What You’ll DoÂ
In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical and psychosocial needs of the psychiatric patient and families. Plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner for the provision of safe and effective care.
RequirementsÂ
Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.

Position Summary
The Patient Transporter is an incredible opportunity for those looking to expand their role in health care and service to others. This dynamic position provides professional and exceptional care through safe and timely transport of patients, supplies, oxygen, beds and equipment throughout the MultiCare facility.
As a Transporter at MultiCare, you will collaborate with the entire nursing staff, hone your decision-making capacities, and enjoy daily variety and problem-solving opportunities.
Responsibilities
You will provide safe and timely transport of patients, beds, oxygen, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility
Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and/or from beds or chairs to and/or from wheelchair or stretcher
You will respond to STAR codes by transporting patient lift equipment and assisting nursing staff, as needed
You will provide assistance to units by cleaning equipment and stocking supplies
Partner with a service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and solid decision-making capacities
You will effectively prioritize and apply organization and flexibility to your work duties
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Current BLS Certification
- Successful completion of in-house training program on patient lift and mobility within 6 months of placement in job
- One (1) year of previous transport or related healthcare experience preferred
- May require certifications based on hospital needs

Pay and Benefit Expectations

Summary:
Performs receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with registering patient for inpatient and outpatient services.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing physician calendars.
Reviews patient charts to ensure imaging is available and all pertinent information to maximize appointment.
Work Department incoming referral work queue daily. Assist patients with appointments in other specialist offices as requested/referred by our physicians.
Communicates with referring physician's office, clinical department(s), and/or other appropriate personnel to exchange necessary information and coordinate surgical/procedural/diagnostic testing and DME as appropriate. Assists in completing surgical orders as directed by department. Routes as appropriate.
Meets with surgical/procedural patient or patient's caregiver to exchange necessary information and documentation. Provides explanation of process, pre-procedure instructions, and addresses concerns and questions. Schedule patient/family surgical conferences.
Builds critically important relationships with physicians, OR staff, as well as insurance representatives in order to help facilitate all scheduling duties.
Round with patients in practice to ensure Excellent Patient Experience is met. Follow-up on reported issues and assist with service recovery.
Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as necessary. Determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays and deductibles, or refers to financial counselors for follow up.
Performs general clerical duties including assisting with the front/back desk as well as scheduling appointments. Assist with signing up patients/Proxy with MyChart activations and Telehealth visits.

Minimum Qualifications

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensures proper patient identification and maintains patient safety, privacy, confidentiality and follows guidelines under HIPAA.

Job Summary:
Distributing staff resources equitably across ProMedica is the top priority of the Resource Pool Staffing Coordinator.
You will ensure 24-hour nursing staff coverage by completing staffing sessions, adjusting assignments, and documenting staffing outcomes. You will work with Nursing Leadership to fill vacancies and determine daily staffing needs.
In this role, you will act as a liaison between the Central Staffing office and Nursing Leadership to foster a high-performance, team-oriented atmosphere.

This unit has 24 beds caring for a mixture of orthopedic, medical and surgical patients that range from adult to geriatrics patients that require acute care for various illness and injuries.
Self-Schedule: Full Time Days. Three 12-hour shifts per week. 7 to 7. Rotating Weekends

The unit operates under the Together Care Team Model, which includes Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. This structure not only enhances patient care but also presents significant opportunities for professional growth into other specialties, such as Emergency Room and Critical Care.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:Â
Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.Â
Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.Â
In addition to providing hands-on nursing care, works and serves in a broad range of capacities including, but not limited to, delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, teaching of the patient and the patient’s family.Â
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Â
A current RN license is required.
Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
