Where You Will Work:
Aurora Lakeland Medical Center features a newly remodeled and expanded Emergency Department staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, offering 22 beds and an RN-to-patient ratio of 3:1, along with being a dedicated Geriatric Certified ED. The hospital is Stroke Certified, a Level III Trauma Center, and Chest Pain Accredited, and has been recognized as a LANTERN Award recipient for 2025–2028; when specialized care is needed, patients have direct access to advanced services at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
We’re Looking For:
oCompletion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
oRegistered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
oBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
oAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.

oAs a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Where You Will Work:
The Brenner Pediatric Emergency department is composed of 24 beds with two of those being our dedicated Trauma Bays. The emergency department specializes in treating children up to age of 17 with a broad spectrum of illness and injuries including orthopedic, respiratory, cardiac, chronic illness, abuse, psychiatric care and of course trauma. We became a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in 2011 and have continuously upheld this Credential. We see approximately 600 plus traumas including burn activations a year in the department as we are also a dedicated Burn center. We offer a robust trauma program to our nursing staff that includes a trauma bootcamp, trauma team lead course, Trauma Nursing Core Course, and quarterly trauma simulations to ensure our staff have adequate training and knowledge to provide the upmost care to our community. We also have a growing SANE team that is available or on call to provide care to abused children. We pride ourselves on offering extraordinary and ever evolving care to our pediatric population while encouraging and providing areas of ongoing growth to our nursing staff. $44.15 - $66.25The Manager of Medical Education is responsible for daily operational oversight of Graduate Medical Education (GME) activities at either BroMenn Medical Center (ABMC), Christ Medical Center (ACMC), Illinois Masonic Medical Center (AIMMC) or Lutheran General Hospital (ALGH). This position will work in collaboration with the Advocate Chief Academic Officer (CAO) /Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Vice President, Medical Management (VPMM), and Executive Director of Medical Education (EDME) to assist with ensuring institutional (System) policies and procedures are carried out at the individual sites, help design and implement decisions of the Advocate Graduate Medical Education Committee (AGMEC), and assist the EDME with the operations and accreditation functions at the sites.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Graduate and Undergraduate Medical Education (GME/UME) programs, ensuring effective delivery of educational services across the site.
- Lead and supervise medical education staff, including program coordinators and UME coordinators, through performance management, coaching, resource allocation, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with ACGME, institutional, regulatory, and accreditation standards by overseeing program evaluations, accreditation activities, policies, reporting, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Direct resident and fellow recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, licensure, visa processing, orientation, advancement, graduation, and training verification processes.
- Collaborate with institutional leadership, program directors, faculty, and administrative stakeholders to support GMEC activities, accreditation reviews, resident engagement initiatives, and educational program success.
- Oversee resident and fellow administrative and human resource functions, including payroll monitoring, leave management, benefits administration, wellness referrals, due process procedures, and required training compliance.
- Manage program budgets, financial reporting, reimbursement processes, restricted funds, and resource planning to ensure fiscal responsibility and operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate affiliation agreements, contracts, and educational partnerships while ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary site resource for medical education matters, supporting students, residents, fellows, faculty, and leadership while promoting a positive learning environment and educational excellence.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education or health-related field. 5 years’ of supervisory or management experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong knowledge of graduate and/or undergraduate medical education principles, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements; experience with ACGME accreditation processes preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, including the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and lead teams in a complex healthcare environment.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills with the ability to coordinate competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information, make sound decisions, and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience evaluating processes, implementing improvements, and adapting to organizational change.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related business applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and function effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare environment.

Where You Will Work:
6CD is a dynamic Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit designed to support patient flow and throughput within the hospital. As part of a Level 1 Trauma Center, the unit plays a critical role in decompressing the Emergency Department by facilitating timely admissions and discharges.
The team on 6CD provides comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of clinical diagnoses, including acute medical conditions, post-operative recovery, and telemetry monitoring needs. Staffed by experienced nurses and clinical professionals, the unit emphasizes comprehensive assessment, stabilization, and transition planning to ensure safe and efficient patient movement across the continuum of care.

The Satellite department consists of 4 Med/Surg, Medical Telemetry units, totaling 34 beds. Our units are dedicated to delivering safe and quality care to patients seamlessly, while optimizing patient flow and capacity by alleviating pressure on the Emergency Department. Clinical massage therapy focuses on specific medical conditions, injuries, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions. $25.30 - $37.95Major Responsibilities:
- Performs assessment of client status and formulates a massage treatment plan in accordance with the client's goals and massage practice standards; ensures assessments reflect synthesis of gathered data into an appropriate plan of care. Recognizes client's inability to attain goals and consults with appropriate personnel.
- Identifies contraindications to massage and takes recommended precautions. Contraindications include phlebitis or thrombophlebitis, edema, skin conditions, mononucleosis, acute rheumatoid arthritis, infection, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, malignancy, insulin-depended diabetes, medications, and acute inflammatory conditions.
- Completes all required documentation within the same business day of the client's visit.
- Performs massage therapy to assigned patients utilizing appropriate methods according to licensure guidelines and professional practice. Incorporates appropriate type of relaxation massage into sessions (i.e., neuromuscular, craniosacral, lymph, reflexology) to meet the needs of patient's history and goals.
- Tailors education to meet the age-specific and individualized needs of the client. Takes an active role in program development and contributes ideas for the development of promotional materials and community education.
- Prepares treatment area before patient arrival; prepares equipment, sets environmental lighting and music to create relaxing atmosphere. Provides an environment consistent with accepted standards of sanitation, hygiene, safety, and Universal Precautions. Responsible for cleanup after treatment, which includes sanitizing equipment and maintaining neat, orderly workstations.
- Acknowledges confidential nature of the professional relationship with a client and respects each client's right to privacy. Seeks out methods to meet privacy needs by providing adequate draping, etc.

- Creates the initial electronic health record that serves as the foundation of the patient medical record that is utilized by all members of the healthcare team. Prevents creation of duplicate medical records that can cause treatment safety issues and billing problems. - Checks in and registers patients; obtains and verifies complete demographic, guarantor, and insurance information; discusses and collects co-pays and other out-of-pocket patient responsibilities. Obtaining accurate information at the point of registration helps ensure timely payment to the organization and prevents billing issues and patient complaints. The ST administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. The Speech Language Pathologist ensures patient charges are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Speech Language Pathologists coordinate, delegate and supervise responsibilities assigned to support staff (OT /PT Aide, etc.) The Speech Language Pathologist participates in operational aspects of the department, contributing to performance improvement and CQI activities. Speech Language Pathologists participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.

Prevents creation of duplicate medical records that can cause treatment safety issues and billing problems. - Checks in and registers patients; obtains and verifies complete demographic, guarantor, and insurance information; discusses and collects co-pays and other out-of-pocket patient responsibilities.
