SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Follows the patient and family-centered care standards and provides direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Documents, where applicable, care administered, diagnostic measurements, treatments and procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responds to the call light system, contacting nursing personnel as appropriate, and follows through with meeting patient needs.
- Assists with maintaining, cleaning, and stocking of equipment and supplies as established on assigned unit. May serve as an in-house courier which may include retrieving blood, hand delivering labs, tele boxes, etc. Organizes the workflow, problem-solves basic and routine matters, and manages multiple ongoing priorities, seeking guidance and assistance from preceptor, licensed nurse, or management.
- Contributes towards improving department scores for patient satisfaction through peer-to-peer accountability, i.e., bedside shift handoff/report.
QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Reports observations, conditions and problems of patients to licensed personnel to achieve desired patient outcomes. Provides for the privacy of patients and families, keeping the safety of the patient in mind.
- Provides appropriate hand-off at change of shift at patient bedside to communicate and collaborate, promoting patient-centered care.
- Conducts hourly rounding to ensure patient needs are met (four P’s). Reports near misses and collaborates with the interprofessional health care team to improve patient safety.
- Contributes towards improving quality and safety scores, through peer-to-peer accountability. Supports initiatives to prevent conditions such as pressure injuries, patient falls, and hospital-acquired infections.
FINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assists with patient and staffing needs (floats) across the service line or hospital as competencies allow. Utilizes time between heavy workloads efficiently.
- Utilizes resources with cost effectiveness and value creation in mind. Self-motivated to independently manage time effectively and prioritize daily tasks, minimizing incidental overtime, assisting coworkers as needed.
GROWTH/INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Offers innovative solutions in performance improvement projects and shared governance activities.
- Seeks opportunities to identify self-development needs on knowledge base, skill level and decision-making, as necessary, especially in areas of question, from preceptor and assigned licensed personnel and takes appropriate action. Ensures own career discussions occur with appropriate management. Completes and updates the My Development Plan on an on-going basis.

Maintain provider templates for all department locations and making changes when necessary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain provider and department templates
• Receive ROF (Request off Forms for Physicians) needing time off, days or just certain time blocking provider template in Centricity System for request days and or time off
• Logging (ROF) forms in binder and calendar when completed in Centricity and send e-mails out to providers, administrative staff, and management
• Attend any meetings with regards to templating.
• Create and maintain clinic schedules
• Checking templates daily for all clinics making sure days and times are correct on schedules
• Change template upon e-mail communication from management
• Respond to various e-mails in regards to template changes
• Run Centricity Business Informatics reports for all clinics on the first day of each month for the prior month.

Summary:
The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing, evaluating, and reporting of technical laboratory procedures on patient specimens for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Follows established procedures to ensure laboratory quality control and compliance with professional standards of practice.

Performs accurate and appropriate testing of specimens received in the laboratory, according to established laboratory protocol and procedures.Reports test results in a timely manner according to established laboratory protocols.Follows established procedures for laboratory quality control, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.Effectively manages resources such as productivity, supplies, instruments and equipment. Plans work and completes job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.Serves as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.

Burn Tech, Part-Time Days, Bronson Methodist HospitalUnder the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and in accordance with defined policies and procedures for the unit, the Trauma Care Unit Burn Tech provides technical patient care to a defined patient population, as assigned by the Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of tasks related to burn care therapy and preparation of patients for operating procedures. Must have good knowledge of infection control techniques. Job training includes current burn care management techniques and wound care procedures. Duties may also include the performance of basic technical skills not requiring licensure, such as, but not limited to: gathering patient data, assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), transporting patients, supporting department maintenance activities (stocking patient rooms, moving equipment, ordering and procuring supplies, etc.), providing basic customer services (directions, visitor control, and other functions), as needed. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
Orientation Requirement
Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN team members must be able to commit to full-time orientation hours during the first 6–8 weeks of employment.
Orientation consists of three 12-hour day shifts (6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.) each week.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Previous experience and CNA license preferred
- Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advance Burn Life Support (ABLS) within 6 months of hire, and completion of burn care/management modules.

Skill and proficiency in oral and written grammar, communication and basic mathematics.
Work which produces levels of mental/visual fatigue which are typical of jobs that perform a wide variety of duties with frequent and significant uncontrollable deadlines. Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner (RNFA) or Physician Assistant) to join our Breast Surgery team in High Point, North Carolina.
This is a 1.0 FTE hybrid inpatient/outpatient position offering the opportunity to support patients across the breast surgery continuum of care. The APP will work collaboratively with the supervising physician and interdisciplinary care team while providing high-quality, patient-centered care in both the clinic and hospital setting.

Position Purpose:
Provides hospital and affiliated facilities with processed materials and equipment by executing established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization. Maintains efficient flow of processing procedures, through appropriate case set-up, anticipation of health care provider requests and patient care needs.
What the Sterile Processing Tech II will do:
- Properly identifies and decontaminates instruments through use of washer/decontaminator equipment and proper hand-washing techniques.

- Prepares instruments for sterilization through proper packaging, rigid container system, and wrapping techniques.

Physical Requirements
F TE is hired for 40 hours per week – 4, 8, 10 or 12- hour clinical shifts. In addition, training, education and call may be required. Day, night and weekend work is required. Must be willing to cover open shifts on short notice. Duties require working, transporting and driving in all weather conditions to include exposure to extreme hot, cold and wet weather. Must not have any physical, emotional or mental impairment to prevent them from riding, driving or administering patient care in a transport vehicle. $20.80 - $31.20Major Responsibilities:
- Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation which may include use of therapeutic assistive devices, proper positioning, range of motion and special transferring as indicated.
- Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs (Temperature, Pulse, Respiration), I & O (Intake and Output), daily weights, and other patient data as requested. Documents accurately in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Performs purposeful rounding under direction of RN and promptly communicates observations, concerns, and needs of patient/family to RN. Documents appropriately.
- Participates in admission, transfer and discharge process under supervision of RN including room set up, orientation to room, removing linen, and proper management of patient belongings. Ensures patient call light is always in reach of patient and answers call-lights promptly.
- Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated using approved process for accurate specimen labeling and identification. Maintains competency as required.
- Completes various errands as directed including pick-up and delivery of trays, charts, specimens, and reports. Maintains and orders stock for nursing area. Cleans equipment and work areas.
- Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties which require lifting and pushing/pulling while utilizing proper technique and assistive devices. Performs tasks related to nutritional needs of patient under direction of RN to include diet review, tray set up/removal, proper positioning and diet selection.
- Performs tasks related to maintaining skin integrity to include proper repositioning and skin care. Ensures special patient supplies and appliances are provided and maintained such as TED hose and sequential compression devices.
- Under the direction of RN and as determined by site/unit requirements, may be required to remove IVs, provide post mortem care, and bladder scans.
- Practices within policies and procedures of infection prevention by demonstrating hand hygiene and knowledge of sterile and aseptic procedures, proper disposal of contaminated materials and utilizing proper attire when in direct contact with patients in isolation.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days, and
- Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices.
Education Required:
- Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or
- High School Graduate.

- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

- Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF or others).
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
- Must be able to:
- lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist.
- lift up to 20 lbs. over the head.
- carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
- Must be able to:
- push/pull with 30 lbs. of force.
- perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Will be required to use foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Must have functional vision and hearing.
- Will be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards as well as blood and body fluids on a continuous basis; therefore, protective clothing must be worn as necessary.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
