- Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
- Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
- Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
- Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
- May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation.
- Pursues professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.
- Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics and practices ethical decision-making, respects interdisciplinary roles, and contributes to integrated, unbiased patient care.
- Appropriate delegation to other Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and unlicensed assistive personnel (i.e., nurse aides, credentialed medical assistants, etc.).
- Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
- May be required to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Certification / Registration / License
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.
- Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
Note: Licensed nurses practicing via telehealth/telenursing/virtual modalities are required to be licensed or hold the privilege to practice in the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located. Licensed nurses are responsible and accountable for knowing, understanding, and practicing in compliance with the laws, rules, regulations, and standards of practice of the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
- Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.

- LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: C.F.E.R. or CER Certification required from either The Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc. (CBSPD) (Certified Flexible Endoscop Reporcessor - C.F.E.R) or International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) (Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (C.E.R). Current BLS certification. Current High Level Disinfection (HLD) competency training with annual renewal.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Operates all department equipment in designated decontamination areas and promptly reports issues to the Assistant Nurse Manager of Endoscopy. 2. Performs manual and/or automated decontamination of scopes and other instruments. 3. Inspects scopes and instruments to ensure cleanliness and proper functionality. 4. Assembles scopes and instruments into proper carrying containers according to procedure room needs. 5. Packages special instruments according to manufacturer's instructions. 6. Performs required decontamination and verifies adequacy of the process. 7. Maintains documentation of decontamination processes utilizing Endora system. 8. Stores scopes and other instruments in identified location. 9. Collect instruments for special sterilization, delivers to the specific areas for sterilization, and picks up instruments post sterilization process for storage or immediate use in the Endoscopy unit. 10. Participates in the department's monthly meetings and educational training opportunities. 11. Assists other team members as needed, such as delivery of specimen to the pathology laboratory area and other errands assisting workflow and patient throughput. 12. Protects self, coworkers, and facility by following policies and procedures concerning the prevention of spreading blood borne and or airborne contaminates/diseases. 13. Exhibits competency in assisting general endoscopic procedures within the Endoscopy unit, at the patient's bedside in critical care, and in OR such as EGD, colonoscopy, specimen collection, snares, biopsy forceps, and dilations.
- SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient communication skills Ability to operate equipment such as Endora tracking system, Medivators, Dri-scope, Veriscan, Scope Buddy, and other devices related to scope decontamination and disinfecting of other instruments Knowledge of instrument IFU?s, care/disposal of solutions in use in the decontamination room, and scope/scope cabinet cleaning schedules Ability to show competency in scope handling during general GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, use of snares and biopsy forceps, dilation procedures, and assistance in doing travel GI cases in critical care and OR

What You’ll Do:

Position works in person at the Aurora Behavioral Health Center Sheboygan covering in adult and adolescent behavioral health day treatment (PHP/IOP) programs. Position works Monday through Friday 8-12pm with no weekends, holidays or on call. Additional hours may be available with this position as determined by department need.
Pay Range:
$35.50 - $53.25- Provides quality individual, couple, family and/or group therapy, which are focused on the patient's identified diagnosis and needs. Provides crisis intervention to new and current patients as needed. Is available 24 hours a day as needed for current caseload.
- Provides clinical/therapeutic services to a diverse client population. Accepts and treats all patients as identified or assigned willingly and with professionalism. Applies brief therapeutic intervention model as appropriate.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, formulates and monitors individualized treatment plans and treatment interventions which are in accordance with the department's Provision of Care and the Hospital's policies.
- Provides case management and utilization review services for patient in his/her assigned caseload. Provides education to patient and family as needed.
- Makes appropriate referrals to services within the Hospital and Aurora Behavioral Health Services or outside if needed. Serves as a liaison with these referral sources in coordination with other staff to insure continuity of care in discharge planning.
- Actively participates in clinical supervision and peer review activities. Provides consultation with other professionals, including ongoing clinical team treatment staffing.
- Provides community education and outreach, including referral development and marketing efforts to generate new business. Willingly accepts this as a necessary part of their job above and beyond caseload requirements.
- Accurately completes all documentation responsibilities as outlined in department/service area procedures within established timelines. Documentation responsibilities include but are not limited to: treatment plans, discharge summaries, aftercare plans, records for billing, etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
Essential Functions

Major Responsibilities:
Interprets physician referrals, as appropriate, and completes musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations utilizing appropriate methods.
Establishes a plan of care and implements individual treatment based on evaluation results and functional goals and by utilizing appropriate techniques. Monitors and evaluates outcomes and appropriately adjusts the individualized treatment plan based on the patient's response to treatment and provides status updates to physicians and other teammates. Identifies factors affecting patient's physical and psychosocial comfort and attends to these needs.

You are the eyes, the ears, and the voice of the patient during one of the most vulnerable times of a person’s healthcare journey. The OR is highly interdependent and team based. You will work closely with surgeons, residents, advanced practice clinicians, anesthesiologists, technologists and assistants to provide superior surgical outcomes. Your orientation and practice environment is rooted in the specialty standards and educational programs of the Association of Perioperative Nurses (AORN). Your extensive RN orientation includes exposure to both circulating and scrub competencies.
The unit has 12 OR suites in the main hospital and 6 state of the art operating rooms in the Outpatient Center for Advanced Care. The surgical services division also provides pre and post-operative care focusing on the education of patients and families and providing smooth transitions between settings for the best patient outcomes. The OR performs all specialty surgeries except transplants, and offers state-of-the-art equipment and services. The surgery department is staffed 24 hours during the week.

Position works Monday through Friday 8-4:30pm in person at the Aurora Behavioral Health Center in Sheboygan. - Provides individual and group therapeutic services in the inpatient level of care.
- Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team by reviewing assessment data, case management, intake, and other discipline data. Ensures goals identified in the treatment plan are clinically appropriate to the stated problems, development focused, measurable and achievable within current anticipated lengths of stay and updates treatment plans as appropriate.

Evaluates technical quality of images and consults with a Radiologist if needed. Recognizes abnormal anatomy and processes any additional, reconstructed images, and/or measurements as instructed.
Performs basic patient care functions. Informsappropriate nursing personnel of any changes in the patient’s condition. Initiates life support measures for patients when necessary. Assists in “code blue” procedures during medical emergencies.
Performs MRI scanning and assists Physicians/PA during invasive procedures. Practices proper sterile technique in the preparation of necessary supplies. Performs all invasive procedures in accordance with bloodborne pathogens, isolation, and infection control policies and procedures.
Is authorized to obtain medication or contrast material as directed for administration by a licensed practitioner.
Practices principle of radiation safety for self, employees, patients and family members. Follows appropriate radiation safety standards.
Reports malfunctioning equipment to the department director/manager/supervisor and clinical engineering/radiology engineer.
Maintains knowledge and skills required to work safely in an environment that can create significant exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious disease.
Adheres to the hospital fire and safety procedures. Attends all in-service classes and completes all required safety modules.
Operates radiology computer system to include entering orders and charging procedures/supplies. Documents contrast administration in the MAR.
Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion. Keeps area completely stocked. Cleans all work areas to promote cleanliness in the workplace.
Assists other medical personnel, such as anesthesia, when performing exams or services in conjunction with a MRI scan.
Maintains knowledge of all MRI safety requirements for both staff and patients while in and around magnetic fields.
Education :
Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology. Active enrollment in an MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
Certification / License:
MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.BLS required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies. Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation. Frequently may be required to stretch, bend twist, squat or kneel in the daily operation of the MRI department. May be exposed to various physical conditions throughout the day such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, being near moving equipment. Required to use radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure to ionizing radiation.
