Job Summary:
Registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient regardless of age (i.e. infancy to geriatric) assigned to his/her care and is responsible for the patient’s care within the parameters of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act. The registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes, quality of care and initiates change through active involvement in unit-based and hospital shared- governance councils. National Professional Nursing Standards serve as guidelines for the registered nurse as he/she utilizes critical thinking skills and exercises appropriate nursing judgment. The registered nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes . Also, the registered nurse will serve as a role model by actively participating in the process of continuous professional development, teaching and learning across the healthcare continuum.

- Individuals hired as a Staff RN prior to October 1, 2013 are grandfathered and exempt from additional BSN requirements.
- Individuals hired as a Staff RN with at least 10 years of Staff RN experience who don’t hold a BSN will be required to either (a) obtain a BSN by enrolling in a program within one year of hire and completing within 5 years of employment or (b) obtain a specialty certification within one year of employment.
- Individuals hired as a Staff RN with less than 10 years of Staff RN experience who don’t hold a BSN will be required to obtain a BSN by enrolling in a program within one year of hire and completing within 5 years of employment.

Seeking Speech Language Therapist!
Part-time, 1st shift, rotating weekends and holiday requirement
Baptist Health Floyd, Speech Therapy, Acute care and outpatient Speech Language Pathologist located within the hospital at Baptist Health Floyd.
Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area
This position is responsible for the supervision of all Speech-Language Pathologists, Coordinator, and the day-to-day operations of the Speech Pathology Department while also providing direct patient care.

What You'll Do
The Director Cardiovascular Service Line provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the full continuum of cardiovascular care across the health system, including inpatient and outpatient cardiology, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery and vascular medicine, interventional and structural cardiac programs, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular interventions, cardiac and vascular imaging, and cardiac rehabilitation. This role partners closely with physician leadership (Service Line Medical Director, often representing both cardiology and vascular/cardiac surgery), nursing leadership, and hospital administration in a dyad model to drive clinical quality, patient experience, growth, and financial performance across all sites of care. The Director is accountable for translating system strategy into an integrated service line plan that spans the inpatient, ambulatory, and post-acute cardiovascular care journey across cardiology and surgical/vascular disciplines.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the operating leader for the cardiology service line.
Partner in a physician-administrator dyad with the Service Line Medical Director to set and execute service line strategy.
Develop and execute multi-year service line growth plans, including program development (e.g., structural heart, advanced heart failure, electrophysiology, complex peripheral and vascular surgery), market expansion, and outreach clinic strategy.
Own the service line's annual operating and capital budgets; monitor volumes, revenue, expense, and productivity, and lead corrective action plans to meet financial targets.
Oversee daily operations of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and vascular labs, non-invasive cardiac and vascular imaging and diagnostics, cardiology and vascular surgery clinics, and cardiac rehabilitation programs.
Lead service line quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives in collaboration with clinical leaders, including registry participation, accreditation readiness, and core measure performance.
Drive physician engagement, recruitment planning, and alignment strategies across cardiology and cardiac/vascular surgery, in partnership with medical staff leadership.
Manage service line staffing strategy, workforce planning, and leadership development for direct and matrixed reports across multiple departments and sites.
Lead or support service line contracting strategy, including supply chain/value analysis for cardiovascular devices and implants, in partnership with supply chain and finance.
Represent the service line in payer strategy discussions, bundled payment and value-based care initiatives, and managed care contract negotiations as needed.
Ensure regulatory compliance across all cardiology sites, including CMS Conditions of Participation, and applicable state regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, community partners, and regional outreach sites to support network integration and patient access.
Lead change management and performance improvement initiatives.
Report service line performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to system leadership and the board as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field Master’s degree in MHA, MBA, or MSN preferred.
Minimum 5-10 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, including at least 3 years in cardiovascular, cardiac surgery, vascular, or a comparable complex procedural service line.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:
Graduate of a school of nursing, Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred, with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island. Conformity to the Code of Professional Nurses. Understanding of the provisions of the Nurse Practice Act of the state of Rhode Island.
