Summary:
Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Epic provider record resource to support the management, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of provider records within the Epic. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for provider master file (SER) and provider-related configuration, ensuring that provider information is accurate, complete, appropriately maintained, and available across the Epic application and downstream systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with the Epic Provider Record, strong knowledge of Epic provider data and workflows, and experience supporting a large and complex healthcare organization. The resource will work closely with Epic application teams, Credentialing, Medical Staff Services, Human Resources, IT, clinical operations, security, and other stakeholders to ensure providers are properly established and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
The Application Analyst is responsible for administration and support related to Memorial's business or clinical applications. This role provides daily management of applications for moderately complex or standard applications. The Analyst also supports systems designing, building/configuring, testing, debugging and installation in partnership with business application vendors for technical support.
Responsibilities:
Performs work of moderate complexity for assigned business application including collecting and auditing information, analyzing data, and generating reports, preparing operating instructions, and compiles documentation of program development.Analyzes operational processes and data to identify opportunities and improve existing processes for workflow optimization.Maintains knowledge of current operational workflows that are supported through the business or clinical application.Contributes to the design and upgrade of clinical systems or business systems to ensure up-to-date versions that serve all necessary clinical or business needs. Documents application data needs and business requirements as input into application upgrades and modifications for the developers.Manage applications projects as needed. Supports end-users, in partnership with selected vendors if applicable, to provide customer service and classroom/virtual training for users.Participates in vendor selection, data management, and process improvement for assigned business application.Supports associate application analysts to develop application management skill sets and understand more complex Memorial systems.Builds and codes moderately complex applications and/or modules using common programming languages to configure and maintain applications. Tests, troubleshoots to user requirements, inquiries and problems and provides input in the development or modification of currently established processes and procedures to drive application efficiency.Develops digital tools to ensure they meet applicable regulations and standards.Maintains assigned application through partnership with technical experts, vendors, and technology teams to ensure the application continues to support end-users and to mitigate any functional or operational issues. Oversees application activities including the archiving of data and security administration, and electronic data received.Partners with other business applications management teams and contractors to identify synergies and opportunities for improvement, and works with vendors to ensure upgrades and configuration changes are maintained and accurate.Designs and maintains report structure and analysis needs in order to communicate application management findings and identify areas for improvement.

Summary:
Performs diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
May have to travel to satellite locations to perform diagnostic procedures.
Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
When ordered, prepares and administers ultrasound enhancing agents (UEA) and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports changes in status as thorough comprehensive preliminary report of study data to Physician staff.
Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.

- Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting/updating pertinent health information (i.e. chief complaint, allergies, medications).
- Performs laboratory procedures (i.e. strep test, wound culture, specimen collection, etc.) using principles of aseptic technique and standard precautions / infection control guidelines.
- Assists the physician/provider with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams, allergy scratch testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, etc.
- Administers medications, under physician/provider orders, including: immunizations, antibiotics, pain medications, vitamins, topical agents, and insulin. With limitations, initiates, maintains and discontinues IV therapy; administering selected fluids with pre-mixed medications.
- Provides basic patient education on the performance of tasks, skills, treatment and self-care. Follows through with necessary procedure or test requests, prescription refills, new appointment times and referrals to other facilities or services. Refers questions to registered nurses and physicians/providers per scope of practice guidelines and relays information back to patient as directed.

- Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated using approved process for accurate specimen labeling and identification. Maintains competency as required. Under direction of RN and as determined by site/unit requirements, may be required to remove IVs, provide post mortem care and perform bladder scans.
- Practices within policies and procedures of infection prevention by demonstrating hand hygiene and knowledge of sterile and aseptic procedures, proper disposal of contaminated materials and utilizing proper attire when in direct contact with patients in isolation.
- Coordinates tests and treatments with and between various departments for patients on nursing units. Maintains a working knowledge of functions and services offered by all diagnostic and treatment departments to facilitate the scheduling of tests and treatments. Maintains working knowledge of EHR system and other computer systems for ordering patient and unit supplies and equipment. - Compiles necessary chart forms for admissions, transfers, discharges and expirations. Obtains appropriate copies of medical records for transfers to nursing homes and other health care facilities. - Coordinates tests and treatments with and between various departments for patients on nursing units. Maintains a working knowledge of functions and services offered by all diagnostic and treatment departments to facilitate the scheduling of tests and treatments. Position requires work indoors in a patient care environment.
Hand dexterity, hearing and vision ability to take direction from a patient or provider, adjust equipment, observe and describe patient observations. Must be able to lift, up to 50 pounds.

Overview
The Health Record and Information Technician is responsible for the interpretation and preparation of all documents for precision scanning into the electronic medical record with strict attention to maintaining patient confidentiality guidelines for safeguarding patient medical information. This role is required to work within many different computer environments to
track, scan, identify, validate, and access medical records. The Health Record and Information Technician I is responsible for maintaining data and statistics to support functions within the department and for the needs of patients, providers, and other applicable entities.

Key Responsibilities
Health Information Management & Record Processing
- Retrieve, assemble, and analyze medical records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain electronic health record (EHR) systems by scanning, indexing, and validating documents in appropriate patient charts.
- Review provider documentation for required signatures, dates, and authentication.
- Process record requests, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies regarding release of information.
Data Quality & Integrity
- Verify accuracy of patient demographic and encounter data in EHR and health information systems.
- Conduct quality checks on scanned and uploaded documents to ensure legibility, correct patient matching, and completeness.
- Assist with chart audits and data validation for internal quality, coding, and compliance reviews.
- Support updates to patient information to maintain consistent data integrity across clinical, billing, and reporting systems.
Confidentiality, Security & Compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information in accordance with HIPAA and internal privacy policies.
- Report any potential breaches, discrepancies, or security issues to the appropriate compliance or privacy officer.
Customer Service & Communication
- Provide courteous and timely responses to internal and external requests for patient information.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, coders, and other healthcare staff to resolve documentation or record-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with release-of-information vendors, legal representatives, and external agencies as needed.
Other Requirements
- Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to meet process document standards as set.
Ability to focus on detailed processes and validate accuracy of others.
