Full-time 2nd shift position, hours 11:30am - 8:00pm M-F and 10:30am - 7:00pm weekend, biweekly weekend & holiday rotation
Pay Range:
$18.85 - $28.30Major Responsibilities:- Assembles patient and mobile meal trays/meals in accordance with approved diet guidelines and portions while adhering to productivity standards.
- Loads and transports food carts. Delivers patient meal trays to patient rooms in accordance with established procedures.
- May provide initial service to visitors in the cafeteria by serving food and maintaining the cleanliness of the cafeteria. Responsible for operating cash register, handling cash and completing daily reports and cash register balance sheets as needed.
- Performs cleaning duties using established sanitation procedures in the kitchen and cafeteria. Washes pots, pans, and dishes according to established procedures.
- Assists with preparation, delivery, setup, cleanup and presentation of catered and specialized events. Assists with "special days/promotions", including decorating. Displays daily specials for presentation to customers. Coordinates the food preparation and presentation of all major catering.
- Prepares snacks, beverages, sandwiches and other patient food items in accordance with standardized recipes and approved diet guidelines and portions while adhering to productivity standards.
- Prepares, arranges, serves and replenishes supplies of food, beverages and condiments in retail areas and kitchen. Prepares entrees, grill and deli sandwiches, and salads with an emphasis on food garnishing and presentation. Replenishes food service areas to include supply of dishes, utensils, glassware, napkins and trays.
- Delivers and stocks all nursing units, doctors' lounges, same day surgery and emergency rooms, following established procedures while adhering to productivity standards.
- Monitors food temperatures and utilizes established procedures to ensure safe food handling techniques and prevent foodborne illness.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Basic knowledge in food service from within a hospital, hotel, restaurant or a related environment.
- Ability to read and understand written and oral communications.
- Good communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office or similar products. Ability to use e-mail and internet.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Operates equipment (i.e. dish-machine, tray line, garbage disposal, etc.) necessary to perform the job. Demonstrating ability to safely and effectively, utilize necessary power equipment.
- Stands walks and reaches above shoulders the majority of the workday as well as squats, bends, twists, kneels and climbs throughout shift.
- Must be able to:
- lift up to 40 lbs. from floor to a maximum 5 ft.
- lift and carry up to 40 lbs. at waist height a reasonable distance.
- Must be able to:
- push/pull with 20 lbs. of force.
- Working atmosphere also contains fumes, odors, and dust/dirt. floor, spices, etc. (Fumes are trucks, dust/dirt from storeroom or cleaning agents).
- May be exposed to mechanical, electrical and chemical hazards. Protective clothing must be worn as necessary.
- May be required to enter patient isolation rooms wearing appropriate coverings during meal service tray delivery and pick up.
- Will be exposed to sharp knives, other sharp cooking utensils, heat from ovens and other hazards in a kitchen environment.

Essential Functions
- Evaluates patients, selects and administers assessment techniques, synthesizes information to establish appropriate patient care plan to include necessary modalities, procedures, exercise programs, therapeutic groups and patient education as warranted by a holistic view of the patient's diagnosis, condition, age, and discharge needs.
- Gathers and interprets appropriate data from the medical record, physician reports, patient, and/or family as evidenced by documentation.
- Establishes functional goals in conjunction with the patient and provides evidenced based intervention to work towards meeting these goals with ongoing assessment to adjust the plan of care as needed .
- Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, daily treatment notes, attendance records, patient/family education, outcomes, discharge notes, and charges as needed.
- Communicates patient's evaluation and subsequent progress to physician, referral sources, and other clinical staff, coordinates patient's schedule and treatment programs, and discharge planning.
- Provides supervision of PTA's and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure.
Physical Requirements
Hearing (corrected) adequate for oral/aural communication. Vision (corrected) adequate for reading. Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills to perform job duties. Sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day. Job duties sometimes require climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, bending; on occasion, crouching, crawling and reaching overhead. Lifting of patients, equipment or supplies will be required up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Able to laterally transfer patients 100 pounds rarely. Must be able to demonstrate any appropriate exercise and activities to patients/caregivers. Personal Protective Equipment such as gloves, goggles, gowns, and masks are sometimes required due to possible exposure to hazardous chemicals or blood and body fluids. Work is in a fast-paced clinical environment. The work environment is primarily indoors but occasionally outdoors.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy program required. applicable state license for Physical Therapy required. BLS required per policy guidelines.

Job Description:
Evaluates, plans, directs and administers programs of Occupational Therapy in an inpatient acute level setting, upon referral by the physician. Plans and conducts OT programs to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach their maximum level of independence. Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, volunteers and students.
Essential Functions
- Provides direct therapy services to patients admitted to a level of care where service provision is required 7 days a week, including holidays (acute care, rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility).
- Evaluates patients, selects and administers assessment techniques, synthesizes information to establish appropriate patient care plan to include necessary modalities, procedures, exercise programs, therapeutic groups and patient education as warranted by a holistic view of the patient's diagnosis, condition, age, and contextual needs of discharge disposition.
- Gathers and interprets appropriate data from the medical record, physician reports, patient, and/or family as evidenced by documentation.
- Communicates patient's evaluation and subsequent progress to physician, referral sources, and other clinical staff and coordinates patient's schedule, treatment programs, regarding discharge planning and recommends solutions to patient care problems.
- Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, daily treatment notes, attendance records, patient/family education, outcomes, discharge notes, and charges.
Physical Requirements
Hearing (corrected) adequate for oral/aural communication. Vision (corrected) adequate for reading. Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills to perform job duties. Sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day. Job duties sometimes require climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, bending; on occasion, crouching, crawling and reaching overhead. Lifting of patients, equipment or supplies will be required up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Able to laterally transfer patients 100 pounds rarely. Must be able to demonstrate any appropriate exercise and activities to patients/caregivers. Personal Protective Equipment such as gloves, goggles, gowns, and masks are sometimes required due to possible exposure to hazardous chemicals or blood and body fluids. Work is in a fast-paced clinical environment. The work environment is primarily indoors but occasionally outdoors.

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Atrium Health Levine Children's is seeking an advanced practice practitioner to join our growing outpatient pediatric GI practice. You will work with a talented and collegial group of 14 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers, 5 registered dietitians, 2 dedicated pediatric psychologists, 2 licensed clinical social workers, and an outstanding nursing team and support staff. The practice is based at the Levine Children's Specialty Center on the campus of Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital, with multiple satellite offices throughout the greater Charlotte region. Our division provides comprehensive services for all children's digestive conditions and has been ranked in the US News & World Report top 25 programs in the country for the last 3 years.

Position:
This APP position will be a hybrid role to include both inpatient and outpatient coverage, offering a varied patient population. When outpatient, the APP will have their own clinic template with a major focus on long-term management of our large population of enterally tube fed patients (i.e gastrostomy tube, gastrojejunostomy tube), and patients with general gastroenterology conditions including gastroesophageal reflux disease, constipation, abdominal pain, failure to thrive, and milk protein intolerance. Our outpatient APPs also work collaboratively with our inpatient APPs to ensure excellent hospital follow-up for patients needing our services. While inpatient, the APP will see hospitalized patients in collaboration with the gastroenterology attending physicians. The inpatient GI service is primarily a consultation service offering recommendations to the primary team (general pediatrics, PICU, Cardiology, NICU or hematology/oncology), but at times it has primary patients. The candidate will have excellent mentorship from current experienced GI APP's and supportive supervising physicians.
This position has no nighttime call or weekend responsibilities. There are also opportunities for involvement in clinical research and quality improvement projects.

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine at Levine Children's Hospital is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join their team of providers in Charlotte, NC. The Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Division is a thriving group of seven physicians and six APPs that serve two children's hospitals and four outpatient locations. Levine Children's is home to Charlotte's only accredited Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center and provides multidisciplinary care in the areas of Aerodigestive, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, MDA, Severe Asthma, Sickle Cell, Pulmonary Hypertension and Technology Dependence.
Levine Children's Hospital is a 253-bed pediatric hospital located on the campus of Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jeff Gordons Hospital is a 28-bed pediatric floor on the campus of Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC. Although we are primarily located at two locations, we are one team that works cohesively and supports each other.

Job Summary
The position will be for a hybrid role. Schedule will be determined based on needs of division but will not include weekends or call. Patients may be medically complex requiring home ventilation and advanced airway management, such as a tracheostomy, in the outpatient setting.
The APP functions independently in an outpatient clinic setting with their own template. The position will work collaboratively with the inpatient team at LCH Main or Jeff Gordons to ensure hospital follow-up needs from our services. Help Facilitate Internal Aurora Transfers telephonically
Help Facilitate Non-Aurora Transfers telephonically, assessing documentation, MD triage, taking and entering orders
Will perform Tele Intake (telephonic or Video) assessments for patients in the ER that have a Behavioral Health Consult. Triage with appropriate on Call MD, along with taking and entering orders.
Take Triage calls telephonically for patients looking for inpatient to see if medical clearance is needed prior to the patient arriving to the hospital for an assessment.
On occasion preforming assessments for outpatient programs and triaging that assessment with the MD for recommended level of are and scheduling the patient for program
We’re Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

- Proficiently operates angiographic and ultrasound equipment used to perform basic to advanced procedures on inpatients and outpatients. Must perform and be proficient with all of the following procedures if performed at assigned facility or by assigned specialty at ASLMC (neuroendovascular, interventional radiology or interventional cardiology), which includes carotid stenting, cerebral intervention including embolization, coiling/stenting, angiograms and/or vertebro, kyphoplasty, chemo therapy, thera sphere embolization, adrenal and petrosal sampling, cryo and Radio Frequency (RF) ablation, and/or aortic aneurysm repair, advanced imaging applications, and complex peripheral interventions.
- Assists with interventional and surgical procedures as a scrub assistant with competent knowledge of equipment and equipment options, while working seamlessly with the attending and resident physicians. Serves as a resource to physicians on procedural equipment options.
- Monitors patients and alerts staff of life threatening changes in patient status. Applies the defibrillator and performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation when required. Provides assistance with emergency procedures, responding quickly and effectively as they occur.
- Identifies and processes images, assuring that images are of diagnostic quality. Assists clinical engineering staff in evaluating digital equipment to maintain consistent image quality.

- Provides direct therapy services to patients admitted to a level of care where service provision is required 7 days a week, including holidays.
- Evaluates patients, selects and administers assessment techniques, synthesizes information to establish appropriate patient care plan to include necessary modalities, procedures, exercise programs, therapeutic groups and patient education as warranted by a holistic view of the patient's diagnosis, condition, age, and discharge needs.

$41.10 - $61.65Major Responsibilities:- Acts as a resource to employees and students, which includes training/orienting, providing day-to-day work direction, and giving input on performance. Assigns, monitors, and reviews progress and accuracy of work, monitors productivity, maintains appropriate staffing levels, directs efforts and provides guidance on more complex issues.
- Assists with human resource responsibilities, which may include interviewing and selection of new employees, staff development, providing performance feedback, resolution of employee concerns, and employee morale. Assists in interpreting department policies and procedures, and advises and updates staff on procedural changes.
- Performs advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures such as M-mode, 2-D, Doppler and Color Flow Doppler utilizing a variety of equipment and techniques and makes the necessary measurements required for the interpretation to obtain accurate, high quality results (for example, muscle wall thickness, diameter of chambers, volume of chambers, valve areas, blood flow velocity and direction). May assist physicians in the Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs by performing echocardiograph studies to aid them in proceeding with complex procedures to decrease risk factors.
- Identifies and defines cardiac abnormalities and extends the scope of the examination appropriately, deviating from standard techniques when necessary and correlating invasive and noninvasive cardiac diagnostic test results with cardiac anatomy and function.
- Prepares patients for procedures and obtains clinical history from the patient including cardiac related physical findings and pertinent laboratory data in order to adapt the imaging techniques to obtain comprehensive and diagnostic echocardiograms to alleviate the probability of erroneous clinical interpretation of the echocardiogram.
- Assists in performing transesophageal studies with cardiologist, calculating appropriate measurements and sterilizes probe.
- Records statistics and performs daily maintenance of the Echocardiography Lab and its equipment, reporting all malfunctions as appropriate.
- In conjunction with supervisor, implements protocols as new technology evolves, and ensures system echocardiography standards are implemented and adhered to.
- Identifies performance improvement opportunities within the department and facilitates change. Works closely with medical director to develop and ensure quality processes and protocols are adhered to; works with physicians to perform quarterly reviews, and assists with ICAEL accreditation ensuring all policies, quality processes, reporting, etc. meet standards.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) registration with Adult Echo issued by the ARDMS, or
- Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registration issued by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), and
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
Education Required:
- Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography which includes experience in digital quantification.
