
Completes corrective and planned maintenance work order documentation per policy.
Promotes teamwork by keeping others informed, participating effectively in group decision making, works to accomplish team objectives and projects, and solicits feedback about one's effectiveness as a team member.
Continually improves processes by seeking ways to eliminate and reduce waste.
Has authority (based on department guidelines) to order parts and supplies required for emergency service or repair of medical equipment. Recommends test equipment and spare equipment parts to the CE Manager or Lead Technician.
Provides on-call service coverage per policy after normal business hours on a rotating basis, as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested by Lead Technician, Supervisor, or CE Manager.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associates of Applied Sciences Degree in related field of Medical Electronics, Electronic Technology or equivalent military related training required. CBET certification preferred
Must have a basic understanding of electronics, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
One to two-years experience or equivalent, performing corrective and planned maintenance on medical equipment per policy.
Working knowledge and ability to use basic hand tools and test equipment specific to the field. Ability to train CE associates on use and application of select test equipment.
Must have knowledge and understanding of OSHA, NFPA, The Joint Commission, CAP, FDA and other specific regulations and standards pertaining to clinical equipment service and repair
Ability to operate complex test equipment, analyze and interpret information provided by equipment and clinical staff to determineequipment operational condition.
Must have basic understanding of personal computer operation, applications, and ability to input data using keyboard. Technician must be able to follow complex written instructions, perform tasks and document actions taken.
Ability to provide or coordinate in-service training to clinical/professional staff on medical device basic operational and safety functions.

- Serve as the lead contact and resource for a team of six Imaging Assistants within the MRI department

Major Responsibilities:
- Acts as a resource to employees and students, which includes training/orienting, providing day-to-day work direction, and giving input on performance. Summary:
The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. The PFSR engages with the patient or guarantor to obtain pertinent information and answer any questions in an effort to ensure that all required demographic, financial, and insurance eligibility information is gathered and verified. Ensures all required notices and consent forms are signed accordingly.
Responsibilities:
Obtains pre-certification and authorization.Provides exceptional customer service and ensures all questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and courteous manner. May guide the patient to appropriate destination for services.Collects patient out-of-pocket responsibility per collection guidelines. Provides patient estimates as requested. Prepares and balances a daily deposit of all payment collections.May schedule walk-in appointments for services offered.May confirm physician and prescription orders ensuring accuracy.Interviews patients and guarantors at the workstation or bedside to obtain all necessary information, including a copy of the patient or guarantor identification card.May perform patient discharge functions including, but not limited to, review of after visit summary (AVS), future appointment scheduling, and referrals.Explains polices including all regulatory and financial consent forms; secures all required signatures.Verifies insurance benefits including obtaining insurance card(s) and confirms coverage is active. Determines correct insurance filing order, if multiple insurance coverages are effective for that service.

Under the direct supervision of the Diet Supervisors, the Dietary Aide performs a variety of food service, dish room duties, and cash handling duties as well as other related activities.Major Responsibilities
