Our dedicated team of over 30 Board Certified Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Physicians along with our skilled clinical and administrative staff exclusively serve multiple CommonSpirit and AdventHealth nonprofit Hospital ICUs in the Denver metro area and multiple outpatient clinic locations spanning Colorado’s front range. We are currently seeking a Physician board-certified in Pulmonary/Critical Careto join our committed team of professionals.
*What We Do in the Hospital:*
* We provide direct patient care for a broad range of complex critically ill medical and surgical patients in addition to hospital pulmonary consultations.
* We perform typical ICU and pulmonary procedures as required including intubations, chest tubes, central and arterial lines, bronchoscopy etc.
* We have a robust Interventional Pulmonary Service.
* We take care of diverse and complex patient populations including ECMO, transplant, complex GI, Cardiac Surgery, Neurointerventional Radiology and Neurosurgical patients.
* We have a variety of coverage models from 24/7 in-house coverage to remote tele ICU coverage for our smaller hospitals.
* We provide exceptional multidisciplinary care to our patients through our collaborative team-based culture.
* We provide opportunities for additional career development including teaching, hospital leadership and clinical research.

*What we do Outside the Hospital: *
* We manage and provide continuity of care for patients with complex pulmonary and/or sleep conditions.
* We partner with and provide oversight, leadership, and resource support for our Advanced Practice Providers (NP and PA) in our outpatient clinics.
* We build and nurture a culture of strong positive communication with staff, consulting physicians, Nurses, RTs, etc. to best provide excellence in patient care for our patients.
* We engage in and support clinical and administrative leadership activities and initiatives
CCPSA currently serves the following outpatient clinic locations:
* West Clinic in Lakewood, CO
* South Clinic in Parker, CO
* North Clinic in Westminster, CO
* Central Clinic in Littleton, CO
* Goodland, KS
*Skills, Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:*
* Completion of an accredited fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
* Flexibility to travel to various sites, as needed
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff, patients, and colleagues.

$51.05 - $76.60Atrium Health at University is looking for an experienced full time advanced clinical practitioner (ACP) to join their critical care team and help provide care for patients in 8 Bed ICU / pulmonary clinic in Charlotte, NC. This position is seeking board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) or Physician Assistants (PA). Experience in an ICU / Pulmonary medicine as an ACP, or a post grad ICU fellowship is preferred for application. ACP will work in collaboration with a group of critical care / pulmonary physicians and ACPs providing and coordinating care for critically ill patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Duties will include: Inpatient (admission directly from the emergency department, outside hospitals or floor) management of patients that are hemodynamically complex, respiratory-compromised, and critically ill with multiple comorbidities. Outpatient (Clinic follow up / new patients with acute and chronic lung disease) management of medications and ordering and interpreting diagnostic test. Experience with procedures (central line placement, arterial line placement, Lumbar puncture, chest tube placement, thoracentesis and intubation) are preferred but not required.
Position Description:
- Outpatient Setting – seeing follow up appointments and new patients with chronic lung disease.
- Inpatient setting- Daily rounding, evaluation, management and stabilization of complex critically ill patients. Responsible for admission notes, consult notes, daily progress notes, procedures and billing
- Interpreting invasive line data, management of chest tubes and cardiac support devices
- Management of mechanical ventilation
- Service provides coverage with shift-based model. Primarily 8-hour day shifts except for 12-hour weekends at Atrium Health Mercy (every 8 weeks) and occasional holidays which are rotated equally. Inpatient and Outpatient time are rotated between 1 other ACP.
- Teaching opportunities with ACP fellows and nursing staff

Position Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited ACNP or PA program. Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina.
- Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
- Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice. Certification as an ACNP from a nationally recognized certifying body is required.
- Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of PAs is required.
- Post graduate ICU fellowship or experience in an ICU / Pulmonology preferred.
- Interpersonal skills and critical thinking must be demonstrated.
- BLS and ACLS required.
