Where You Will Work:
Aurora BayCare Medical Center is home to one of the region’s most advanced and innovative cardiac catheterization programs. Our Cath Lab holds the ACC Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation with PCI, recognizing excellence in both diagnostic and interventional procedures and demonstrating a strong commitment to high‑quality cardiovascular outcomes.
As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a key clinical role in delivering high‑quality cardiac care throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will support cardiologists and the interventional team by managing patient care during procedures while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of specialized cardiac monitoring and procedural equipment.
All cardiac catheterization procedures are performed in our state‑of‑the‑art hybrid OR Cath Labs, designed to enhance patient safety, streamline workflow, and eliminate the need for transport during critical situations by combining surgical and interventional technologies in one space.
Our team consistently maintains Tier 1 Team Member Engagement and Top‑Tier Patient Experience scores, fostering a culture grounded in collaboration, respect, and exceptional patient care.
We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- 2 years of Critical Care experience (ICU or ED) preferred

- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
- Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.

Summary:

Modifies technical factors to achieve desired results and recognizes complications / limitations associated with certain procedures. Proactively identifies how to address these for optimum outcomes.

QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Troubleshoots, calibrates and performs preventive maintenance and quality control on all equipment and analyzers per department guidelines, documenting activities. OB Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) - Bronson Battle Creek Birthplace - OB / Labor Delivery / Mother BabyThe Bronson Birthplace in Battle Creek has 15 beds – 11 for labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum (LDRP) care, 4 for antepartum/post-op care, 2 operating rooms and 3 triage bays. Additionally, the unit includes a newborn nursery. Here, pregnant, laboring and postpartum patients, as well as healthy newborns, receive comprehensive care. LPNs on this unit have the opportunity to care for postpartum couplets, assist in operating room procedures and provide support during deliveries.
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services which are within the scope of the practice of practical nursing to laboring, ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled persons as delegated, appropriate to the patient’s level of acuity and in accordance with established policies and procedures of the department and organization. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, and according to established policies and procedures, the LPN assists with surgical procedures as a scrub member of the obstetrical/surgical team. Prepares instruments and maintains a clean and safe obstetrical/surgical environment. The LPN will assist the Registered Nurse in collecting data, accompanying patients and responding to patient/family requests for services. The LPN may pass medications and administer IV therapy, per medication administration policy. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and successful completion of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nursing required.
Experience in health care delivery setting preferred.
Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the State of Michigan required.

- Assists the Physicians/CNMs/PNPs and nursing personnel before during and after deliveries.
- Tears down the OR, LDRP room following procedures and deliveries, and assists house-keeping with cleaning as needed. Cleans equipment and returns to appropriate places. Prepares and returns instruments for cleaning and sterilization. Returns unused supplies to appropriate places.
- Checks, orders and restocks supplies inventories, instruments and equipment in appropriate areas. Rotates stock, stocks patient rooms, supply rooms, procedure carts, medication room, and utility rooms.
- Picks up and delivers specimens, equipment, meal trays, blood products and stat pharmacy orders.
- Cleans, cares for, and is able to utilize the computers and Central Fetal Monitoring systems in the obstetrical area.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position will prepare, dispense, and compound medication under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide prescription support services for patients to ensure safe, appropriate, effective and efficient delivery of medication therapy. Provide excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, strong problem solving, documentation and computer skills. Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support pharmaceutical care activities, complete pharmacy billing activities, record keeping, reporting, inventory management, and arrange appropriate medication delivery.

Essential Functions
- Completes daily Procurement Requisitions for products and services received from departments and/or assigned commodity groups.
- Audits and reviews as the final gatekeeper of purchase transactions to ensure the purchase has received approval and is appropriate. Uses departmental standards and judgment to review factors including appropriate method of purchase, dollar value, purchase quantity, unit of measure, etc.
- Utilizes the most appropriate method of order processing to gain maximum efficiency and throughput. Follows established guidelines for order transmission type (EDI, phone, etc.). Follows policies and procedures that ensure the most cost-effective methods of procurement.
- Reviews all non-file purchase order lines and ensures sufficient information has been entered. If insufficient information has been provided, follows up to obtain additional information.
- Processes orders to meet delivery expectations of internal departments by ensuring orders are sourced and requested in a time-appropriate manner. Ensures that scheduled arrival of products or services coincides with requested delivery date.
- Provides follow-up on orders by reviewing appropriate reports (expediting / open orders) and supplier confirmations. Reviews open orders and provides notification to internal departments of delays in delivery. Works with departments to obtain substitute products, if required.
- Provides outstanding customer service by treating internal and external customers in a friendly, courteous, helpful, and considerate manner. Responds to voicemails and emails within 24 hours.
- Resolves invoice discrepancies and matches exceptions ensuring prompt and accurate payment to vendors. Establishes relationship with Accounts Payable, Receiving, and Contracting to resolve match exceptions.
- Manages return to vendor process by coordinating with departments and vendors. Follows through until credit is received for returns.
- Maintains strategic relationship with vendors to gain information and solve problems concerning supplies, invoices, deliveries, substitutions, pricing, and billing discrepancies.
- Ensures that contracted price is paid for products and services and identifies savings opportunities.

Job Summary
The Supplemental Physical Therapist assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plan based on the results of the evaluation. The evaluation may include measurements of neuromuscular and skeletal functions. The incumbent documents findings, progress and provides instruction to patients and caregivers. The therapist will provide recommendations and assists physical therapists and management team with program development. The therapist will be responsible to serve as resource and mentor; oversees the development, guidance and training of assistants, students, interns and rehabilitation technicians with regards to individual patient care.A physical therapist practicing direct access will examine and evaluate a patient's current conditions which may result in identification of movement and mobility dysfunction. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based Physical Therapy program

Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians. Assesses patients regularly to monitor progress towards treatment goals, and alters goals, plan or program as indicated.
Motivates and instructs patient/caregiver using appropriate methods.
Communicates effectively with patients/caregivers, professional colleagues to include physicians and insurance companies. Manages time effectively.
Documents appropriately in the medical record and completes other documentation duties accurately and efficiently.
Serves as clinical resource to staff, hospital, and/or system or departmental committee/task force. Provides leadership in an ongoing department interest/study group.
Demonstrates increasing expertise in treatment of a particular patient population.

$38.20 - $57.30Major Responsibilities:
- Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
- Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
- Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
- Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
- May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation.
- Pursues professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.
- Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics and practices ethical decision-making, respects interdisciplinary roles, and contributes to integrated, unbiased patient care.
- Appropriate delegation to other Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and unlicensed assistive personnel (i.e., nurse aides, credentialed medical assistants, etc.).
- Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
- May be required to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Certification / Registration / License
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.
- Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
Note: Licensed nurses practicing via telehealth/telenursing/virtual modalities are required to be licensed or hold the privilege to practice in the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located. Licensed nurses are responsible and accountable for knowing, understanding, and practicing in compliance with the laws, rules, regulations, and standards of practice of the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located.
Experience
Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in operating computer functions (e.g., E-mail, electronic records, digital platforms etc.) clinical, aviation, maintenance, communications, and administrative departments.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
- Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.
