Summary:
Provides direct patient care in an area designated as a specialty unit in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities:

Additional Job Information:
Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience required. Other Information: Department specific credentials - See below-ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate Required for those RNs administering chemotherapy. APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card required within 12 months of hire for those RNs administering chemotherapy for oncologic indication within the pediatric setting. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas. PALS required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU.- if RN is coming from a non-pediatric background, they have 30 days from date of hire to obtain PALS.NRP certification required for NICU – if RN is coming from a non NICU background, they have 30 days from date of hire to obtain NRP. Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or through AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs must be completed prior to completion of job orientation. RN Fellowship Program requires one (1) year of RN independent practice not inclusive of nurse orientation. RN Fellowship specialties ACLS and BLS Certifications. Summary:
Performs a variety of duties to support an assigned Administrative Management member or members.

Summary:

The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. The PFSR engages with the patient or guarantor to obtain pertinent information and answer any questions in an effort to ensure that all required demographic, financial, and insurance eligibility information is gathered and verified. Ensures all required notices and consent forms are signed accordingly.
Responsibilities:
Verifies insurance benefits including obtaining insurance card(s) and confirms coverage is active. Determines correct insurance filing order, if multiple insurance coverages are effective for that service.Explains polices including all regulatory and financial consent forms; secures all required signatures.May perform patient discharge functions including, but not limited to, review of after visit summary (AVS), future appointment scheduling, and referrals.Interviews patients and guarantors at the workstation or bedside to obtain all necessary information, including a copy of the patient or guarantor identification card.May confirm physician and prescription orders ensuring accuracy.May schedule walk-in appointments for services offered.Collects patient out-of-pocket responsibility per collection guidelines. Position Purpose:
The Porter/Dishwasher is responsible for the delivery of food to various areas, Cheer cupboard, Trailer and Gengras Cafeteria. Brews and pours hot beverages. Sweeps and mops floors. Cleans equipment. Delivers and picks up coffee carts as assigned. Removes trash from the department. Supplies clean trays, dishes, flatware and food items.
What you will do:
- Transports food and supplies to various locations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains assigned department areas and equipment in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
- Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and the achievement of excellence by following departmental and hospital guidelines.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
- Stands, walks, pushes and pulls most of the day. Requires movement of 350# carts and lifting 75#. (Heavy supplies and equipment) Must follow written and verbal instructions.
- Position requires ability to frequently lift light objects o moderate weight less than 50 lbs.; perform moderately difficult manipulative, arm-hand steadiness and hand-eye coordination skills; walk and stand for prolonged periods; see objects closely and far away and hear normal sounds with some background noises.

The CVS Sonography Extern is responsible for communicating learning needs to the Registered Sonographer. The CVS Sonography Extern is accountable, under the direction of a Registered Sonographer, for setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and providing selected aspects of patient care within the CVS Sonography Extern Scope of Practice.
CVS Sonography Externs must be enrolled and maintaining satisfactory progress the final year of an accredited college program for Cardiac and/or Vascular sonography. Successful completion of CVS Department requirements for orientation includes Hospital, Core, and Department specific orientation.

Bronson Orthopedic Trauma, Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a dynamic Advanced Practice Provider (PA or FNP) to join their practice in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This position will primarily support the orthopedic trauma service at Bronson Methodist Hospital, the only Level I Trauma Center in Southwest Michigan.
The APP will provide comprehensive care to orthopedic trauma and foot/ankle patients in both the outpatient clinic and surgical settings. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients independently and collaboratively with physicians, assisting in the operating room, and coordinating treatment plans across the continuum of care.

What the Surgical Technologist Will Do:

- Coordinate and schedule laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.

- May be required to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Certification / Registration / License
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.
- Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services

Experience
Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
- Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.
