Day shift 0600-1830, three 12hr shifts per week (Monday-Friday). Every third weekend. one major, one minor holiday. Self Scheduling
Pay Range:
$20.80 - $31.20Major Responsibilities:
- Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation which may include use of therapeutic assistive devices, proper positioning, range of motion and special transferring as indicated.
- Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs (Temperature, Pulse, Respiration), I & O (Intake and Output), daily weights, and other patient data as requested. Documents accurately in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Performs purposeful rounding under direction of RN and promptly communicates observations, concerns, and needs of patient/family to RN. Documents appropriately.
- Participates in admission, transfer and discharge process under supervision of RN including room set up, orientation to room, removing linen, and proper management of patient belongings. Ensures patient call light is always in reach of patient and answers call-lights promptly.
- Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated using approved process for accurate specimen labeling and identification. Maintains competency as required.
- Completes various errands as directed including pick-up and delivery of trays, charts, specimens, and reports. Maintains and orders stock for nursing area. Cleans equipment and work areas.
- Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties which require lifting and pushing/pulling while utilizing proper technique and assistive devices. Performs tasks related to nutritional needs of patient under direction of RN to include diet review, tray set up/removal, proper positioning and diet selection.
- Performs tasks related to maintaining skin integrity to include proper repositioning and skin care. Ensures special patient supplies and appliances are provided and maintained such as TED hose and sequential compression devices.
- Under the direction of RN and as determined by site/unit requirements, may be required to remove IVs, provide post mortem care, and bladder scans.
- Practices within policies and procedures of infection prevention by demonstrating hand hygiene and knowledge of sterile and aseptic procedures, proper disposal of contaminated materials and utilizing proper attire when in direct contact with patients in isolation.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days, and
- Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices.
Education Required:
- Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or
- High School Graduate.
Experience Required:
- None.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
- Must be able to:
- lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist.
- lift up to 20 lbs. over the head.
- carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
- Must be able to:
- push/pull with 30 lbs. of force.
- perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Will be required to use foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Must have functional vision and hearing.
- Will be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards as well as blood and body fluids on a continuous basis; therefore, protective clothing must be worn as necessary.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

- Review medical records for documentation accuracy and assign the correct CPT and ICD-10 codes to the claim. May conduct or assign audit reviews of coding and procedures specification.
- Performs and oversees all billing processes, including primary/secondary and rebilling, including necessary claim edits on both internal and external software systems.
- Remains knowledgeable and current on rules and regulations related to all government payers: Medicare, Medicaid, VA, etc.
- Checks clearinghouse transmission daily to ensure files are successfully transmitted to the intermediary. Works closely with vendors when problems or trends arise that impede work flow.
- Handles follow up on billed patient accounts to successfully collect owed balances. Posts payments as required via cash, credit cards, EFT and third-party vendors, etc.
- Reviews and adjudicates EOBs/RAs to determine if the Surgery Center was paid correctly by the payer.
- Deals with denials in an efficient and effective manner, handling appeals as needed to get claims paid.
- Remains actively involved in KPIs associated with the financial performance of the Surgery Center.
The ability to lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 pounds and, occasionally, lift carry, push/pull over 20 pounds. Standing, walking 30% of the time, and sitting 70% of the time. Eye/hand coordination, finger dexterity, color perception, functional visual ability and depth perception, functional sound perception and discrimination, functional verbal speech ability. Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, twisting, reach at/or above and below shoulder level. Routine balancing as it pertains to normal office environment duties.

This position is responsible for lifting, standing, and pushing patients in wheelchairs and on gurneys. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.

$20.80 - $31.20- Processes and maintains proper care of all surgical instruments and equipment, scopes and powered surgical instruments which includes inspection, evaluation of proper function, cleaning disinfecting and sterilization. Maintains quality control and documentation records of the sterilization process. Distributes designated supplies and equipment to all areas of the medical center.
- Receives soiled and contaminated items in decontamination area. Sorts equipment, rinses as needed, places equipment through sonic tanks and washers, reassembles trays, performs safety checks, hangs and sorts instruments, wraps sets according to set policy, and wraps towels and basins appropriately.
- Sterilizes instruments and equipment using the aerator, gas sterilizer or steam sterilizer and operates glass dryer. Packages items in steri/peel as required. Performs quality assurance testing for all methods of sterilization to ensure sterility of supplies. Hand cleans miscellaneous instruments (Baxter pump, hypothermo units, etc.) and operates the cart cleaner.
- Ensures proper care and handling of high cost instrumentation and equipment to include items requiring special handling, laser instrumentation, orthopedic implants, cardiac assist devices, endoscopic and microscopic instrumentation.
- May build case carts according to procedure and physician preference as specified. File case cart sheets and requisitions, responds to Code 4s with defibrillator and back up supplies, maintains CPR annies, tests autoclaves with the tests according to procedure, and changes graphs as necessary.
- Checks incoming trays and follows up with departments as to missing instruments or parts.
- Takes immediate and appropriate action if a question of sterilizer failure occurs.
- Receives and records orders for supplies as requested by departments. Records accurate product number and assures all forms are correctly completed for proper billing. Marks, dates and stocks equipment, which may include returning to appropriate department on a timely basis.
- Opens and unpacks supply boxes, checking for damaged goods and number of items received. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor. Performs credits for unused products returned, checks stock levels, copies supply sheets, checks carts for outdated supplies, and performs general cleaning of shelves.
- May performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.

Pay Range is $122,116.80 to $170,955.20 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.

Summary:
Performs receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with registering patient for inpatient and outpatient services.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing physician calendars.
Reviews patient charts to ensure imaging is available and all pertinent information to maximize appointment.
Work Department incoming referral work queue daily. Assist patients with appointments in other specialist offices as requested/referred by our physicians.

Builds critically important relationships with physicians, OR staff, as well as insurance representatives in order to help facilitate all scheduling duties.
Round with patients in practice to ensure Excellent Patient Experience is met. Follow-up on reported issues and assist with service recovery.
Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as necessary. Determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays and deductibles, or refers to financial counselors for follow up.
Performs general clerical duties including assisting with the front/back desk as well as scheduling appointments. Assist with signing up patients/Proxy with MyChart activations and Telehealth visits.

Summary:
Identifies patients at nutritional risk, plans and implements medical nutrition therapy for assigned populations.
Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the appropriate licensed clinician, and in keeping with unit specific standards, provides patient care to meet the personal needs and comfort of patients; and assists members of the healthcare team.As an integral member of the patient care team, serves both internal and external customers including patients, nurses, physicians and other colleagues who support the delivery of care and services.
The Patient Care Tech III (PCT III) brings an additional skill set to the table. PCTs that are performing unit secretary duties, telemetry monitoring, remote video monitoring, or are working in the Emergency Department, ICU, Dialysis, Spine Procedure Room, Endoscopy, Neurointerventional Radiology, Angiography, and Radiology Short Stay, and Harrington Telemetry Certified & Step-Down Unit are eligible for this level.
I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Provides clear, timely communication to the RN regarding observations and changes seen in patients. Examples, but not limited to changes in skin condition, vital signs, and/or mental status.
2. Provides constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned by the Resource Nurse or designee.
3. Participates in the development and maintenance of a safe environment. Works to utilize interventions to de-escalate patients and if unsuccessful participates in restraints in accordance with training and education as directed.
4. Assists patient with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, ambulating, meals and nourishment.
5. Assists in moving, lifting, positioning, and transporting patients by utilizing proper safety techniques and body mechanics in all work-related activities.
6. Maintains patient safety by performing patient safety checks, utilizing fall prevention alternative devices/strategies as directed, and following the Restraint Policy standards when caring for a restrained patient.
7. Takes and records vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure and pulse oxymetry). Measures and records patients’ height and weight.
8. Performs EKG’s, performs Point of Care (POC) tests and bladder scanning according to hospital standards. Collects, labels, and prepares specimens for transport to lab.
9. Phlebotomy in certain locations.
10. Demonstrates sensitivity and responsiveness to patients’ needs by acting as a source of information and approaches all interactions with the intention of building positive rapport and relationships.
11. Performs other selected unit specific procedures such as battery changes for telemetry units, checking status of unit equipment, cleaning equipment between patients and proper storage of supplies.
12. Assists RN/Licensed Independent Practitioner with treatments and procedures by preparing patient; obtaining and setting up equipment and supplies, such as intravenous and hemodynamic lines, and utilize sterile technique when indicated. Help in positioning the patient and providing the patient with emotional support. Clean up equipment and supplies following the treatment and/or procedure.
13. Observes, measures, records oral food and fluid intake. Sets up full strength tube feeding solutions and refills tube feeding bags as directed. Empties and records output, as approved, from a variety of sources, e.g., Foley catheter, ostomy appliances and drainage systems. Performs ostomy care on established ostomate patients as directed.
14. Answers telephone using appropriate telephone etiquette. Takes and relays messages. Utilizes intra-department communication systems, such as pagers and intercom.
15. Replenishes patient and unit supplies and equipment.
16. Keeps current with hospital and unit changes by reading communication boards and/or books, bulletin boards, posted notices and reads and responds to UMMHC e mails on a regular basis.
The PCT III must fit into one of these specialties:
Unit Secretary
Functions as unit secretary assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures at least 5 shifts (40 hours) every 6 months. Has administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to, maintaining logs, organizing patient care charts for admission/discharge/transfer and maintenance of medical records. Enters data or retrieves medical information from the electronic medical record systems.
Remote Video Monitoring
Continuously observes multiple patients utilizing the remote video monitoring system.
Emergency Department, Step Down Unit, ICU, Dialysis, Spine Procedure Room, Endoscopy, Neurointerventional Radiology, Angiography, and Radiology Short Stay.
Telemetry Certified & Step-Down Unit - Harrington
PCT IIIs are cross trained in phlebotomy and telemetry competencies, as well as the unit clerk position. PCT IIIs will also be assigned to areas of higher acuity, such as the Step-Down Unit.

7. Must be able to remain calm when under stress or in emergency situations.
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.

III. Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
Position requires work indoors in a patient care environment.
Hand dexterity, hearing and vision ability to take direction from a patient or provider, adjust equipment, observe and describe patient observations. Must be able to lift, up to 50 pounds. Work is of heavy demand, standing and walking most of the time with the possibility of pushing heavy equipment and bending frequently.

The Office Manger will supervise the daily operations of the facility to ensure a smooth, efficient operations process is carried out daily. You will work closely with Physicians to ensure that quality patient care is maintained.

Supervise and perform front end revenue cycle workflows to achieve key practice indicators for practice revenue cycle, including but not limited to the management of provider performance against MMG initiatives
Round with staff at assigned practice daily; ensure assigned practice maintain MMG standards of performance for huddles, staff meetings, and one on one meetings, supporting employee engagement and employee development goals
Ensure assigned practice maintain MMG standards for practice performance meetings and operating reports
Coordinate with MMG leadership in the initial preparation and development of an annual operating budget and monitor performance to budget Manage and oversee the business affairs of assigned practice
Utilize data to make informed decisions on practice operations and to provide updates to MMG leadership
Manage and report to Supervisor the patient experience and access at assigned practice
Hire, train, monitor and retain staff
Monitor performance of direct reports continually, provide additional training as needed, and conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports
Manage work schedules and ensure appropriate staffing
Supervise the management of inventory for medications and medical equipment and organize for resupply and maintenance
Manage security and occupational health and safety at assigned practice
Interact with patients and assist in patient complaint resolution; manage patient grievances per MMG policy
Partner with providers to achieve performance metrics
Collaborate with providers to develop business strategies and patient services
Support MMG in the recruitment and onboarding of Providers.
Assist in carrying out short and long-term practice growth strategies
Model leadership behaviors that support mission and goals of organization.
Lead practice-based committees for assigned practice to engage staff in operational decisions
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Bachelors degree in health care administration, public health, health information management or business administration is preferred. Three years of experience in a position with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Summary:
The Revenue Integrity Senior Analyst is responsible for managing and configuring Memorial Healthcare System’s complex applications to support organizational needs, including design, development, testing, and implementation of system rules and requirements. This role serves as a lead resource for Revenue Integrity services, ensuring reimbursement, charge capture, and billing processes remain accurate and compliant with monthly, quarterly, and annual updates. In collaboration with end users and department leaders, the Senior Analyst provides guidance, communication, and technical expertise to maintain efficient and compliant revenue operations.
Responsibilities:
Performs root-cause analysis and collaborates with departments for corrective actions. Organizes data and written information into draft projects and proposals. Analyzes business and business processes and data to identify opportunities and improve existing processes using information technology.Builds custom Work Queues, Revenue Guardian tools, and Charge Router/Handler rules to detect and prevent errors.Designs and runs projects independently, meeting with department leaders and staff, and developing strategies to solve charging and billing issues. Serves as a liaison between Revenue Integrity team and customers. Leads or oversees an entire business application module or system, providing mentorship and guidance to junior administrators to develop technical expertise. Provides expert and creative solutions by building new user requirements, functionality, or enhancements to drive efficiency, optimal functionality, and end‑user satisfaction.Maps revenue and UOS to correct GL accounts to ensure internal and external reporting is accurate.Conducts regular audits to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of charging and billing. Audits and reviews all CPT, HCPCS, and revenue codes prior to EAP build.Maintains data integrity when manipulating data files for purposes of analysis. Ensures data does not become corrupted in any way when performing analyses, through conscientious use of tools and a system of checks and balances. Spot-checks results of queries and reports to ensure meeting expectations before presenting finalized information. Runs data multiple ways to ensure accuracy of results.Ensures new software releases of the Epic system are set up correctly to prevent disruption or error in charge capture. Provides training and guidance to Epic Clinical Department teams to ensure proper use of EAP codes.
