Summary:
Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the strategic plan, strategic priorities and growth of ambulatory and population health pharmacy services. Oversees, directs, manages, and supports the clinical and operational activities, resources, financial performance and regulatory compliance for ambulatory and population health pharmacy services to ensure alignment with the mission, vision and objectives of the organization, the department, and the business line.
Responsibilities:
Directs and integrates inter-professional and multi-disciplinary involvement to improve care coordination and pharmaceutical services for patients. Collaborates with intra and inter-professional leadership to track and improve performance, quality of services provided, and patient outcomes.Provides leadership to enterprise programs across ambulatory services, care transitions, medication access, and health equity, with accountability for patient, financial, quality, and humanistic outcomes, including reduced readmissions, closed care gaps, and reduction of avoidable system costs.Develops and manages human capital, ensuring talent growth, performance, engagement, and effective operational integration across multiple program areas.Provides strategic oversight to mitigate patient medication financial toxicity and medication access by providing direction for patient assistance and drug replacement initiatives, ensuring alignment with system priorities and supporting reduction of uncompensated care.Prepares, monitors, and continuously evaluates departmental operational and capital budgets as well as service line financial performance.Oversees, implements, and manages service line(s) drug formulary and prior authorization process. Monitors, tracks and trends drug utilization for Memorial Primary Care (MPC), and implements activities to improve pharmaceutical utilization indicators for service line(s) {i.e., per member per month (PMPM) drug expense, generic dispensation rates (GDR), cost effectiveness opportunities, patient adherence, etc.}.Provides strategic leadership in the design, development, and management of data and programs to support outcomes, drive informed decision-making, and advance continuous improvement across patient care service linesSets and executes strategic vision by designing, implementing, and scaling ambulatory and population-facing pharmacy services, aligning care models with value, community, wellness priorities in support of organizational goals and emerging care delivery opportunities.Participates and represents Pharmacy Services in the various service line committees including Quality, Safety, Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) and Pharmacy Services Committees.Oversees compliance with legal, regulatory, safety, accreditation and licensure requirements across ambulatory practices, ensuring state of continuous survey readiness. Oversees, facilitates and responds to internal/external audits and regulatory visits.

Summary:
Performs sonography in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes images and identifies issues with the quality of images. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure if clinically appropriate.
When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department.

This position will work under the supervision of the pharmacist performing routine duties in packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and record-keeping of pharmaceutical supplies. Serves as a liaison between the customer and the pharmacist. Effectively uses pharmacy computer systems to investigate and respond to missing medication requests. Consistently demonstrates an ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action. Demonstrates proficiency in preparing compounded intravenous medications, total parenteral nutrition products, and chemotherapeutic agents within compliance with USP <797>/<800>. Ensures that the sterile compounding environment and all equipment are cleaned and maintained according to policy. May educate and train peer Pharmacy Technicians, Technician Externs, Technician Trainees, and Volunteers. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Identifies medications and other items for reorder as necessary to maintain a continuous inventory of medications and supplies. Receives, checks-in, and restocks medications ordered through the wholesaler and other vendors verifying all quantities against invoices. Assesses practical ways to deal with shorted items and short-dated or unusable items.
2. Manages users within the automated dispensing technology database as per policy. Investigates discrepancies and troubleshoots malfunctions in automated dispensing technology.
3. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills and is customer service oriented in all contacts with patients, visitors and staff. Responds to standard requests from internal customers. Interacts primarily with department personnel, cross-department personnel, internal customers, patients and physicians.
4. May use automated dispensing technology or requisition to restock medications to nursing and ancillary areas after checking by a pharmacist. When allowed by law and policy, and upon completion of proper training/competency assessment, may restock automated dispensing technology using barcode scanning verification devices. Restocks medications to all areas outside automated dispensing technology which may include but not limited to trays, code carts and emergency boxes.
5. Compounds non-sterile medication products. Understands and appropriately follows all product worksheets/recipes for documentation and check processes. Understands and adheres to all applicable USP compounding guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge of and consistently performs calibrations of equipment and accurately measures components for compounding. Repackages bulk medications into unit of use packaging. Completes accurate documentation of medications compounded and repackaged per policy.
6. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with all policies, laws, and regulations. Performs quality control activities such as monthly nursing unit inspections and pharmacy section checks in a timely manner. Completes documentation of refrigerator temperatures, and equipment maintenance activities as required.
7. Ensures the proper use of garbing and compounding techniques in accordance with policies and has knowledge of basic principles within USP <797> and USP<800>, laws, policies, and procedures that pertain to compounding. Performs compounding and labeling of intravenous compounds and hazardous agents to include chemotherapy using proper sterile and aseptic technique as appropriate to the site of care. Understands the different product lines in sterile compounding (patient specific and non-patient specific batch) and the differences between the various populations (Adult, Pediatric, Neonate). Completes all required environmental cleaning procedures. Documents all required tasks and other information per policy. Understands the safe handling of hazardous drugs and demonstrated the correct receipt, storage, labelling and transport process.
8. Handles narcotic medications following all federal and legal requirements as set through policy and procedure. Understands all regulatory requirements for receiving, compounding, repackaging, and distribution for controlled substances. Consistently adheres to all storage and inventory movement documentation requirements for controlled substances.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
Incumbents in Arizona are also required to provide the AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card at time of hire.
Minimum of two years pharmacy technician experience. Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand-held calculator is required. Strong customer service focus, exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, prioritization capabilities, superior problem-solving skills, and ability to multi-task. Must have knowledge of computer software, particularly medication management information system software, Microsoft applications and automated dispensing systems. Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills for interfacing with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and other contacts.

The Acute Pharmacy Technician performs medication packaging, distribution, compounding, and record-keeping under pharmacist supervision. Supports customers, maintains a compliant cleanroom, and assists with staff training while providing safe, age-appropriate care. This position is open to candidates who meet the qualifications for an Acute Pharmacy Technician. Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. Experience with sterile compounding, automated dispensing cabinets (Pyxis), medication distribution, and batch preparation is a plus; however, training is available for qualified candidates.
This part-time position offers a rotating schedule with a combination of first and second shift hours. First shift schedules may vary between 5:30AM to 2:00PM and 6:00AM to 2:30PM, while second shift schedules may vary between 1:30PM to 10:00PM and 2:00PM to 10:30PM. Candidates should be flexible and available to work any of the assigned shift times based on departmental and operational needs.

This position will work under the supervision of the pharmacist performing routine duties in packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and record-keeping of pharmaceutical supplies. Serves as a liaison between the customer and the pharmacist. Becomes proficient in preparing compounded intravenous medications, total parenteral nutrition products, and chemotherapeutic agents within compliance with USP regulations. Effectively uses pharmacy computer systems to investigate and respond to missing medication requests. Consistently demonstrates an ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action. May educate and train peer Pharmacy Technicians, Technician Externs, Technician Trainees, and volunteers. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Identifies medications and other items for reorder as necessary to maintain a continuous inventory of medications and supplies. Receives, checks-in, and restocks medications ordered through the wholesaler and other vendors verifying all quantities against invoices. Assesses practical ways to deal with shorted items and short-dated or unusable items.
2. Manages users within the automated dispensing technology database as per policy. Investigates discrepancies and troubleshoots malfunctions in automated dispensing technology.
3. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills and is customer service oriented in all contacts with patients, visitors and staff. Responds to standard requests from internal customers. Interacts primarily with department personnel, cross-department personnel, internal customers, patients and physicians.
4. May use automated dispensing technology or requisition to restock medications to nursing and ancillary areas after checking by a pharmacist. When allowed by law and policy, and upon completion of proper training/competency assessment, may restock automated dispensing technology using barcode scanning verification devices. Restocks medications to all areas outside automated dispensing technology which may include but not limited to trays, code carts and emergency boxes.
5. Compounds non-sterile medication products. Understands and appropriately follows all product worksheets/recipes for documentation and check processes. Understands and adheres to all applicable USP compounding guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge of and consistently performs calibrations of equipment and accurately measures components for compounding. Repackages bulk medications into unit of use packaging. Completes accurate documentation of medications compounded and repackaged per policy.
6. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with all policies, laws, and regulations. Performs quality control activities such as monthly nursing unit inspections and pharmacy section checks in a timely manner. Completes documentation of refrigerator temperatures, and equipment maintenance activities as required.
7. Handles narcotic medications following all federal and legal requirements as set through policy and procedure. Understands all regulatory requirements for receiving, compounding, repackaging, and distribution for controlled substances. Consistently adheres to all storage and inventory movement documentation requirements for controlled substances.
8. Becomes proficient in performing compounding and labeling of intravenous non-hazardous compounds using proper sterile and aseptic technique as appropriate to the site of care. Understands the different product lines in sterile populations (adult, pediatric, and neonate). Completes all required environmental cleaning procedures. Documents all required tasks and other information per policy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
Incumbents in Arizona are also required to provide the AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card at time of hire.
Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand-held calculator is required. Strong customer service focus, exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, prioritization capabilities, superior problem-solving skills, and ability to multi-task. Must have knowledge of computer software, particularly medication management information system software, Microsoft applications and automated dispensing systems. Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills for interfacing with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and other contacts.
Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire.

I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Provides clear, timely communication to the RN regarding observations and changes seen in patients. Examples, but not limited to changes in skin condition, vital signs, and/or mental status.
2. Provides constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned by the Resource Nurse or designee.
3. Participates in the development and maintenance of a safe environment. Works to utilize interventions to de-escalate patients and if unsuccessful participates in restraints in accordance with training and education as directed.
4. Assists patient with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, ambulating, meals and nourishment.
5. Assists in moving, lifting, positioning and transporting patients by utilizing proper safety techniques and body mechanics in all work-related activities.
6. Maintains patient safety by performing patient safety checks, utilizing fall prevention alternative devices/strategies as directed, and following the Restraint Policy standards when caring for a restrained patient.
7. Takes and records vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure and pulse oxymetry). Measures and records patients’ height and weight.
8. Performs EKG’s, performs Point of Care (POC) tests and bladder scanning according to hospital standards. Collects, labels and prepares specimens for transport to lab.
9. Phlebotomy in certain locations.
10. Performs other selected unit specific procedures such as battery changes for telemetry units, checking status of unit equipment, cleaning equipment between patients and proper storage of supplies.
11. Assists RN/Licensed Independent Practitioner with treatments and procedures by preparing patient; obtaining and setting up equipment and supplies, such as intravenous and hemodynamic lines, and utilize sterile technique when indicated. Help in positioning the patient and providing the patient with emotional support. Clean up equipment and supplies following the treatment and/or procedure.
12. Observes, measures, records oral food and fluid intake. Sets up full strength tube feeding solutions and refills tube feeding bags as directed. Empties and records output, as approved, from a variety of sources, e.g., Foley catheter, ostomy appliances and drainage systems. Performs ostomy care on established ostomate patients as directed.
13. Demonstrates sensitivity and responsiveness to patients’ needs by acting as a source of information and approaches all interactions with the intention of building positive rapport and relationships.
14. Provides respectful, culturally and age-appropriate communication with patients, staff, family, visitors and others.
15. Replenishes patient and unit supplies and equipment.
16. Requests assistance from identified resources when more direction is needed.
17. Keeps current with hospital and unit changes by reading communication boards and/or books, bulletin boards, posted notices and reads and responds to UMMHC e mails on a regular basis.
18. Has the ability to precept new Patient Care Technicians.

Summary:
The Vice President of Operations serves as a member of the Memorial Hospital Pembroke (MHP) Administrative team and assists with leading direction and strategic planning to achieve the organization's mission, directives, and goals. Participates in Safety, Quality and Service initiatives. Assists in assuring that MHPs plan is consistent with Hospital District goals and objectives, mission and vision. Leads and develops hospital leaders, strengthens workforce engagement, and promotes a culture of collaboration, accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Partners with clinical and physician leaders to advance quality, patient safety, patient experience, access, throughput, capacity management, and overall operational performance.
Provides executive leadership and oversight of hospital operations, ensuring effective coordination, integration, and performance across assigned clinical and non-clinical functions.
Ensures hospital-wide and specifically department compliance with accrediting agencies, federal, state and local regulatory agency standards.

Provides Planned Maintenance (PM), safety testing, repairs, calibration, installation, routine and emergency service to general diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment, as assigned by the Clinical Engineering (CE) Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs Corrective Maintenance (CM) procedures including diagnosing problems using thermodynamic, electronic/electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or other related sciences and documents results of activities performed to comply with all regulatory and standards requirements.
Notifies equipment users and Clinical Engineering Management of repair status and delays as necessary.
Interacts with clinical staff to understand and resolve operational problems in scheduling and completing PM procedures while minimizing interference to hospital departments.
Determines need for replacement parts and supplies, selects the most cost effective source, and submits properly completed parts request using established policies and guidelines.
Completes corrective and planned maintenance work order documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates of Applied Sciences degree in medical electronics, electronic technology or related field, including comparable military training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to two-years experience performing corrective and planned maintenance on medical equipment per policy.
Must have a basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Working knowledge and ability to use basic hand tools and test equipment specific to the field. Ability to train CE associates on use and application of select test equipment.

Position Purpose:
According to established procedures, performs repetitive cleaning tasks in order to maintain assigned Hospital area in an orderly and sanitary condition. In doing so, moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around Hospital departments, and performs a variety of heavy and light housekeeping duties. Utilizes Seven-Step cleaning, dry and wet mops floors, strips and buffs floors, shampoos carpets and removes stains from floors, walls, furniture, and the like.
What you will do:
- Receives cleaning assignments, requests cleaning materials and supplies such as mops, buckets, electric buffer, vacuum cleaner, rags, disinfectants, and the like from designated areas. Mixes cleaning solutions, loads service cart and transports same to work areas
- Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings, tile, fixtures and equipment with germicidal cleaning solutions. Scours and polishes sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, and the like.
- Upon dismissal of patients, strips, cleans and makes beds with fresh linens, cleans other furniture and disposes of refuse by emptying wastebaskets. Restocks supplies of soap, tissues, towels, and other disposable items.
- Sweeps and mops limited floor areas such as patient rooms and Hospital offices. Vacuums carpets using light vacuum, spot cleans carpets using appropriate solutions and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly manner after cleaning assigned areas. Dry and wet mops large areas of floors, and operates buffing equipment.
- Cleans and performs routine maintenance on sanitation equipment and notifies supervisor of equipment needing further repair.
- Visually inspects area upon completion of cleaning to ensure appropriate levels of cleanliness and neatness have been achieved.
- Returns unused supplies to utility room, cleans carts and equipment and ensures items are stored in an orderly manner.
- Performs heavy‑duty cleaning of floors and carpets. In doing so, removes soil and finish of floors by using mechanical stripping equipment and shampoos carpeted floors by operating mechanical shampooing equipment.
- Washes, scrubs and disinfects walls, windows and doors and, when necessary, determines method of removing stains using a variety of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Gathers refuse from various Hospital locations and transports same in hand pushed cart to compactor or holding area. Following established sanitation procedures segregates bagged refuse and loads into compactor or holding area.
- Moves furniture and equipment (such as mattresses, beds, and cribs) by use of handcarts or dollies.
Working Conditions:
- Requires working with equipment or performing procedures where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises or muscle pulls.
- May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at times such as masks, eye protection, ear protection, gloves and gowns.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic written instructions in English. Must also be able to comprehend verbal instructions and speak/reply in English.
- 3+ months of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Work requires the analytical ability to read and understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and make comparisons between numbers and letters. Must be able to safely move, lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. individually.
- Requires working with cleaning chemicals and products in a safe manner.
