This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Loyola Medicine's 3 hospitals are located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago.
Gottlieb Memorial Hospital's GI Lab is a 2-procedure room lab offering a vast variety of procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and feeding tube placement. We offer both monitored anesthesia care (MAC) as well as moderate sedation provided by our RN's depending on availability. We provide services for both inpatient and outpatient.
What Registered Nurse RN will need:
A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire

BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour
ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

The Bed Placement Coordinator is responsible for real-time patient placement and bed assignment across the hospital to ensure timely admissions, efficient throughput, and optimal use of inpatient capacity. This role coordinates patient flow from the Emergency Department, Operating Room, procedural areas, direct admissions, and transfers while working closely with nursing units, physicians, and ancillary departments. The Bed Placement Coordinator is a key operational role in maintaining hospital capacity, reducing patient boarding time, and supporting safe, efficient care transitions in a 24/7 environment.

Responsible for acting as a resource nurse for the department. This is an entry-level leadership position responsible for the coordination of care on designated shifts. The Rehab Services staff recreational therapist provides evaluation and treatment of leisure needs for hospital inpatients in rehab and head pain programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintains good rapport and cooperative relationships. Approaches conflict in a constructive manner. Helps to identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution.
2. Maintains the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patient, physicians, colleagues, and visitors to Chelsea Hospital. Discusses patient and hospital information only among appropriate personnel in appropriately private places.

15. Completes daily charges for each patient while adhering to ethical practices per insurance guidelines for each payer.
16. Works with Manager and scheduling staff to ensure schedules are managed well to achieve targeted productivity and clinic budget.
17. Participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
