Come join the Environmental Services team at Saint Mary's Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.
Position Purpose:
According to established procedures, performs repetitive cleaning tasks in order to maintain assigned Hospital area in an orderly and sanitary condition. In doing so, moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around Hospital departments, and performs a variety of heavy and light housekeeping duties. Utilizes Seven-Step cleaning, dry and wet mops floors, strips and buffs floors, shampoos carpets and removes stains from floors, walls, furniture, and the like.
What you will do:
Receives cleaning assignments, requests cleaning materials and supplies such as mops, buckets, electric buffer, vacuum cleaner, rags, disinfectants, and the like from designated areas. Mixes cleaning solutions, loads service cart and transports same to work areas
Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings, tile, fixtures and equipment with germicidal cleaning solutions. Scours and polishes sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, and the like.
Upon dismissal of patients, strips, cleans and makes beds with fresh linens, cleans other furniture and disposes of refuse by emptying wastebaskets. Restocks supplies of soap, tissues, towels, and other disposable items.
Sweeps and mops limited floor areas such as patient rooms and Hospital offices. Vacuums carpets using light vacuum, spot cleans carpets using appropriate solutions and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly manner after cleaning assigned areas. Dry and wet mops large areas of floors, and operates buffing equipment.
Cleans and performs routine maintenance on sanitation equipment and notifies supervisor of equipment needing further repair.
Visually inspects area upon completion of cleaning to ensure appropriate levels of cleanliness and neatness have been achieved.
Returns unused supplies to utility room, cleans carts and equipment and ensures items are stored in an orderly manner.
Performs heavy‑duty cleaning of floors and carpets. In doing so, removes soil and finish of floors by using mechanical stripping equipment and shampoos carpeted floors by operating mechanical shampooing equipment.
Washes, scrubs and disinfects walls, windows and doors and, when necessary, determines method of removing stains using a variety of cleaning equipment and supplies.
Gathers refuse from various Hospital locations and transports same in hand pushed cart to compactor or holding area. Following established sanitation procedures segregates bagged refuse and loads into compactor or holding area.
Moves furniture and equipment (such as mattresses, beds, and cribs) by use of handcarts or dollies.
Working Conditions:
Requires working with equipment or performing procedures where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises or muscle pulls.
May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at times such as masks, eye protection, ear protection, gloves and gowns.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic written instructions in English. Must also be able to comprehend verbal instructions and speak/reply in English.
3+ months of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Work requires the analytical ability to read and understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and make comparisons between numbers and letters. Must be able to safely move, lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. individually.
Requires working with cleaning chemicals and products in a safe manner.
Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and other motions involved in the cleaning process.
Floorcare Experience preferred.

Summary:
Provides direct patient care in an area designated as a specialty unit in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Positions require: One (1) year of acute independent nursing practice experience and a valid BLS and ACLS (for adults), from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas. PALS required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU.- if RN is coming from a non-pediatric background, they have 30 days from date of hire to obtain PALS. NRP certification required for NICU – if RN is coming from a non NICU background, they have 30 days from date of hire to obtain NRP. Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or through AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs must be completed prior to completion of job orientation. RN Fellowship Program requires one (1) year of RN independent practice not inclusive of nurse orientation. RN Fellowship specialties require ACLS and BLS Certifications. Summary:
The registered pharmacy technician I works under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists to provide distributive pharmacy services and support to the pharmacy department. Additionally, provides a high level of assistance in distribution, dispensing, and compounding of non-sterile medications, and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5K, contingent upon the applicant's qualifications and subject to certain eligibility requirements. Please note, that candidates must possess prior inpatient work experience to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
Prepares non-sterile compounded medications, including hazardous medications and cross trains in more advance functions when deem appropriateAssists with customer service and patient needs, including answering telephones, managing work queues and completing medication histories.Completes other responsibilities as assigned in support of pharmacy operations and within the pharmacy technician scope of practice.Prepares, fills, receives, delivers, stocks and restocks medication inventory and supplies for the pharmacy department and drug storage areas. Repackages bulk medications.Responsible for assiting with orientation and training of new pharmacy technicians and students students.Maintains and supports medication distribution systems and distribution channels, including automated dispensing cabinets, code carts, trays and kits.Process medication charges/credits when applicable.Performs prescription data entry in pharmacy system when applicable.

The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. CORE FUNCTIONS

5. Compounds non-sterile medication products. Understands and appropriately follows all product worksheets/recipes for documentation and check processes. Understands and adheres to all applicable USP compounding guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge of and consistently performs calibrations of equipment and accurately measures components for compounding. Repackages bulk medications into unit of use packaging. Completes accurate documentation of medications compounded and repackaged per policy.
6. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with all policies, laws, and regulations. Performs quality control activities such as monthly nursing unit inspections and pharmacy section checks in a timely manner. Completes documentation of refrigerator temperatures, and equipment maintenance activities as required.
7. Handles narcotic medications following all federal and legal requirements as set through policy and procedure. Understands all regulatory requirements for receiving, compounding, repackaging, and distribution for controlled substances. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Aurora - Burlington Medical Center located in Burlington WI is looking to fill a class with students that would transition into employment as a CNA at our Burlington Medical Center.
Training is held onsite at Aurora-Summit in Oconomowoc (36500 Aurora Drive, Summit, WI 53066) with the exception of a practice day and testing date that is held near our St. Luke's campus in Milwaukee.
Aurora Health’s CNA training program is a Wisconsin approved program for education and training to be prepared for Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant Certification Exam. In order to meet the requirements for the state certification exam all 88 hours must be completed. PERFECT ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED (including being on time for every class.)
Compensation: You will be paid $19.80/hr during class and clinicals. Once you pass your CNA exam and transition into the CNA role, you will receive an increase in pay to $20.80/hr.
Benefits: You will become benefit eligible once you are placed into a CNA position.
Once the CNA training class is completed, you will be assigned position as a CNA at Aurora-Burlington. You will want to ensure that the medical center in Burlington is a long term fit as we will not make exceptions to our transfer guidelines to other sites.
Major Responsibilities

Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens as indicated using approved process for accurate specimen labeling and identification. Maintains competency as required.
Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties which require lifting and pushing/pulling while utilizing proper technique and assistive devices. Performs tasks related to nutritional needs of patient under direction of RN to include diet review, tray set up/removal, proper positioning and diet selection and assistance in eating.
Performs tasks related to maintaining skin integrity to include proper repositioning and skin care. Ensures special patient supplies and appliances are provided and maintained such as TED hose and sequential compression devices.
Under the direction of RN and as determined by site/unit requirements, may be required to remove IVs, provide post mortem care, and bladder scans.
Practices within policies and procedures of infection prevention by demonstrating hand hygiene and knowledge of sterile and aseptic procedures, proper disposal of contaminated materials and utilizing proper attire when in direct contact with patients in isolation.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to observe data reflective of the patient's status and report the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. - Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation which may include use of therapeutic assistive devices, proper positioning, range of motion and special transferring as indicated. - Participates in admission, transfer and discharge process under supervision of RN including room set up, orientation to room, removing linen, and proper management of patient belongings. Ensures patient call light is always in reach of patient and answers call-lights promptly.

Maintains competency as required. Under direction of RN and as determined by site/unit requirements, may be required to remove IVs, provide post mortem care and perform bladder scans.
- Practices within policies and procedures of infection prevention by demonstrating hand hygiene and knowledge of sterile and aseptic procedures, proper disposal of contaminated materials and utilizing proper attire when in direct contact with patients in isolation.
- Coordinates tests and treatments with and between various departments for patients on nursing units. Maintains a working knowledge of functions and services offered by all diagnostic and treatment departments to facilitate the scheduling of tests and treatments. Maintains working knowledge of EHR system and other computer systems for ordering patient and unit supplies and equipment. Processes daily patient charges and/or related procedures through the system.
- Facilitates communications required to support patient care, including the multiple-line telephone, unit/site paging and the hospital information system. Screens incoming telephone calls. Monitors department office equipment and troubleshoots minor problems. Arranges repair of major malfunctions.
- Compiles necessary chart forms for admissions, transfers, discharges and expirations. Obtains appropriate copies of medical records for transfers to nursing homes and other health care facilities. Verifies medical records contain complete and accurate patient demographic information, patient identification and registration in the medical record, including appropriate level of care.
- Establishes and maintains positive customer relations and contributes to a harmonious work environment. Quickly and courteously acknowledges requests, responds to call lights, demonstrates proper phone etiquette and fosters communication between the health care team.

Education
Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.

13. Demonstrates sensitivity and responsiveness to patients’ needs by acting as a source of information and approaches all interactions with the intention of building positive rapport and relationships.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.
III. Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
Position requires work indoors in a patient care environment.
Hand dexterity, hearing and vision ability to take direction from a patient or provider, adjust equipment, observe and describe patient observations. Must be able to lift, up to 50 pounds.
Work is of heavy demand, standing and walking most of the time with the possibility of pushing heavy equipment and bending frequently.

Summary:
The registered pharmacy technician I works under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists to provide distributive pharmacy services and support to the pharmacy department. Additionally, provides a high level of assistance in distribution, dispensing, and compounding of non-sterile medications, and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5K, contingent upon the applicant's qualifications and subject to certain eligibility requirements. Please note, that candidates must possess prior inpatient work experience to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
Prepares non-sterile compounded medications, including hazardous medications and cross trains in more advance functions when deem appropriateAssists with customer service and patient needs, including answering telephones, managing work queues and completing medication histories.Completes other responsibilities as assigned in support of pharmacy operations and within the pharmacy technician scope of practice.Prepares, fills, receives, delivers, stocks and restocks medication inventory and supplies for the pharmacy department and drug storage areas. Repackages bulk medications.Responsible for assiting with orientation and training of new pharmacy technicians and students students.Maintains and supports medication distribution systems and distribution channels, including automated dispensing cabinets, code carts, trays and kits.Process medication charges/credits when applicable.Performs prescription data entry in pharmacy system when applicable.
